April Showers bring May Flowers! The transience of the spring season is in full effect this month, though last month was dreary, this one is sunny and warm. Everything is in bloom. There is a specific quest on the board that seems to be calling for help a little bit more loudly than the others this month, and it is mostly because an elderly lady (the one from last year?) is waving her quest slip around and refusing to leave the board.
"Dearie- Dearie, oh you are perfect for the job!" She exclaims upon seeing you. "That awful Nyssa from last year is back, a-trompin' through my garden and those surrounding it. My poor bonsais!" She practically holds out the quest slip to you, hoping you'll take it. "This year I can't spare any bonsais, but I've got another thing cookin' up. If you help, I can give you some rather... excitable sprouts!"
What is an excitable sprout anyway? Ah well, looks like you're stuck with this one anyway. To Granny's Garden- again!
Jewel was endeared to the old lady he had previously helped out. There was something about the elderly that he enjoyed - they were cute, wise, and often generous with their coin. He was a simple man. It was mutually beneficial for him to agree to help out. What kind of a person would he be if he said no to her desperate plea?
A stupid one, because he needed income.
"Of course I'll help you, ma'am," He said, soothing one hand over her upper arm. "We'll get it sorted out for you, hmm? Don't stress. You just relax and wait for me to come back with the good news."
She appeared ever so grateful. There wasn't a bad bone in her body, he was sure; she gave Rosie a beak rub before they were due to set off, and made sure he was ready to face the Nyssa. Pff! What harm could a big tree do to him?
