"Well, that's that for the Mantra." Riku said as he closed the register. His flying friend was already snooping over his shoulder with his wings spread wide to keep balance. They looked around in the lobby of the building, which was dim from the natural light of the sun fading away.
Down the three separate paths they could see bits of light. To the left, into the office, a few computer lights could still be seen flickering, as well as that of a second alarm system. Up the stairs, a hall light was dimly seen. Riku used to live up there with his Malii.....until the city kicked him out. Since then he was in the process of transitioning the upstairs into a second floor for the same or similar services as the ground floor. Lastly, to the right that same dim hall light could be seen as well as a flew flicks of artificial 'candles' that stayed lit at all times in a few of the mood-rooms.

He was proud of his accomplishments here. Granted, he had a lot more planned for the place that simply couldn't be accomplished yet...He wanted to provide more complicated services like soul-realignment, node-detox, shadow training, and more. However, he would need magic for that which he did not possess yet. For now all he could do was provide guided meditations, yoga, exercise, relaxing environments, and healings from his Malii friends. He couldn't even heal yet on his own.
Kioume curled his tail around near Riku's collar bone to get his attention. Riku reached up and rubbed his side and then exited the building after locking up. The sun was on its way down, and they were headed to the questing area to see what was needed lately. Sometimes the board was almost empty, and other times it was over-full. He wondered how often people took their fliers down once their request had been finished...

Reaching the area, he was glad there was a light over the board. It wasn't dark yet, but it wasn't so bright anymore either. There were a lot of fliers this time, and a few had glitter or pieces sticking out to catch his attention - however sometimes he liked to be rebellious and let others fall for those tricks. He reached his hand out and covered his eyes. Kioume noticed and laughed, placing his tail over the boy's hand to make sure he didn't cheat. He waved his hand gentle around to 'disorient' himself and then stepped forward to see which piece of paper his hand would land on. Grabbing one, and opening his eyes after the hand and tail had been removed, he noticed a strange poor quality photo of a bug. Possibly. It also may have been a vehicle or a cup of some sort...He went on to read the request to find out.

"What does it say?" Kioume asked, unable to read yet. (And not really caring to, he still didn't consider this dimension his home, and anything written that pressed him could just as easily be translated by Riku.) He leaned in to study the strange shape of the words that made no sense to him.
"It says there are rare glowing moths around this time of the year. Apparently they congregate around the park. Sound fun?" he raised the photo up for his familiar to see.
"Yeah, that could be fun. It'd be nice to see how they use my presence at such low levels. I imagine it would tickle." He laughed and then gestured with his head for them to head out....although he still didn't know exactly which direction the park was. He had only been there once in passing.
"Okie-doke." Riku said, folding the paper up and putting it in his pocket as they walked away.

Reaching the park, Riku realized they didn't have a net or any sort of equipment. He figured he could put any captured insects in the jacket he had on, and just walk home a bit cold.....Hopefully they wouldn't die before he was able to bring them to the listed delivery location the next day. Did moths eat everyday...? How big were these things anyway? Would they eat his jacket!? How fast do moths eat anyway? Well, surely he had a box or something at home to store them in overnight - with air holes, of course!
"I can feel them..." Kioume said, perking his head up. He was looking around, but it was obvious he wasn't using his eyes. "Do you see any from here...?"
"Well, it's sorta hard to tell what's a moth and what is just a reflection from the lamps..." He squinted a bit. (Like that's really going to help at night.)
