Fanged hadn’t spent proper bonding time with Heather for a little while. She felt a bit bad about it, but she was glad she had the chance to take the Pasha-Sarane out on a day trip. She didn’t exactly know where she wanted to go, but before long she found herself wandering over towards the quest board. Perhaps there would be something simple here that would be the perfect fit for them. “Why don’t we go check it out?” She suggested to Heather. The Pasha was happy enough to accompany her closer to the board. Fanged scanned the different options, hey eyes lighting up when she found something rather intriguing. “Hunting down bugs? I can’t say I’ve ever done that before.” She remarked. It seemed like it would be a nice day to spend in the park as well. It was already early afternoon, which meant the sun was shining brightly overhead. (Heather 8 1/5, 15 1/5) 1

Once she was settled on her quest choice, she guided Heather to the direction of the park. She wasn’t sure what the insects looked like. The name glowmoth at least gave her some indication for what she was looking for, but the picture was too blurry to distinguish much.
“Guess we’ll have to figure things out as we look. I’m sure there will be something distinguishing about the moths. I don’t think regular moths really glow, but I’m not familiar with all species.” She commented.
The park wasn’t too far away from where they were. She hadn’t taken Heather there yet, but the Pasha was eager enough to follow her there. Fanged felt a comforting sense of excitement bubble in her chest. This quest wouldn’t be dangerous and she would be learning a lot about moths! She found insects fascinating even though she didn’t know all that much about them.

In order to actually capture the moths she was hunting, she’d need some supplies first. She would figure that detail out when she got to the park. Surely there would be something around that she could use. Heather trotted happily alongside Fanged as the drew close to the entrance of the park.
“Maybe we can see if we can ask someone if we can borrow a net or something like that.” Of course having something to catch the moths would only be helpful if she could also find the insects as well.
The park entrance was fairly busy. This ensured that there would likely be someone she could borrow some supplies off of if need be. Heather paused for a moment her attention focused on the various pets that were nearby. Fanged didn’t have that many pets in her kennel. This would be the first time Heather had seen most of them.

Fanged waited for most of the people to walk by them before proceeding with Heather. She didn’t want the Pasha-Sarane to become too overwhelmed by the new sights and smells. When the majority of people had left, she took the chance to examine the few people that remained. Most of the people were rather mundane. They were simply there to train their companion creatures. The people training complex battle moves were likely further into the park. Her attention focused in on a young woman that was busy cutting up an old net into small sections. Perhaps she would be willing to give her some materials to catch some moths.
“Excuse me, but do you think you could spare me enough of your net for me to create something to catch some moths with?” She flashed a bright smile at the woman, hoping that would make the sudden intrusion less annoying. Luckily, the woman appeared to be quite friendly.

After a brief conversation, she was happy to lend Fanged the materials required to construct her own bug catching net. She waved goodbye and stepped away with Heather by her side. She spotted a picnic table that would allow her to create a workspace.
“After this we’ll be able to look for the moths! That should keep you busy!” She teased Heather. Keeping a baby pet entertained could be difficult since they seemed to have a high amount of energy when they weren’t sleeping.
Fanged worked quickly. It was simple to fashion a net, but a little bit more complicated to craft a net that bugs wouldn’t be able to escape from. Once she was done, she glanced around for a bug to conduct a net stress test on. Luckily, there were an abundance of butterflies around, prevalent in the warm, spring weather. Heather regarded them with curiosity, her bright blue eyes following the insects as they flew around the wildflowers underfoot.
