She's tall with a fairly skinny body and very low fat level. She has a boyish figure, with a mostly flat chest and narrow hips that, if it weren't for her height, would make her look like a twelve year old boy. She stands at about 5'8" tall, at least she did the last time she cared. It's highly unlike that's changed since she was sixteen, though - nothing else about her body has.

She has a heart shaped face that contains two muted gray-green eyes that are flecked with bits of hazel around the pupil. Her eyes are framed with long eyelashes, a pair of thin-framed glasses, and a flurry of light freckles covers her nose and cheeks. They don't stop there, though - they trace down her neck and shoulders before being sparse on her arms.

She generally keeps her hair cut short, and deals with that on her own. Because of that, her ash brown locks are often cut very short, around the level of the nape of her neck, and choppy. She doesn't quite care - she likes it, and that's what matters. After having her hair long for most of her life, it's actually quite a relief to her. Her bangs are swept to the right side of her face.

She has a myriad of scars on her body. They're mostly in places that clothing will hide, minus one that's right below her right eyebrow. The knuckles on her hands are scarred up from rough play as a child. She has various scars from animal incidents all her life - spending so much time with them, you're bound to get a few scratches and bites here and there. The one above her right eyebrow was from knocking her head off a sharp corner. There's also a rather large one on her upper left arm from a fall that ended with the knife she was holding gouged in to her bicep. She also has very ragged finger tips - the nails are always bitten short and uneven, and when she runs out of nail to bite she attacks the flesh around her nails. The focus is mainly on the outside of the thumb and her middle and ring fingers. She regularly has hangnails, which she attempts to bite out, and she's quite prone to infections in the corners of her fingernails because of that.

Casual clothing suits her best. She doesn't go out of her way to grab anything pretty or nice, she just grabs whatever she feels like. This often means loose shirts and the occasional dress. Unfortunately, short dresses and her height don't get along. (She hates listening to that, though - if she wants to rock a mini dress, she will.) Clothes meant to rock curves don't work with her build, clothes with room for breasts just look weird on her.

Quiet, absentminded and relatively unstable. She's impulsive and headstrong and occasionally reckless in her behaviours, and she's very good at having rocky relationships with other people. She obsesses and over thinks and can find flaws in everything. Her moods are as erratic as the waves, coming and going faster than one could imagine to levels she doesn't know how to comprehend sometimes. She gets sick when she gets stressed or anxious or just overwhelmed from what happens in her head. She's good at hiding inside of herself.

But she's a people person. Or, at least, a her people person. She doesn't know what she would do without the people she cares about, because they give her something to strive for. She can be rocky with them when her mood sways in the wrong direction, and she's prone to cutting people out of her life if they upset her or she thinks they're upset with her, but when she's relatively sound of mind she's an incredible and loyal friend. Albeit, someone who wants attention. She's very bad at being by herself. She's even worse at being with someone and in silence - are they not talking because they're comfortable, or because they think she's not worth talking to? Probably the latter in her mind.

That's why she takes in animals. They're not the same as people, but she forms bonds to them just as quickly, and she never can convince herself that she's better off with one of her animals out of her life. She's formed an intense bond with a couple of her equillion, and she loves training a couple of her other pets as well. When she's not with another person, she will always be found with one of her animals. They're like her best friends. The only animals that she doesn't like are anything insects - including spiders. They all have more than four legs and weird eyes and that's what matters to her. Expect to hear her scream if she ever has to deal with one.

Despite her issues with handling others and her emotions, she's a very lively young woman. She spends her time immersed in books and romanticizing everything. She loves reading and writing and drawing and painting, and art is one of her favourite activities. Honestly, she couldn't really name any other "hobby" that she had if she was asked. Art is the only thing that stands out to her. She aspires to be better at it all, and to expand her knowledge. She wants to learn dance and music and every possible artistic thing that the world has to offer.

She might not want to fall hopelessly in love with anyone who will look at her, but she's a sucker for positive attention and predisposed to getting hooked away too easily. The feeling rarely lasts, though - she struggles to understand that things aren't strictly black and white and that sometimes peoples' mistakes aren't meant to be a slight on her. It makes being a hopeless romantic a bit of an issue for her. Despite this she has been able to make relationships work, when paired with someone patient enough. She's quite enthusiastically pansexual, and doesn't really care what you identify as.

She has a lot of little habits. When her glasses sink even a few millimeters from the highest point on the bridge of her nose, she has to push them up. She's a nail biter, originally when anxious but now it's a habit that she can't lose. When anxious she digs her fingernails in to the back of her other hand - the pain sensation from that action is relieving to her. She also scratches the back of her head a lot, mainly when flustered or confused. She never sits normally - she always has her legs crossed up on the seat or she has her knees pressed to her chest.
