Xentus and Duma followed after the woman and closed the door behind him, flipping the notice on the glass window to 'occupied'. The pachee was freed from his harness, now that there was a nice, cushy room that he would be contained in. The floor was covered in plush green carpet that resembled grass and there with various toys strewn about for the creatures to play with. It certainly provided a stark contrast to the sterile white waiting room and hallway. It was friendly and inviting in here, perfect for pairs of creatures to get to know one another.
The mammalian settled himself on one of the colorful chairs provided, watching Duma for a moment. The pachee was equal parts interested in resuming playtime with Spice and in claiming the toys in the room. He glanced between the choices between a rubber ball, a squeaky eggplant, and greeting Spice once again.. And opted to nose around the carrier.
"So then, what is the ah.. Typical process with this?" the leopard asked curiously, turning his attention back to the experienced breeder.

Fiera glanced around at the room. It was certainly well suited to their purposes today, nice and green to help simulate the pachees’ natural environment. She set the carrier down gently and looked up as Xentus spoke to her again. “Ah, right!” She said, fiddling around with her purse. “I had almost forgotten.” She pulled out a plastic baggie from her bag, inside of which was three ripe berries in magenta, blue and orange. “First things first, I have to give Spice the breeding berries. She’ll be the one making the offspring, so it’s best if they go to her.” With that in mind, Fiera crouched down and slid the berries through the bars of the carrier, letting them fall in. Spice seemed upset at the intrusion at first, but after a moment grew excited at how nice this new food smelled and happily mashed them up with her paws, absorbing the juices through the roots in her feet.

"Aha", the single subtle noise escaped Xentus, letting Fiera know that he was listening keenly. It seemed that when the feline-like woman had something to say, she was sure to say all of it. He let her have the audible space to speak, not minding this about her at all. But he really wished he had brought his notebook along.. It hadn't crossed his mind when he was prepping to come here, so mental notes would need suffice for now. Alright, so breeding berries went to the female.. He stole a glance at the colorful array of fruit, taking a mental snapshot. Those he'd seen at that one natural supply store before, he thought. Made sense though, they sold pachee there. Honestly, he sometimes got Nature's Bounty confused with Herbologist's Delight. Similar (mostly) plant-based stock, yet offered vastly different products.
Duma was a little jealous to witness Spice get all of the good treats.. An almost pout-like 'chee' escaped the male. It seemed he wouldn't get a share. But, it did make him happy in a way that the other pachee was enjoying herself. He was just waiting for the moment they got to really play.

A quick glance showed that Xentus really WAS interested in her knowledge in this field, and he wasn’t just saying that to be polite. He seemed tuned in in every sense of the word. Fiera didn’t have much to show off by this point though- it was up to Spice to finish eating. Thankfully though, pachee baby berries weren’t too hard to find usually. Most of the time she bought them in bulk from Nature’s Bounty and just used them up throughout the months. Goodness knew she did enough pachee breeding to warrant it.
Once Spice was done eating however, Fiera finally saw fit to let her out of the carrier. The female burst out in a flurry of brown and white fur, pouncing directly at Duma. Fiera laughed with surprise- she should have seen that coming, what with how Spice had practically been vibrating with excitement for the past half hour. Now she could finally play!

Finally, playtii- ah! Duma squeaked as the fluffy Spice assaulted him as she was unleashed. He rolling over onto his back like a ferret, little paws patted against the fur and fluff - wrestling back in full play mode. The excited male's leaf wings rattled and segmented tail flicked, now beginning to scatter flecks of pollen into the air.
"This one appreciates the guidance thus far, Miss Ferella. So now they simply play?", Xentus piped up curiously a gentle grin on his muzzle as he watched the two pachee wrestling, "Reminds this one of orbaru." Now, he'd never bred orbaru himself, but those soft little bundles of love were prolific enough for most to know their habits. The room they were in now was likely intended for orbaru use if he had to guess. But the pachee took a liking enough to it as far as he could tell. Honestly they seemed much more enthralled with each other than whatever fun little toys the room had to offer. The leopard normally wouldn't like to admit it, but these little things were very adorable to witness.

Fiera chuckled as the pachee rolled end over end, wrestling together eagerly. It was completely adorable. On a more practical note however, Fiera noticed that the play was sending puffs of pollen into the air, a lot of which was landing on Spice’s fur and face. Perfect. “Yes, they usually just play with each other for a bit.” Fiera said simply. “The play makes the male stir up pollen from his tail, it flies into the air and lands on the female’s forehead, and then we’re good and golden.” It was pretty simple all things considered, but she supposed there was more nuance to be had in selecting berries and pairs of pachee to introduce to each other to start with. “I’m looking forward to how this turns out.” Fiera said, placing her hand under her chin. “...This was a lot of fun.” She admitted. What could she say- it was nice to have good company.
