  Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally. |

The first fight went well. Almost surprisingly so. Mira went without injury and defeated her foe fairly quickly. The victory inspired confidence in the trainer-animal pair. Xentus felt better about his skills in teaching and training; Mira had performed excellently. She responded well, reacted well, fought well. But it was too soon for celebration. The first fight was the gateway for more to come, and it was time for the next battle.
Xentus knelt beside the mosca, petting her head and looking endearingly into her eyes. He could see her anticipation, excitement, and fright. This venture was still one that he had his qualms about; he could tell Mira wasn't exactly eager to go into the ring, unlike how a sarane drake might be. But she certainly seemed empowered, if he had to guess. And he did too. He let Mira be taken into the arena, promising her to be there for her in the stands.
