Fossil Revival
Fossil Revival is a system in which you can take some of the fossils you may have found while
Down in the Mines and have the Museum extract enough DNA out of the fossils to provide you with a new Re-animated buddy! Of course, re-animated creatures may not always come out how you expect- but that is the fun of it! Mix and match ingredients to see what you get. Different ingredient lists can make completely different results, but generally using the same lists may have similar results.

5. Go
Here and fill out the form.
6. Wait patiently for the Museum to be finished with your revival! When your creature is done being Re-animated, you will be given your new prehistoric buddy!
-Remember, after you turn in the items to get your re-animated buddy, you will lose those items!
-NOTE: Every Baby form of a Prehistoric 'Fossil Revived' creature is on a base. There are quite a few bases though, for the different types and sub-types of creature! Colors will often be different. You will receive a basic re-animated creature, at this stage. Your new buddy can grow, but you must take extra good care of them in order to make sure that they grow up good and strong, or they'll never grow! You must feed your Re-animated creature and make sure to spend time with it, so that it gains levels. After the process is completed and you've put the work in, you can bring your baby back to the Museum to be put in an Incubator- and it will Evolve! Evolution is a long and arduous process, so it may take a long while to get your buddy back. During the time period in which you are waiting, you cannot play with your re-animated buddy until it is given back to you, grown!
How to evolve a Re-Animated Baby1. For every five (5) levels and loyalty (together, so it must be raised by You) it gains, you may feed it a single (1) Nutrient! Nutrients can be bought at the
Nature's Bounty.
2. You may feed your Re-Animated creature Ten (10) Nutrients at most. You don't have to feed it that many if you don't want to.
3. A Single Nutrient can be used no more than Five (5) times.
4. Starting at Level and Loyalty 25, it can be taken to the incubator to Evolve.
-Fill out the form in the
request thread.
5. It can only evolve once, and it is permanent/cannot be reversed!
-Evolution takes a long time, after all, the artist must draw it! Do not ask the artist about the status of your growth, it will take time. Be patient. If you harass the artist, you will be banned from the fossil revival system.
-NOTE: Every Evolved creature is unique, and must be hand-drawn! If you get a similar creature to someone else, it will have different coloring and/or markings at the very least! At this point, you will have a fully evolved dinosaur! Congratulations!
If you see a re-animated that someone else has that you'd like, you will probably get something very similar if you feed your 'same-type' re-animated baby the same diet as the individual that got that one. After all, re-animated buddies that are the same type and raised the same way aught to be pretty similar? Of course, if you want a completely different re-animated creature, you could always do a combination that has not be done before!
