The mammalian felt like he had managed to be quite a few places this month, but soon enough it would be over. There would be no more errands for him to run this month, since this was the very last stop. Of course he knew that he would be working most of the rest of the month, but at least he'd give the poor overworked shopkeepers a rest from his own trips! He couldn't say that for anyone else, though.
He had left Auburn at home this trip, as she was sleeping and hadn't been feeling well lately. His shoulder feels... Empty or cold perhaps, as he steps up to the door of the Questing Inquisitor and then opens it, stepping through. He walks up to the front counter, feeling apologetic while also reaching for his Quest Card. He fishes it from a pouch at his side, and goes to hand it over. "Hello! I hope you're doing okay today. Could I get five QP worth of credits? I'll be out of your hair as soon as possible." He said, apologetically.[Renathan is using Sever Bond]

Jolyne swiped the card from the customer's hand and sighed through her nose. Simple enough to do, fortunately. She keyed in the transaction and ran it through, before holding the card back out to them. "All done."

This particular shopkeeper was always a little bit... Well, Renathan wasn't really sure where to place it. Ever the one to try to hold out for peace, he hoped that it was that she had other things to do as well as do this job. Otherwise, it seemed a little uncouth of her to act the way she did. However, Renathan was not one to point this out, even if it did make him uncomfortable. The job got done well enough, each time, so he didn't have to worry about it. After the card is swiped (he pretends not to hear the sigh out of politeness) he takes it back as it is given. "Thank you very much ma'am. I'll be out of your hair now." He smiled beneath the mask, but it was an awkward one. He was never entirely sure what to do, here. Out of his element entirely.
He makes a retreat, but is quite glad that he doesn't have any more errands to run for a while at least.

"Yeah, you're welcome. Bye, now." With that, Jolyne was back to flipping through a magazine.
