When was too soon to breed a Pachee? Jack didn't know the answer to that, but it was apparently not too long after they were born. Jack sighed a little and rubbed her face as she walked with the two little ones behind her, Kouska not on a leash, while Peach was on a leash. She just didn't trust the young one enough just yet to be off leash, they didn't know each other all that well, which wasn't a bad thing, but it definitely put a damper on the breeding, she figured. As the three of them walked toward the Breeding Center, she wondered about bringing another male, for about the thousandth time. It wasn't like she had anything else to do, but that took longer than the others, she knew, so she was sticking with her guns this time, enough for her at the moment and all that. Little Peach was adorable, and Sparkle would already have grandkits after this breeding, was that a bad thing? Apparently not in her mind, but whatever happened, would happen, she knew with a little chuckle. Oh well, it was alright in the mind of the woman, and as they walked, she hummed.

There wasn't much for her to go on, she didn't know anything about Kouska or Peach really, she hadn't bred Kouska and all that, but... what do we know about it at the same time? She sighed a little and rubbed her face a little and all that, and she didn't really care at the same time. It was fine no matter what, but what was she going to do right now? The two of them were definitely having fun it seemed, he was already letting loose some pollen. He was apparently excited about things it would seem, but there wasn't anything she could do about it. Whatever, just get this breeding over with and go home she figured with a nod. If she was happy with the offspring, then everything would be fine, and she would get closer to these two as well by bringing them to the Breeding Center. Happy with her reasoning again, she nodded once more and then walked a little faster toward the building. Whatever happened, she was hoping that things would work out for her, that these wouldn't be too terribly similar in color as well, and she wondered what would happen at that point.

What was wrong with her right now? She usually wasn't all that iffy on breedings, but she was at the moment, and she couldn't figure out why. She was also a little grumpy, so she didn't know what to do at the moment she thought. Jack sighed a little and looked at the two Pachee. It wasn't too late to turn back, she figured, but... she knew she wouldn't do that. That was an issue with her, she knew, and she hoped that everything was going to be alright in the end. She was so... competitive with herself, she knew, and the woman smiled a little at the thought. Maybe she needed to figure out what to do with herself at the moment, and she couldn't figure it out right now. What was she going to do with all of this at the moment anyway? She kept getting babies, and that wasn't going to happen anymore, she couldn't do this at all. Turn around, just turn around with Peach and Kouska and go home, get some rest, do this again tomorrow if she felt like it. She wasn't going to do that though, she never took her own advice it seemed.

Jack sighed. Her two Pachee were happy to be out and about with her it seemed, and she sighed a little as she thought about it. They were happy, why couldn't she be happy? So much was going on right now that she didn't understand what she needed to do. She had fossils to grow and feed, and all that fun stuff, Sarane to fight and grow, Houluh to do the same with, why was she so focused on breeding right now? It had to be something she was thinking of at the moment, and she shook her head, she was getting way too upset with herself right now, and that would never go on at the moment. If everything was bothering her so much with this, then why do it, really? Jack didn't know, but that was the beauty of it, she never knew why she did certain things, and that was even worse when it came down to it. Jack stared at the Breeding Center in the distance, she could totally just turn around and head home with the two behind her and no one would know the difference. She would, however, and she didn't like being a failure.

Maybe this was supposed to fill some void she had within herself, she really didn't know. Tugging lightly on the leash, she got Peach moving again after she paused to sniff at some flowers, and they moved on. Everything was starting to get brown and crinkly, she knew it was almost autumn, and that bothered her too. Watching everything wither up and die was upsetting, and she didn't know how to fix it at the moment. It wasn't something she could fix. Maybe that was the worst of it, she couldn't fix it and didn't know what to do about it. Jack rubbed her neck and popped it before staring at the Breeding Center in the distance. Just a few more minutes and she would get there, the two little Pachee in tow. They seemed excited, even though they didn't really know what they were going to be doing, they were just happy to be out and about, it would seem. Without much to go on, the woman trudged ahead with a sigh, wondering what she was doing to herself. She supposed it didn't really matter right now anyway, and that was fine when she thought about it, but on some level, it did matter.

Something was wrong with her, she knew, but she couldn't put her finger on it. She had plenty of friends, but something was making her mad and she didn't know why. What was it...? Shaking her head, she figured she would never know, and that was probably fine, but for now it just angered her and she stomped toward the Breeding Center without much thought at the moment. It was irritating, what was she supposed to do right now anyway, other than a breeding or two? She was still waiting on Arvest to grow, which was annoying because she wanted to put him into the Working Salonne, and she shook her head. She couldn't rush a goddess, she knew, but she wished she could no matter what. Jack just hoped that everything would turn out well for herself and the Pachee pair she was walking with, it would be the worst if everything went down because of her and her attitude. Usually she was pretty placid, pretty calm, but for some reason she was now worked up and she was glad she was with animals who wouldn't take it personally, not like Kairfuryoo or Orbaru, though the later had short memories.

The Breeding Center loomed overhead now, and she went to open the door but paused. She really didn't want to go in, but she also didn't want to get into trouble for being outside of the Center while her Pachee bred. It was a bit of a conundrum, but she also knew what was going to happen if she didn't go inside. She would get into trouble and nothing good would ever come of that, they might even take her Pachee away. Yanking open the door, the two Pachee followed her inside, looking around with wonder. She supposed Kouska might vaguely remember being there before, someone else had bred him after all, but Peach probably wouldn't remember a thing about being born there, which was halfway a shame, she thought with a scowl. As the woman walked over to fill out paperwork, Peach following after on the leash, she hoped that everything would turn out well. Did she think it wouldn't? Was that why she was so upset at the moment? It killed her to think of it like that, but there wasn't much else she could go on right now. As she shook her head, she hoped that nothing would happen that was bad.

It was almost time for kits to come already, unfortunately. Peach had taken in quite a bit of pollen on the way over, she needed to train her females out of that before too much longer, who knew what she would get if something invaded one of her females. Scowling a little, she filled out the paperwork as the two Pachee played a little together, and then pushed the papers over to the attendant, somewhat apologetically. She didn't know what was wrong with her, but she knew she needed to do what she could at the moment to get things done. If this was going to take her mind off of whatever was going on with her, then she was going to have to figure it out sooner or later. Jack pushed her hair back and sighed a little as she turned around and looked around the waiting room. No one else was there, which was probably a good thing considering her mood at the moment, and she gave a dry smile, she didn't know if she came off as intimidating or not, but whatever happened, she was going to be great in the end, she always was in the past at least.

The past was the past, however, but she could try and determine what was good for her future soon enough. She hoped that everything would be well in the long run, but she really didn't have much to go on, sadly. Just whatever happened in the past wasn't quite good enough, she thought with a sigh. Oh well, it would be fine at the moment, and the woman took the two Pachee over to a room down the hallway with a nod to the attendant. It wasn't like they weren't used to seeing her there at all hours of the night, but at the same time it had been awhile since she had done a breeding this late in the day. They were open all day every day though, so it wasn't like they didn't expect things like this to happen. Jack sighed a little and flopped onto a chair once the three of them got into a room, and she smiled halfway at them as she dug the berries out of her bag. They were a little squished, but at least it would make it easier for them to get the nutrients out, she figured. Maybe that was true, she didn't know.

The pair of Pachee almost greedily sucked up the nutrients of the berries as though they hadn't eaten all day. She knew that wasn't right though, they had certainly eaten and all that. Maybe they were just being greedy, it wouldn't really surprise her at that and everything. Jack sighed a little and leaned back in her chair, glancing over at another chair in the room with a frown. Someone else was supposed to be there, but she didn't know who, and it bothered her to no end. What was she supposed to do about it though? It didn't make much sense, but there she had it, someone was supposed to be there and they weren't. She felt something wet on her face and wiped it off, she didn't care about things right now, it all hurt too much. What was she supposed to do with her life if someone wasn't there eventually? Maybe she was meant to be alone, maybe that was the thought she was having at the moment, and it really wouldn't surprise her in the end. All she could do was hope that things would work out for her, though she didn't think they would in the end.
