While the center wasn't too far from where Reinic and Yang were, it was still a rather bright, sunny day and the water-thriving girl wasn't about to waddle down to the building with Yang. She was even reluctant to leave the pond, but with the hands of a practiced ear-rubber and nose-kisser, Yang had managed to coax Reinic out of her pond and bundled up to be taken to the center. The staff were happy to help, both with hauling the Lotine in the vehicle, and getting her un-wraveled/situated in the room. Yang had to take a few minutes to fill the proper paper-work out. Clipped onto a simple clip-board, she filled the sheet with the basic info for lotine-lola reproduction. She scoffed inwardly; she probably would've been better off just trying to get Reinic to re-produce in the comforts of her pond. What could these guys know about lotine berries and producing lola, that made it a better place to grow? _____ 1 Reinic: lvl. 5 [1/5]

Yang finished the last page of paperwork with uplifting zeal; despite her inner monologe about lotine and lola production, she'd never seen it done before! Having Reinic produce berries hadn't even been a thought, never mind on her priority list, until recently. Taking off towards the room where Reinic was put not seconds after the clip-board his the receptionists' desk. Stepping in quietly, and closing the door just-as, she took in the decor with methodical calculations. The room had a nice in-ground round bath, already filled with the hefty coils of Reinic's lower body, and the tiles in and around the room were all aquatic green. Big ferns had been placed towards the back, and while there wasn't many plants that were flowering, the armoa of the green already there was strong. There must've been a reason for the plants, and smells, sounds, and set-up, because Reinic was right comfortable!

She splashed in slight as she bobbed in and out of the water; zipping from one end of the moderately sized 'pond' to the other, a sleek, sheen of a silver and black, projectiling under the water. Yang watched on, peeling off her thick jacket that she'd forgotten about until just this second. The humidity of the room was strong, and the heat was almost surprising. It was a temperature that would be nigh impossible to maintain outside of an enclosed space, especially if the space the lotine called home was outdoors. Hanging the coat up on the knob of the rooms door, Yang took her time looking at the rooms décor as she made her way over to the center of the room, admiring the paintings on the top-half of the walls that made the space give the impression that it was massive; and filled with dense vegetation!

The room was a decent size for what it was made for; the pool itself curved over half of the space. Its ledges were covered in the same soft blue-greens as the rest of the room, blending with the tile-work. The pool was a perfect size, largely 'bean' in shape and giving plenty of space for a lotine to swim about, twirling and circling without having her movements cramped. Its porcelain design looked like it was kept clean of algae on the regular, allowing the spectacular artisticly painted designs on the bottom to shine through. They were soft brush-stroked paintings; no doubt added for the simple blue colours that would mingle with the whites and greens of the room. A small modernized waterfall gently spilled in from the side of a far ledge, and as Yang sat along the other, she could see more jets down in the water, just small ones, dotting the pool. The whole fake pond had its own current, shown on its surface with its bobbing, decorative water-plants.

Yang looked closer at the plants, the floating bundles, of what looked like clover, drifting among the ripples that Reinic caused. As far as Yang could tell it was just some form of aquatic clover. She wasn't much for plants, and outside of what luck she had with her garden, wasn't much of a green-thumb either. At the very least, whatever the plant was, there was no way it could cause harm to Reinic, because everything in this facility would be made for Lotine digestion. She figured. Yang absent-mindedly chewed on the bottom of her lib, glancing waywardly towards her wrist. She was always immediately connected to her notes, accessed via her own technological additions, and upon making eye contact with Reinic's big innocent violet eyes (who was adorable, and also spending a moment periscoping out of the water, like a very silly lotine), Yang flicked onto her online connection.

A teal, holographic screen flickered lightly before stabilizing into space. It was a virtual desktop of notes and information, which Yang touched, dragged, clicked, and sifted through until she came upon 'LOTINE' files, nestled next to a 'CLASSIFIED'-labeled document. She ignored the bolded classified documents, not even testing the idea of doing work while on her once-in-a-blue-moon day off. The Lotine were a species created outside of her sanctioned area of the Labs, and though she didn't have access to their DNA structure for her own work, the basic in-and-outs of raising Lotine (and Lola) was available to anyone and everyone who had an online connection. She skimmed the text and photographs, mumbling as she flicked through bits and pieces of information. The translucency of the screen allowed her to see Reinic swimming; she was nosing a more grass-like plant now, that definitely looked like a safe, if-beefy, variation of out-door grass.

Despite the semblance of normalcy, Yang continued to skim the information online, comforted by the collective information produced by others. She didn't feel... well, Real-real danger about the plants. If she felt that there was a true emergency, she could always head out the door and look for a staff-member. Yang couldn't help but chew on her lip, reaching the bottom of one page and heading to the next. So far there was nothing to be read up about poisoned-by-plants, whether purposeful or accidental; what were the chances a plant-based creature could be affected by plant-synthesized toxins, or poisons? Reinic gave a gentle chirp, and yang nearly jumped out of her skin! In the silence of skimming the text, the lotine had swam weightlessly towards Yang, her eyes skimming the surface with predatory intent. Upon Yang's intent focus on the blue-box though, the hard lip-biting apparent, Reinic came up from her playful stalking, nosing Yangs shoulder in an instinctual concern.

Yang blew a raggedy breath; a breath she'd been holding tight in her chest without realizing it. Turning off the active blue-screen with a soft 'blip', she turned 'round to face Reinic, stroking and petting the girls face and neck. "Know what, it's probably fine; you're probably fine," She murmured letting go of the shrill buzz in her subconscious that paced, and wondered loudly, about the dangers in proclaimed safe-environments. "Guess there's just something about plants," Or confined, sterile environments that was built outside of Yangs knowledge, much like the rest of the labs, and the others who made a home here. A familiar cold sensation crawled along Yangs spine, but with a firm expression, she ignored it, rather, reaching down into the water instead to give Reinic a small splash of water. At the very least, even with the black smudge mark on the back of her mind, she could still give Reinic some well-deserved attention.

The girl wasn't impressed by the unexpected splash of water to her face, and she gave a snort, dipping back below the water once again with a soft 'bloop' and a flick of her tail. Yang should've known Reinic wouldn't have appreciated the splash; she was always swimming so fluidly, so peaceful and smooth, hardly ever disrupting the water with her gliding movements and fluid motion. Her eyes blipped above the surface just the barest amount, at the far side of the pool. Yang squinted back. The girl dipped back below the surface, hidden from sight once again, save for a stream of playful bubbles floating to the surface. Yang smiled to herself, picking at her leather-hide shoes absently. There were bits of dried leaf stuck to them, and a particularly oblong-pebble had gotten stuck in the tread, but otherwise the boots were in great condition. It almost felt like another testament to how little she left the office...

A second bump to the elbow tonight, though this time, Yang wasn't caught with a wired, tense surprise. Instead, she lifted her arm, and Reinics' water-beaded head gently laid in her lap. Yang rested her elbow, petting Reinics' ears and taking a moment to check the flower upon her head. It did look like the berry was far more noticeable than it had been earlier; and far more like a berry that was filled with fluid, rather than hard like a gem! Yang didn't try to touch it, but she did lightly stroke a petal. Almost surprisingly, Reinic moved a little away with a soft snort- maybe the petals were more sensitive now, with a swollen berry in its center. Yang, filled with a warm, soft light of joy, carefully turned her body more towards the pond. With Reinics head in her lap, if anything were to come out, it would roll free into the water, rather than in her lap, or on the ground._____ 10 -done! Reinic: lvl. 6 [5/5] Yang: Lvl. 15 [19/20]
