If ever there was proof that the Ssashirk people are born of some draconic broodmother or another, than Badrani would be it. Her face is nearly entirely dragon-like, with sharp teeth and a thin but strong jaw. Her eyes are set back fairly far away from her softer-looking nose. She cuts a tall and slim shadow of a figure, with her dark brown scales with even darker brown markings across the back that are somewhat like that of a snake. Her underbelly is slightly paler than the rest of her form; as is her palms, the inside of her ears (of which are draconic in nature and hang out from her head in long scaled points), and the soles of her feet. Her eyes are ringed with darker brown, but shine out with bright blue irises and slitted pupils much like a cat. Her head is crested with two large horns above her long ears. Her entire body is scaled (as Ssashirk are wont to be), but nearly all of them are smooth. The only scales that stick up are on the edges of her shoulders and down his back along his spine and tail. These appear almost like mini lotuses, and are close to black in color. Her tail is long and stocky, like that of a crocodilian. She has long but thin talons on both her hands and feet at the tips of her phalanges. Her oddest features are perhaps the final two. She has a pearlescent white blotchy marking on her chest in the vague shape of a crescent moon- definitely brighter than her other markings (which are all dark brown- nearly black). She also has a bright crest of proto-feathers on her shoulders, where her neck connects to her body. Perhaps this belies some mixed ancestry in her background? Badrani usually forgoes shirts and shoes (which hardly if ever fit anyway) and simply wears baggy pants. Her pants are tied to her slender hips and waist with a silken rope, which is tied like a bow in the back. She has an ornately painted water-carrying jug made of a gourd that she refuses to leave anywhere, she keeps it tied to her side. It seems to be her prized possession beyond anything else. | Psychological Description Not much is known about Badrani. One would think that an individual of her age would have a past, and surely she does, but she refuses to speak about it. Quiet, a bit a-social but respectful, and high-minded, it would seem that at the very least she is an idealistic and imaginative person that seems to have been quite beat down by life. With little aspirations, and very little to her name, Badrani has come to the Labs City in hopes of an easy retirement. Badrani doesn't expect much out of the rest of her life- but on the way out of the desert (with a genetic sample for a very specific individual hidden on her person) she seems to have come upon the true purpose of her life... Her dreaming egg. Though she may have found her soul bond, she may find her love for life again too- and maybe find her soul mate in the process. Once she made it into the Labs City, Badrani trades the hard won genetic sample for a plot of land, a starter amount of credits, and some creatures... And the promise of magic. It is a good trade for an old soul looking to change the life that had been set out for her. Badrani loves the night time (daylight hurts her eyes), going swimming (look at all of the Manaah- so much that you can swim in it!), and a good cuddle- she seems to have lost a lot in her life. She is not as adventurous as she used to be, but perhaps after some time she will find some interest in exploring around the Labs and the Canyon of Eterra. With a lot of digging, one may find out that Badrani was, at one point, a priest of some sort. She refuses to speak about it, and information is few and far between.
