"I should probably start being that prepared," Sevyrn admitted sheepishly, acknowledging that she had, to some degree, been unprepared for what had happened. At least she'd had the wits to her to be able to handle it, though. It seemed to be that maybe she could learn a thing or two form Jack outside of the breeding center - for example, carry healing salve just in case. It could come in handy.
Sev was happy to see that Spot and Moonbeam were getting along well, though as Jack had observed the species had an inclination towards being pretty friendly, especially with the opposite sex. Like all species their genetics drove them to reproduce, after all - push their genes on to the next generation, ensure the survival of the species.
"Yeah, they're a pretty happy species from what I've seen. I guess they gotta be, they're pretty much created to work along side us, couldn't be too aggressive." She shrugged it off, watching Spot try to tear the rope away from his new friend. "It makes life a bit easier, anyways... I can live without dog fights."

"True. I mean, my aggressive Houluh aren't like Pliathor aggressive or anything, but they're still more apt to being guard Houluh than anything else," she said, motioning a little with her hands. She tended to talk with her hands sometimes when she was trying to think of the words she wanted, and this was one of those times it would seem. Jack chewed on her lip a little and leaned forward, elbows on her knees, she didn't know what to think of right now though, and that was fine, she could be content with silence for awhile.
Moonbeam shook her head a little and then let go of the rope, opening her mouth in a bit of a smile. She was having fun and wondered if the Patronne was as well. Tilting her head, she woofed low, wondering what they might do next. This was fun and all, but she knew what they were there for, even if he didn't.

"Guard houlou... I might have to rework my kennel, have a pup there guarding the entrance before anyone comes across my seeker." It was an interesting idea in theory for training a rougher pup up to be, yet Sevyrn had a seeker and sarane. As it was now no one got in there without her there because Osiris's charm required her presence, a trained pup would potentially make for a safer way to guard the kennel. Worst case a houlou bodyguard would probably make a good 'working' animal for the working salonne... maybe even the strength one. It was always an option, even if she wouldn't take it super seriously.
Spot mimicked the matronne's body language and then barked back at her before moving in playfully, reaching a paw out towards her and then leaping back. She seemed to be interested in something else but he couldn't figure out what... maybe if he cuddled up to her she would feel more friendly again?
So that he did - he moved in towards the female and muzzled his face against the side of her neck before giving her a friendly kick. Boy, it was really nice being this close to her.

"Oh that's a good idea, Seekers are rough," Jack agreed with a bit of a wince. She used to have more than one, but the one she had now was an offspring Primal who acted like a puppy more than anything at this point. Grinning a little, she thought about Demon and what she wanted from him, he was already mount trained, sort of, but it was fun to go riding on him when he kicked it into gear and started speeding along. "At least they're less likely to attack, but they will if they need to, you know?" Jack finished with a little smile.
Moonbeam seemed to like that and nuzzled him back before flicking her tail at him. This was fun, she liked playing with new Houluh, and she trotted off to get a ball, kicking it toward him as best as she could with a forepaw. Things were really working out it would seem.

"They definitely can be." If it wasn't for the fact that she had taken hers in as an egg, Sevyrn likely woyld never have had even one, let alone the three she had back when they had been babies... Yeah, two of them had been given to good homes rather quickly. Aggressive species were still beyond Sev's current capabilities, resuscitation, especially given that she had no interest in the fighting pit.
Spot seemed more interested in Moonbeam than playing now that he had gotten the chance to be so close to her - he had been caught off guard when she dashed away to start batting around a ball. It rolled towards him and he went nuts batting it it between his front paws before trying to return it to his new lady friend. As the ball rolled back towards Moonbeam he trotted along behind it offered her a couple more licks to the cheek as if to say 'thank you for being here with me'.

Jack nodded and watched the pair of Houluh as they played together. Moonbeam was startled when he licked at her cheek, but returned the affection with a nuzzle to his neck. The woman smiled a little and nodded toward them, "They're getting along well then, it's probably almost time for pups don't you think? You absolutely get first pick of the litter this time, since you let me last time, just wanted to make sure you knew." Giving her friend a happy look, she then looked up at the ceiling with a little yawn. Honestly she was getting a little tired, she'd been going so hard at everything lately it wasn't like she needed to keep going or anything. If anything, she needed a rest, but that wasn't going to happen.
Lacing her fingers behind her head, the woman closed her eyes for a few moments to rest for a bit, waiting for pups to arrive with her newest friend.
