Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

It had been a bit since she had been in a tournament, so she figured with a Hen Sarane one coming out, she might as well get some more experience in before the year was out. Not to mention she was eyeing something and needed more points... Giving a shrug and a chuckle, she eyed Yasmin as she was led into the arena. She had earned dominance before, back when she had run the Gauntlet, but... she had always gone for the eyes until they had undergone a little more training to get her out of that. Hopefully she would remember this training when things happened. Jack chewed on her lip and then shrugged and found her spot she usually stood in, wondering what was going to happen with this tournament. She didn't much care if they won or not, just that they were part of it, she supposed. This would be fine, they would make it out of here alive at least!

The last Sarane tournament had gone pretty well for Aster. Winning dominance for Aurelius wasn't really something he expected to happen, but there it was.
The concept of this new one... An all-Hen tournament promised to be interesting. He didn't have that much experience with the Hen side of the scene. Admittedly his own hens weren't trained very well in general. He had been working with Abelia, but, well... she wasn't grown yet, and anyway she had quite a ways to go.
Axchel, on the other hand, had been trained by someone else and then given back to Aster when she proved to be too much for the trainer to handle. She hissed at him sometimes, but not with the same violence as a third-tier hen. Aster could only hope that her training will hold.
As for whether he expected to win, well... He supposed he would save his speculation until after he saw what the competition was like.

- Yasmin can use all moves she knows
- Axchel can use all moves she knows
- Yasmin's Intimidation cuts Axchel's Strength and Dexterity in half, Yasmin goes first!

Right, though they both had the charm on them, it seemed as though the other Hen faltered a little. This was the best part, and she knew that other Hens would probably be intimidating as well, but for now it was going to be alright, she would handle that when it came down to it. Jack chewed on her lip before waving to the other owner and then called out to her Hen, "Rend, Yasmin!" Hopefully it would take down the other offspring Hen, but she wasn't sure what to do if it wouldn't at this point. At least this was entertaining though, she knew, it had some form of something about that. Nothing would get in between her and having a little fun, but at the moment that seemed a little barbaric. It had been some time since she had participated in a tournament, she knew, and the woman smiled a little, leaning against the railing as the Hen shot forward and aimed her claws at the other Hen.

Ah. Aster saw the way that Axchel flinched away from the other Hen, and knew that this was probably not going to be a very good run for her. He taught most of his own creatures to ignore those kinds of intimidation tactics, but part of the problem was that he didn't know how much of what he considered 'basic skills' had been imparted to Axchel.
Pity. Well, he supposed it was a good reminder to him about the importance of these skills. They were ubiquitous enough that sometimes he didn't even think about them, really.
"Gash," Aster said, though he doubted the hit would connect. These Sarane tournament fights were usually decided with one blow from either side, and he doubted this one would be any different. Axchel was too shaken to move with real speed. The opponent was coming for her, and Aster could only look grimly on as Axchel hissed, tail lashing.

Calculations
Yasmin uses Rend! Yasmin's Dexterity of 5 + 5 rolled by staff = 10 vs. the 2 Dexterity of Axchel Yasmin will deal the most damage possible! Yasmin's Strength of 5 + 6 damage of Rend = 11 damage 11 - 4 Resistance of Axchel = 7 Axchel's Stamina is now -1
While the Green marked offspring attempted a hit in on the Brown, she was no match and went down quickly. The Pit staff come out to tend to her wounds.
Results Yasmin gains 2 levels and Jack gains 5 pit prize points Axchel gains 1 level and Aster gains 3 pit prize points
