Morgan had to admit, Jupiter was a really cute name! Especially for a little spotty pup like that. "What s-sort of training plan do you have in mind for little Jupiter?" Morgan asks, finding theirself chilling out a bit with the clear subject having presented itself. "I have one t-that I'm working on at the moment myself, and several more I need to work with a-after." They added, aftering thinking for a moment. Valentine was a very cute houluh, all chocolate-colored with nice points.
Mink seemed very pleased with the way that the patronne responded to her, and she perks up her ears somewhat, allowing her tail to loosely wag slowly for a moment before speeding up to match that of the Patronne's as closely as she could manage it in response. The low woof was responded to with an undignified high pitched yip of excitement, and a playful 'leap' in the direction of the extended paw. She 'pounced' the spot just in front of the foot, purposefully missing the mark, and then she hops back. Mink waits with an excited wag of her tail for a response.
Morgan was always at least a little concerned about how Mink was going to take other houluh. She was so prissy! However, she seemed to be taking well to this one, thank goodness!

“Well up until now I’d never done anything specialized but I’m getting more confident working with Houlou now, so I’ve decided to try an agility specialty for Jupi,” Sevyrn explained to Morgan as she turned her head to look towards the two grown houlou with them. Spot looked utterly thrilled with his playmate, and seemed to be enjoying her company quite a bit - after she yipped back and pounced towards him his front end lowered to the ground. Bum in the air, his tail wagged before his paws pattered on the ground in front of him and then he hopped towards her in return. He landed in front of her and then rolled on to his back, looking up towards the pretty lady with what looked like the dopiest ‘smile’ a houlou could have.
“Put your tongue away!” Sevyrn teased her patronne, whose tongue was hanging out the side of his mouth in that moment. He looked at his human, scrambled back to his feet, and barked at Sevyrn like he knew that he was being chided. He had not a care in the world, though - Mink had (almost) all of his attention. Now that Spotty boy was so close to the matronne, he leaned in to sniff at her neck.
Sevyrn shook her head - Spot was definitely an interesting character. “What about you? This pup you’re working with, what are they like?”

The bespectacled human pushes their glasses further up their nose by applying their fore and middle fingers to the metallic nose bridge. No matter how many times they had frames made specifically to fit their face, it still managed to slip down their nose over the course of the day. "A-an agility specialty sounds excellent." Morgan punctuates the compliment with a nod. "Undoubtedly she will do quite well." Houluh tended to do incredibly well with agility for their ilk, but they were confident that this one would be especially good at it. The human glances down, watching as the houluh played. Mink was taking especially well to this Patronne, judging by the response she has whenever the spotted houluh takes her invitation to play.
She tries to keep up with the patronne, but is still altogether taken with surprise whenever the other houluh rolls on his back. She lolls her tongue out, ears ever so slightly perked (still weighted over with their own length and heft), and wags her tail as she looks down at him. Oh, it is obvious she is quite taken with him. She is quite tempted to give one of his ears a broad lick- and then the patronne got to his feet. She turns around, regarding her human with some amount of concern.
"Oh, it's okay m-Mink." Morgan gets out between chuckles.
She was caught quite off-guard when she was sniffed, but when she figured out what was going on Mink turned to sniff at the Patronne in turn.
Morgan gives a fond smile- thinking again about Valentine, turning back towards their guest. "Ah, v-Valentine is a sweetie. She's a bit on the bulky s-side for a houluh, and very clumsy for it. I d-dunno where she got it from. Her lineage t-tends to be on the lean side."

"I really am hoping so," Sevyrn returned. She truly did have high hopes for sweet little Jupi, but her tone betrayed her lack of confidence in herself. Ah - there was a first time for everything, though! The only way she would get more confident would be too push through the first couple times. Houlou were a rather smart kind, Jupiter would do just fine learning and adapting along side her. There was nothing to be worried about... right? Sometimes - often - her own anxiety would get the best of her.
The canines were quite happy with each other at least, it seemed - Spotty boy was having a wonderful time with his new playmate and becoming rather fond of her, especially as her demeanor grew friendlier with him. It would be quite a shame to have come all this way and have the chosen pair want nothing to do with each other, after all - Sevyrn was happy with how things were turning out. She kept a watchful eye on him as he found himself getting more and more excited about having the Matronne around. Her little sniff back left him feeling invited to get closer and he licked her in return, choosing the spot of fur just before her ear.
"You know what? I think the clumsy ones have quite a charm to them," Sevyrn admitted, doing her best to engage in the conversation. She wasn't kidding, at the least - the clumsy ones tended to have quite a character to them.

Confidence and the lack of it were two sides of one of the most peculiar coins of humanity, at least in Morgan's opinion. Despite their own ultimate lack of security in their own confidence, they still managed to produce a decent facsimile of it- perhaps due to their upbringing. Perhaps their actual lack of confidence was hidden by their persistent stutter. Said stutter had been expected to abate as they grew, but it never had. They were used to getting strange looks when they stuttered through a discussion of facets of science, despite being correct on the subject matter and otherwise confident in navigating the conversation. They were used to their own confidence issues enough to catch it in others.
They tilted their head slightly, flashing the quickest of reassuring smiles.
Morgan keeps an eye on Mink just in case something went horridly long at the last minute. Nothing like that had ever happened before of course, but Morgan was careful when it came to live coverings of animals anyway; animals could sometimes be less predictable than one would like. As it stood, Mink did not seem inclined to refuse the pretty spotted patronne. Whenever the patronne licks her, she begins to wag her tail in a loose set of arcs. She was obviously quite enamored with him. She turns towards the spotted boy, and aims an attempt of a lick towards the dark spot on his face.
Morgan nods in complete agreement. "I don't think Val will be winning any agility contests herself soon, b-but she is quite the sweetie. She's quite a-a-adorable whenever she steps on one of her long ears."

Sevyrn cared little for the idea of judging a person's capabilities based on something so benign as a stutter - to her all that said was that Morgan was likely an anxious person. It wasn't her place to pry or be disrespectful in any way, however, and she had no interest in acting that way. The basis of one's character could not be accurately judged by such things. "Her ears are that long?" Sevyrn couldn't help but giggle - in no way to mock the surely lovely pup, but because this houlou she had never met seemed to become more and more adorable to her with everything that Morgan had to say.
Across the room, Spot was quite happy with his lady of the day - she was a beautiful Matronne, that air of dignity about her seeming to cover a softer side that he was pleased to be able to see. Boundaries... well, sometimes they weren't his forte - it would have some as no surprise had his advances been rejected, but the Patronne's tail wagged at a excited yet not overly energetic pace as Mink returned the playful lick. Her gesture of affection brought him happiness, and in return he moved to try to rub his face against her cheek.
