- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle.
- Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves.
- That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification.
- That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Rapture was on fire! So were here opponents, come to think of it. The girl was straight off another win and she was feeling mighty good about herself, head held high and proud, a strutty stride to her walk. She eagerly walked with Ashe through the stalls and toward the Pit entrance, knowing that another hen lay beyond those doors. It was a strange thing, really. Hens didn't fight and bicker amongst each other as much as the drakes did. There were occasional squabbles over nesting grounds, but in general, two hens meeting didn't end in bloodshed. They left the silly fighting to the boys.
But maybe this fighting stuff wasn't so silly after all. This was the second time Rapture had been entered into a tournament and she was finding the fighting of it perfectly splendid.
Ashe released his hen into the Pit, saw her off properly, then turned on his heel and made his way to take his spot up above, where he could see and orchestrate her moves. He didnt see his opponent yet and that was okay. He and Inyala could have a moment to survey the land up here. The imp chattered happily, hoping that the hen would win again.
"Me too, Yala. Me too." but luck could only hold out so long.
If I had a heart, I could love you, If I had a voice, I would sing. After the night when I wake up, I'll see what tomorrow brings.

Another fight, another loss... But at least they were more than halfway through the number of fights they had left to go. Sarane tournaments were generally not exactly flooded with competitors, despite the popularity of the species, and this was a hen tournament. Maybe it was close-minded of him to think so, but he had honestly been surprised that it had gotten off the ground. There wasn't room for an untrained first tier brown, since the hens didn't get combatively territorial like the drakes did.
But even if she didn't need breaking, Axchel sure did do a good impression of a creature who might have some days. It had been a challenge to get her to the Pit today. She seemed as happy to be rid of him as he was to be rid of her when they finally got to the sands, and Aster could leave her to go up to the stands.
Ashe eyed the gorgeous hen that walked in, taking note of her pattern, and especially her tail. He knew from experience with this species that that tail meant there was poison somewhere in that hen, whether it was just a sting from the tail like a scorpion, or something else as well. He didn't want Rapture to get anywhere near that, to risk getting hit and then losing from being poisoned. If Rapture was going to lose, she would go down bloody and beaten. Not from a little nick like that. So Ashe decided they had better go all out from the start. He leaned forward a bit against the railing, Inyala shifting to accommodate Ashe's new position. Her tiny claws dug into the fabric of Ashe's shirt as she, too, admired the hen. Looked like she would be at home in a jungle somewhere, with the sun spots dancing across her hide.
"Matar! Incendiar!" Ashe called out to Rapture, deciding not to let the other hen get too comfy down there. Ashe liked to win fast and strong, it left less room for error that way.
Rapture leaped into action - and into the air. She aimed toward the other hen, meaning to pin her and set her on fire, as she did to her opponents these days, just as her father had done before her.
Aster sighed to see the hen that they would be going up against. A pure black, but second tier... That was unusual. Had he ever seen another hen like that? He didn't think so.
He could tell at a glance that this one was out of their league too. Disappointing, but not particularly surprising, giving the general trend of this tournament. It did make him a bit sad to be throwing Axchel to the wolves, essentially, but it was what it was, he supposed.
Axchel was somewhat cowed by this hen too, but she still made a show of bravado, hissing and flaring her wings. For all the good it did her, of course; the opponent wouldn't back down, not when they had an advantage to press.
Still, Axchel wasn't too terrified to move, and Aster knew he had to give a command too, just in case. "Axchel, gash!" he called out.

Morgan: I like the update overall.

Morgan: I'm legit so happy now that draconics will basically be able to communicate in draconic instead of being completely unable to communicate from birth unless classically trained or 7+ intelligence. It was so weird to try to do story breedings like that.

Jack: So for those of you not on the Discord, I would like to say I'm still around, just not as much. Had to quit my job to watch the kids, opened an Etsy shop, and I'm trying to just keep things rolling through my current bad depression.
