Pachee huh? Well, she'd asked for a breeding, and this is what she had gotten! Beaming a little to herself, she carried Blackbird through the city and toward the Breeding Center, she was excited to see her friend Fiera again after so long, the last time had been what, Houluh probably? If not that, then definitely Pachee, though it was hard to remember for her nowadays. Maybe it was because she hadn't been around anyone for too long, but it was nice to see things going for what it was.
At least she was getting out now, that had to count for something she supposed, and the woman smiled a little up at the light snow drifting down from the sky. At least it wasn't insanely cold out, though Blackbird was a little puffed up from the snow, but she was comfortable in her coat and hat. With the Breeding Center coming up quickly, she wondered if she would need to wait long for Fiera, or if she would already be there?

As it turned out, the answer was "wait a while", not because Fiera had any INTENTION of arriving late, but instead because she had no intention of arriving MESSY either. A long winter had left drifts of snow everywhere around the city, frequently covering up the sidewalks. Fiera may have been wearing snowboots yes, but they were designer and therefore she refused to get them dirty, regardless of what their advertised purpose was. She had to look nice for her breeding partners, regardless of how many times they had met before or how uncool they might suspect her of being. By the time she finally turned into the breeding center's front lot, she stopped to brush any stray snowflakes off, slicked her hair back, and strode forward as confidently as one could while holding a carrier full of fast asleep dead weight pachee. "Well hello there, Jack. Fancy meeting you here." She said, forgetting that she was the one that invited Jack here.

Looking around, the woman stroked Blackbird's fur for a bit as they waited, even though it was cold she didn't want to go inside just yet and make Fiera think she wasn't there yet. Truth be told the other woman would probably head inside though, but she wasn't quite sure. Eventually she saw her friend heading up, and she smiled a little at the greeting, amused if nothing else. Fiera was... Fiera, and she loved that about her. "Hey there! How've you been?" Jack asked with a smile, opening the door for her friend and the two Pachee. Blackbird jumped out of her arms and fluttered to the ground, waddling inside when he saw the door open, the woman wasn't moving fast enough for him and he was getting cold.
Jack laughed at his antics and shook her head after entering the Breeding Center, watching him stride up to the counter as though he was a weathered veteran.

Fiera strutted over to Jack agreeably, happily sashaying through the open doors and stepping into the warm embrace of the breeding center. She tried not to let it show how much of a relief it was to be back in the warm. It certainly seemed to wake up Sleeping Powder however (for once), who she could feel lazily shifting inside the carrier. That was good- Fiera kind of needed her to be awake for the breeding. "Oh, I've been fine. You know, busy as usual. It's a hard life." She said, thinking about how she really spent most of her winter napping. Cats didn't really like the cold, and she was no exception. She did her work of course, but other than that she was a sleepy kitty. She watched as Blackbird strolled up to the counter, following after the pachee. "Well it looks like at least one of them is eager to get things going, eh?"

Jack gave a laugh and a nod, "Yeah, he's been here before, but it was with someone else. Amazingly enough I wasn't the one to breed him first!" She smiled at her friend and started to fill out the paperwork for her and her male before passing it over to Fiera. She wasn't sure what to do about things right now, she wasn't sure what to talk about, and Pachee breedings certainly didn't take as long anymore it would seem, which was fine by her. It kept her from socializing too much though, which was a bit of a bummer. Blackbird chirped, the only Pachee with a beak, and then turned and peered into the carrier after a moment or two, paws reaching up for it to see inside. This was going to be interesting, he knew, but he wasn't sure what to expect from it all.
"I mean, points for enthusiasm," she said dryly, leaning on the counter.

Fiera took the paperwork, setting the carrier on the ground so Powder could look around a little. She could fly through it by this point- they never really changed the setup, so she barely had to look at it anymore. The receptionist seemed to have a problem with it when she passed it back though, squinting at Fiera's scrawlish handwriting to try and interpret it... only for Fiera to snap at them. "Hello! Could we have our room number please?" "Ah... eight." The receptionist replied, with only a bit of irritation. "Great! Excellent, thank you." Fiera said, reaching down for her carrier. Powder came up to the bars to look at Blackbird, sniffing eagerly... only to be snatched up, pulled beyond his reach. "Shall we go, then?" Fiera said, striding toward the doors, with Powder peeking through the bars back at the other pachee. He looked nice... she wondered if he was just as nice and soft to touch. That would be nice. She could take another nap on him.

Giving a little laugh, the woman nodded and trotted after Fiera, motioning for Blackbird to follow them all. He chirped and followed after them happily, keeping an eye on the carrier, and he wondered what this was going to be like. He hadn't seen any of the offspring from his last breeding, but that was alright he knew, Pachee weren't necessarily too attached to their offspring it would seem, even though it bothered Jack a little at that. She herself had inbred a few of them to get certain wings to pass on and all that, which hadn't had a bad effect on them. Slipping past her friend, Jack grinned and bowed slightly as she opened the door to room number eight and gestured for them all to enter ahead of her. She was sure Fiera would be pleased with that, she knew her friend well enough to know that much at least.

Fiera had to admit she minded inbreeding in her pets... though that was probably because she wasn't going for anything in particular. Still, the humanish giggled girlishly as Jack held the door for her again, and gave a gracious nod of the head. The breeding room looked the same as usual, with plenty of toys, soft soil, and leafy plants for the pachee to play around in. First things first however, Fiera removed the breeding berries from her purse and slipped them in for Powder. While the winged pachee was always quite sleepy, she still accepted the berries and ate them quickly. She supposed they must have smelled good enough to be completely irresistible. After that, Fiera let Sleeping Powder out to explore her environment. With her feet still a bit covered in berry juice, Powder took a few hesitant steps out... and then flopped over next to the nearest rock, getting ready to take a nap.

Blackbird chirped, amused at the antics of the female. He hadn't met another Pachee as sleepy as her, which was probably a good thing. As it was, he went forward and and poked at her side a little. Some of them were ticklish, was she?
Jack settled into a chair and crossed her ankles out in front of her, stretching out as far as she could go. Giving a little smile to her friend, she tilted her head and crossed her arms in front of her, "We should really do this more often I think. It's been awhile since I've done anything with people, really." Of course it was an invitation to do more things together, but that was fine if Fiera didn't want to do too much with her. They didn't have to do a lot together if she didn't want to after all. It was entirely up to her, but she would at least like to know.

As Blackbird poked at her, Powder couldn’t help but roll over, quivering with the closest thing pachee could get to a giggle. This guy was pretty funny- she had to admit, she liked him. She couldn’t help but bat back at him half heartedly, at least making something of an effort to play. Thankfully for pachee breedings, that was usually all it took to get the male to release some pollen and get the female to loosen up a little. Fiera was glad she had given Powder her berries alrea day, that was for sure.
“Oh, absolutely!” Fiera assured, sipping from her water bottle. “These lovely pachee aren’t going to breed themselves, after all.” She said with a wink. Then she thought about how easy it was to get pachee to breed with each other and, well.... “Perhaps that’s a good thing, though.” She said with a chuckle as their pairing wrapped up.
