The kennel staff shifted their footing back and forth, looking unbelievably guilty. "'m sorry for the interruption sir. But we have a...ah..ah asituationtoworkaround!" "Sorry?" "A situation, to work, around." the staff repeated, trying not to shake too badly while speaking. the fox didn't get it. "The water main for this floor of the building, as you're aware, has been broken for some time. And our funding from the city has finally started coming in for the repair." he nods along. "However." what was wrong with this creature person. "Due to the urgency of the project and the need to essentially tear out this entire floor to repair the main and the damaged piping, we...wehavetoaskeveryonetorelocateonthisfloorforthetimebeing!" "Slow down. I do not understand." "You have to leave." someone else in a uniform popped up, and gripped tight on the shaking one. "The whole of this kennel floor is to be essentially redone for all the piping. Go rent a hotel for a month or so. Its not just you, its three floors worth of the building. Good day."
Go figure he'd gone broke hitting the loomery for items for that smarmy one. So here Kristofor was again, buying credits with his quest points, card in hand. [buying 3qp of credits, 500c total]

Jolyne stared at the man for a moment as though he'd gone crazy, but then shook her head and reached out for his card, "Card? What do you want?"

The fox relaxed his standing stance a bit, reaching to hand out his card to the inquisitor. "Credits, the amount for three quest points, please." Its what he was here for, after all. Enough funds that his quest points could cover finding a new place to live. But the inquisitor didn't need to know that in specific. "Thank you in advance." He didn't want to waste too much of their time on his paltry request after all. The odd jobs of being an artist for hire didn't pay much, but not enough within the month to afford his lodging. Most of what he owned could be stored, but finding a place for himself and three active small pets. ...small. SMALL. The puppy would get larger, and he didn't know how big. If the houlou could get to the same height as he was when standing up on two legs, he'd have an issue. Maybe.

Jolyne snapped the card out of his hand and swiped it before handing it back and a pouch of credits. "There, anything else?" she asked, leaning on the counter, looking bored and annoyed.
