Boss Battles Bosses are powerful creatures who are found in the depths of the Labs, whether in the gardens or mines, or even in the Fighting Pit from time to time. You (and your friends!) may have the chance to fight them if you wish, but be warned, they're as tough as they seem.

Where to Find a Boss A Boss creature can be found anywhere! A quest will appear in the Fighting Pit from time to time, letting you know of a location one has been seen, along with a bit of general information. Mini-Bosses can also be found in the Fighting Pit, as long as one of the young of a Wild Boss has been sold back to the Pit. These Mini-Bosses will never be as powerful as their parent, but will be a force to reckon with as well.
Please note!
Until the quests are up and running, boss battles will be limited to specially raised pets brought to you by the fighting pit only! There will be an announcement once we catch word about any Bosses that might be found in the wilds!

Preparing to Fight You've come across a Boss creature and want to fight it, do you? If you think you have the ability to, feel free to try! Set up a thread in the area the quest has pointed you to and begin to roleplay, staff will inform you when you have come across the Boss creature.
If you are challenging a pet in the Fighting Pit, please post in the Boss Arena and specify which pet you are challenging!
Each Boss encounter can have up to 5 creatures fighting in a single thread, though each user may only have up to 3 of their own creature, which means if you want to have 5 allies fighting at once, you'll need to have a partner! Once you have encountered the Boss creature, post your creature's stats, including any training it has, and mark yourself as ready. It's time for the fun to begin!

How to Fight Each Boss fight is made up of 'rounds'. Each round is made up of all creatures using one move or ability each, though some may negate others, so be careful when you group yourself with others. Turns in each round are dictated by the creature's Dexterity, highest Dexterity goes first, next highest second, and so on, just like normal fights, only there are more to remember this time! In the case of multiple creatures having the same Dexterity, whoever posts first will go first. Boss battles function just like regular Fighting Pit battles, once everyone has posted, then a moderator will post the calculations of the round. Users have 72 hours from the time the moderator posted the results of the last round, if the user has not posted in that time frame, the boss will continue attacking and the user's animals will be considered to be standing still for the round, though any passive abilities will still come into play.

You Won! Now What? You and your friends beat that big bad boss! Congratulations! Now what do you do? If you're completing a boss quest, check the area, there may be some loot. In the chance you have found a nest, you can hatch your very own boss monster of that species! If there are extra eggs, however, than there are people in your party, the extras must be sold to the Fighting Pit for credits. They're asking this of everyone, so they may have them for mini-boss battles. Offspring from these bosses will never be up to par with their wild parents, but they'll still be pretty tough, be careful taking care of your new hatchlings!
Boss battles also award Pit Points! Rumor has it that the stronger your pet is, the less pit points you earn... Be sure to give yourself a challenge!
