Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Yang huffed as she stood in the stands, braced against a sudden upsweep of wind and squinting as clouds rolled above, letting the sun beat down and douse the pit with its light. A mash of weather for sure, she bitterly thought back to how she'd been hoping for the incoming spring weather to replace the chill of winter. Here it was, offering just enough winds to be uncomfortable and so much sunshine that if it were a lake, she'd be bobbing out in the middle of it without protection from the glare from all directions. The wind died a little though, and the clouds soften the light again. Yang sighed, hands fiddling in their pockets, looking on at the barren encapsulated circle of dirt. This was another fight after one of a few, and the apprehension that came with watching beasts tear into each other was faded. By now it was apparent that neither beasts showing up in the ring would be due for a 'finalized' demise, though the raw bone and torn flesh was still a gnarly experience to see, over and over and over again.
Yang spared her wrist a glance, the bio-tech flashing a soft-blue light as displayed numbers ticked ever onward. She wasn't sure what she preferred, her hand slipping back into the long coat and eyes wincing against another blast of winded sand. Was it better here, out in the sun and fresh air with the musk and aggression of animals, or confined to the labs, where the dim fluorescents were unending, and the flesh (until 'birthed' from the tubes) was unresponsive, pasty and without life?
It was about 50/50. [Ready]
