Seasons
Just like in the real world, there are four seasons here on site. This is a list of the various things around the site that are affected by the current season.
The seasons are (loosely) based on the Equinoxes and Solstices in the real world. Spring lasts from March 22 to June 21. Summer lasts from June 22 to September 21. Autumn lasts from September 22 to December 21. Winter lasts from December 22 to March 21.
Loot Areas with Seasons
What items you can find in the Gardens is influenced by the season. All of the items, creatures, and pocketpets you can find in the gardens will change each season. What creatures can be harvested also changes with the season.
Like the gardens, the River Below (and the River Bend) are also influenced by the current season. The River experiences two seasons each year: The 'Wet Season' in Spring and Summer, and the 'Dry Season' in Fall and Winter.
Seasonal Creatures
The following creatures are seasonal, and their images and stats will change through the seasons:
- Sapling Spriteling
- Leaf-Scatter
- Skutirut
- Branchaeopter
- Succulent Worm
- Whiptail Vinesnatcher
- Mr. Melty
In order to change your creature to the current season, simply change the number in the creature's image code. 1 for Spring, 2 for Summer, 3 for Fall, and 4 for Winter.
Your creature will have to use the current seasonal image and stats in order to be harvested or used in areas where a creature's full stats are required, such as the Fighting Pit or Contest Hall.
Seasonal Holidays
Vakrah - February
Associated Elements: Earth, Wind
Vakrah is said to be the season of love, where Dark showers the goddess of Harvest with gifts to show his undying love for her. It is customary for people to buy gifts for their loved ones to celebrate all kinds of love during the season.
During Vakrah, you can produce a Love Plush. It is also said that Orbaru are more fertile during the month of love.

March marks the anniversary of the foundation of the Labs. While this is not necessarily something celebrated by the average citizen, they like to make sure people don't forget by releasing a special creature or hosting an event.

Summer Solstice - June

With warm and sunny days ahead, everyone celebrates abundance and prosperity during Summer Solstice. Traditionally, this is the season of fairs, festivals, and trade.
The Contest Hall runs a special contest in celebration of the Summer Solstice.

All things Dark and terrifying come out during Vai Min Mur. A month long celebration of all things spooky, myserious, and misunderstood.
Some creatures use Dark's blessing in order to grow or reproduce during Vai Min Mur. The Hunter's Lodge also has some unique creatures available at this time. Finally, the Contest Hall runs a special contest in celebration of Vai Min Mur.

As days get shorter and colder, people gather together in their warm homes to celebrate togetherness, and welcome the end of the year and the promise of new beginnings.
The Contest Hall runs a special contest in celebration of the Winter Solstice. Dasher Equillion are also able to fly during Winter Solstice. Wow!

Addendum: Sarane Seasons
Sarane Tournaments are grouped into 3 longer 'seasons' of four months each, skipping 'Fall'. Spring season is from February 1 to May 31. Summer season is from June 1 to September 31. Winter season is from October 1 to January 31.
