This suggestion is for situations in which a player is using more than one beast in a battle, and all beasts have the same dexterity. In this case, I think the player character should be able to decide which of their beasts strike in what order per turn. This would better let the player strategize, and makes more sense as the character would likely yell commands in the order they wanted them followed. The player would list the creature moves/abilities chosen in the order they intended them to act. This might encourage using combos rather than each beast relying on a strong attack of their own to pummel the foe. Ally turn order would not be affected, as the characters likely are not turning to look at one another mid-combat to decide who should do what first.
Example of what it may look like if two owned critters, an ally, and an enemy have the same dex and the initiative roll splits the actions:

This is a bump as more than a week has passed.

Hello! Sorry we never responded to this. We're still working on the overhaul of the battle system, but rest assured that dexterity and turn order are being addressed as we realize that a lot of people aren't satisfied with things as they are now. However, we're still in the process of play testing and balancing these systems, so we don't want to give too many details or make promises about exactly features and mechanics as they may be changed later on. We did absolutely see this post though and took it into account!
