Alright, so his last attempt proved more foolhardy than not. But, this didn't discourage the leopard from trying again! And with more suitable combatants this time. Here he had the duo of balefire and ice. And their next target was a proper prey animal for the two wiurns to take down. And hopefully, his confidence would prove to serve him better. Alerios might not have been a champion, but he still fought well in its last battles. Nazura on the other hand... Was a rookie. But with the winder wyvern's wing to guide him, the stubborn oaf of a lizard would hopefully figure things out.

Stomper yawned and rubbed up against the Pit walls for a moment, scratching his side before turning and rumbling at the two Wiurn. He was not pleased.

Alright, they were as ready as they were going to be. The thundergug was a sizable foe, but it wasn't something two wiurn couldn't take down! Nazura was raring to go, a deep growl rumbling in his throat. Alerios on the other hand was calmer, but both waited for the leopard's call. [Freeze, Alé], the leopard told the white wiurn through thought, while calling out, "Take flight, Naz!" Alerios was far more attuned to fights than the flaming one was, but having both take more defensive stances would be the best to begin with, the leopard thought. Then they could work on whittling away at the 'gug at leisure.

The Thundergug dug at the ground for a moment before letting loose another bugle and then opening his mouth, aiming it at the fuzzy Wiurn as flames licked out of his mouth.

It seemed the thundergug wasn't planning on coming close to the wiurns, combating them at a distance with it's flaming breath. This was fine.. Yeah, they could handle this! Alerios was nimble to escape the heat while keeping cool - it wasn't looking to get burned up like before. Nazura, now in the air, had a lot more maneuverability to play with. Good. "Sting, Naz!", the man called out to the flaming wiurn. Hunting tactics just as if the 'gug was actual prey would stimulate the wiurn well. [Let's get close now, Alé. Pounce and svel!], Xentus commanded the white wiurn, urging it into closer range of their foe.

A bugle when he missed, that was no good, he would try again with his breath at the furry one. Opening his mouth, a gush of flames came forth again.

The wiurns both struck true! Unfortunately, Alerios was taking the brunt of the thundergug's aggression, but that was fine - it could take the beating. The white wiurn was spurred to sound a deep rumble of disdain as it reeled back from its foe's hot breath. [You're fine, Alé], the leopard assured it, keeping a close eye on the fight, [Do that again!] Nazura, on the other hand, seemed to get a good lash of its tail in against the 'gug while it was occupied with Alerios. "Grab it, Nazura!", the man commanded. The flaming wiurn honed in with it's clawed forearms, seeking to latch onto the thungergug and keep it restrained.

Though Nazura swooped in to try to hold down the beast, it seemed to be a little too unaccustomed to battle to get a good angle. The flaming dragon lifted itself higher into the air, circling out of the gug's range - leaving Alerios again to take the brunt of its attacks once again. "Again, Nazura! Come now, grab it!", the leopard commanded, a growl coming through in his voice. He didn't need Alerios taking to much of brunt of all the thundergug's attacks. {Am okay}, the wiurn told it's keeper, feeling his growing anxiety, {Again?}. [...Alright. Yes, once more, Alé. Keep at it], the leopard confirmed, doing his best to keep composed.

Enough was enough, he was tired of getting hit, and if this was what he needed to do, then he would get it done. Raising up, he crashed down to the ground, a great thundering blast echoing through the arena.
