It was time for a rematch. This time, Xentus changed up the plan. It was now a slightly better plan, but he was still playing a mighty dangerous game here attempting to challenge the dragon-hating bug. Sequinn hadn't quite forgiven the fire golem for all the burns it suffered, even though it healed up completely fine. And so the golem was out, and a battle-hardened mosca was now in. Mira was his champion pet! She hadn't yet seen any such thing as defeat and the leopard was looking to keep it that way. Even if their opponent was going to be over twice her size. Nothing they couldn't handle, right?

The little one seemed familiar when they entered, and Squishy narrowed his eyes as much as he could. This... was going to be weird.

He was a little nervous, but did his best to shrug it off. If Mira faltered here, that would be the end of this attempt. And with hope, Sequinn wouldn't get hurt from any kind of crossfire this time around. "Alright, Mira, remember your lessons", the leopard said aloud, "Take flight!" While the mosca could've likely used her speed and gotten off a quick hit, he wasn't going to risk immediate retaliation by the golossle. The mosca would need some breathing room first. Sequinn quite clearly remembered the overgrown insect and shrieked in fear, looking desperately for anything to avoid it's attention.

The large Golossle clicked angrily and skittered over toward the Faeron, eyes blood red and mindless as his horns descended.

With the mosca properly in the air, she was now properly able to fight. And with hope, evade whatever the golossle had to throw at her. The feline did seem quite frightened by the imposing, thorny insect unfortunately. She wasn't at her peak performance.. "Wing, Mira!", the leopard called out, "And now, Quinn, fire!" With her aerial advantage, the mosca beat down with all her might, sending gusts of wind down upon the golossle while the faeron offered an irresistible distraction. And with the giant bug to focused on the dragon, Sequinn was in prime position to blind it with a brilliant flash of light from her body.

The stirred up winds from the mosca's wings struck the oversized insect, though the beast hardly seemed bothered. No, it was far too fixated on Sequinn to do anything aside from try to attack the tiny dragon. And it seemed the faeron was able to disorient the bug in turn! So far, so good. Now they had to make the most of this time, it wouldn't be long before the thing snapped out of its daze and resumed its attempts to eliminate Quinn. "Again, Mira! Wing!", Xentus commanded, spurring Mira to attack again. Unfortunately, there wasn't much Sequinn could do now aside from continue to draw the bug's enmity, much to her dismay.

Another good hit by Mira! Though the bug wasn't downed just yet. It was resilient, and time was ticking away until it would be able to retaliate. "Keep going, Mira! Wing!", the leopard urged, desperation coming through in his voice, "Quinn you do well too! Just. Ah. Stay there!" He knew trying to get the faeron to do anything else was moot at this point, but he still wanted to keep it included. The dragon perked up just for a moment when the leopard called its name, but otherwise seemed to be quite lost here. What could it even do!
