It was a surprisingly fun challenge to take on the beasts of the pit. Nerve wracking, but there was a good sense of accomplishment that came with overcoming a monstrous bug or beefy thundergug. The next challenge the leopard wanted to take on? A pliathor. A big one. Well yes, they were all big, but this one was supposed to be exceptionally so. A chuckle escaped the leopard's throat as he thought of his own serpentine companion. Basantai was probably bigger. There was always a bigger fish. Unfortunately, the fluffy serpent wasn't quite ready to participate in pit fights. Instead, Xentus brought with him companions familiar to this place. A team of dragons - though one was exceptionally small. He was a little wary about bringing not-so water-loving wiurns to this kind of setting.. But as long as they stayed out of the drink, they'd be fine!

The little thing didn't even appear on her radar as her head broke the surface of the water. Narrowing her eyes, she roared her defiance against the invaders. They would not win!

There it was, the sea serpent rose from the water to meet them, greeting with a roar. Xentus drew in a breath and steadied himself, trying his best to pass a calmed mindset to Nazura and Alerios. The flaming wiurn in particular was extremely uncertain what to do here. It still wasn't very battle-hardened. That would come with time and experience, hopefully.. Sequinn, on the other hand, was frightened as ever to be facing giant monsters. Hopefully this wouldn't be too traumatizing an ordeal for the little thing.. "Take flight, Nazura, Alerios!", the leopard called out his command to the wiurns, prompting both into the air and away from the water. "Quinn, flash!", Xentus then asked of the faeron, urging it to act through its fear.

Squirt reared back and opened her mouth, letting out a bone chilling screech that shook the very core of the Pit. She narrowed her many eyes and stared at them, defiantly, hoping it would take effect on at least one of them, if not all!

And just as the team of dragons were commanded to act, the pliathor released a disorienting scream into the air, making even the normally steadfast leopard cover his ears and wince. Not good. None of them could move. Thinking was difficult, with the residual ring remaining in the ears. A growl escaped the man as he brought himself back to steadiness. [Are you alright, Alé?], he mentally asked the furred wiurn. A strained affirmation came through their link. "Try again, Alerios, Nazura", the leopard said aloud, finding it easier to speak as the seconds passed, "Take flight!"
The poor faeron was probably rocked the most by the pliathor's call, frightened nearly out of its scales. "You're alright, Quinn!", the leopard did his best to reassure the tiny dragon, "Flash!"

Ha, they were scared stiff it would seem! Squirt took a brief moment to feel good about herself before launching herself at the gleaming Faeron, jaws open wide, to see how badly she could hurt him.

The massive serpent took this prime opportunity to strike, going for the smallest of the dragons with its toothy jaws. While normally this would mean doom for the bite-sized snack, the faeron was exceptionally nimble, able to avoid those gnashing teeth. The little dragon did its job, just as the leopard had hoped for. And now! With their momentary fright past them, it was time to properly spring into action! Both of the wiurns spread their wings and took to the air, leaving the faeron to fend for itself down below. A suitable arrangement, as odd as it might look. With the faeron drawing the pliathor's aggression, it could deliver a blinding flash directly to the face! Xentus was pleased with this. Now, to retaliate! "Nazura, sting it!", the man called to the flaming wiurn, then turned his attention to the furred one. [Ale, svel.]

The bright flash of light from the faeron opened up an excellent opportunity for the wiurns to make their move. With the sea serpent dazed, Alerios honed in to release a frigid stream of wintery wind from his jaws, freezing the moist scales of the pliathor. The attack seemed exceptionally potent - water turned to ice in an instant had to really sting. And with that, the flaming wiurn swooped in to deliver a venomous sting, hitting his mark with ease. That looked like one terrifying combination. "Again, Alé, Nazura!", the leopard called to the duo of wyverns, "Svel, Alé! Sting, Naz!" A repeat of their attacks was the best option here. And with hope, the two would again strike true. Meanwhile, it seemed little Sequinn was forgotten from the action. Not that she wanted any part of it. She did her job here!
