Rising out from the center of the Court is a tall, old Keep. It looks as if it has seen better days, with weathering chipping away at its stones and towers, but some recent reconstruction has attempted to bring it back to rights. You can make out some faded lettering above the entrance that proclaims it "Aerial Keep". Chipped murals of various flying creatures spiral out from either side of the doors, circling around each other in a broken, fading dance around the base of the keep.
The Aerial Keep is an old building with a rich history. For now, it seems as if it's being repurposed for more modern uses. Be careful to stay in the reconstructed areas only. Unless, of course, you'd like to help out.
[Artisan] It seems that restoration efforts for the Keep have started on the inside rather than outside. The entrance has been swept, old curtains and paintings are piled up nearly off to the side to take care of later. They could probably use someone to sort through the fabric and the artwork to see what can be salvaged and what should be thrown away.
[Artisan] There's a staircase leading up, further into the keeps, but it's currently roped off with a sign "Danger- loose stones". It seems that the staircase itself needs some work. Perhaps someone skilled in masonry could lend them a helping hand.
[Combat] Further into the keep, you come across what looks like it used to be a ballroom. It has since been converted into a fairly modern-looking gym with just about anything you could image needing. Weights, treadmills, standing bikes, yoga matts, even some gymnastics equipment. There's also sparring areas off to the side, safely away from the rest of the exercise equipment. Whatever personal training or combat skills you'd like to develop, your needs will likely be met here. You may even rent basic equipment for use in the sparring area.
Indoor Shooting Range
[Marksmanship] As you walk through the gym, you notice large, ornate double doors that lead to another area. As you enter, you realize that you were mistaken before. That gym must have been some sort of reception area, clearly THIS was the ballroom. Apparently having an outdoor range wasn't enough, this room has been converted into a full indoor range for any sort of ranged weapon you can imagine. You may rent weapons and ammo here.
[Marksmanship] Back in the gym, there's a set of glass double doors that lead out to what was once some pleasure gardens, now converted into an outdoor archery set. While the indoor arena focuses more on precision and marksmanship in a controlled environment, out here you'll see the perfect equipment and set-up for more challenging or flamboyant exercises. If you'd like to practice trick shots, environmental hazards, or anything else you can image, this is the place to do it. Large, solid walls of many layers surround these gardens to keep any stray shots from harming anyone outside the area.
[Botany] As you wander the grounds, you notice that there are plenty of areas that aren't as well maintained as the active gym and training areas. There are many small gardens, ponds, and various other hidden treasures around the Keep. Perhaps, if you have some spare time and a green thumb, you could coax some life back into the rose bushes. Maybe you could even persuade the vines to stop trying to strangle their neighbors and to grow calmly up the trellises. If you look hard enough, you might even find some fruit trees in dire need of some TLC.
[Survival] The further you get into the grounds, the more wild your surroundings become. You're pretty sure you can see places where water fountains have been overrun, a pool has been filled in, and animals have started making their homes in various hidden outbuildings around here. In fact, it might be an excellent opportunity for you to do a little exploring of your own. Who knows what you might find if you follow that set of tracks past the crumbling stone wall or try and climb that tall tree to see how far the grounds go? Just be careful. You might be camping for a while if you get lost in the maze.

Twilight-Claw: The jewelry on tail or at the head definitely tends to be their most recognizable feature for a Mosca, and sadly their pharaoh chin piece as well. XD

Zenjesi: Your peanut costume is hilarious and adorable too!
Nov 13, 2023 15:14:29 GMT -6

Twilight-Claw: It still looks good on Synkka. She is a shaman Mosca I'm guessing? Its mostly the tail that makes me think of it.
Nov 13, 2023 15:00:42 GMT -6
Zenjesi: I definitely like Spectral's the most too! I sort of cheated by drawing Synkka with a cloak because I do not know how to draw feathered wings, haha ^^'

Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that compliment! Though I know with the water it doesn't look entirely great, I love the latter one I made the most.
