Mori had seen Kadin do this loads of times. She knew what she was doing. She would have no problems with any quest she needed to do. She... she knew what she was doing. Mori walked up to the quest board and stared at it. She knew what she was doing. This would be fine. She rustled through the papers, looking for one that seemed a good first quest to do on her own. It was all made more difficult with the ohou she was holding in her arms, but she worked around the pup until she found a poster that looking likely for what she wanted. She pulled down the poster, reading over the instructions for taking care of the pet. With a sigh, she tucked it away into her pocket and looked down at her ohou. "We'd better get going now, hm? We have a lot of work ahead of us."

They made their way to the home without any real problems. Mori knew where she was going already, having helped Kadin with quests in this area before. She wasn't worried about losing her way at all, but she was worried about possibly of not being able to perform the job correctly once she was there. She knew what she needed to do, but knowing it and doing it was always a very different thing. With a big sigh, she knocked on the door, hoping that once they were in there everything would be ok. Mori waited, shifting from side to side with the ohou in her arms, waiting to see what would happen and when the owner would come to the door so that she could talk to her about doing the job that she needed done. She hoped that everything would go smoothly with swapping over so that they could begin.

Eventually the woman did come to the door, looking curiously at Mori once she opened the door. "Hello?" She asked. "How can I help you?"
Mori smiled, shifting her hold on the young ohou before answering. "I'm here to answer this ad." She said, offering the document to the woman as an explanation. She shifted quietly, trying to keep still while the woman looked over her own document, eventually nodding and smiling down at Mori as if she were a young child who'd just done something sweet.
"Of course, of course! Come on in, darling, my precious is right this way!" Mori hesitated only a moment as the door was opened for her. She didn't particularly liked how this woman was talking to her, but she was too unused to her new form to really do anything about it for now. Keeping her sigh internal, she accepted the offer and went inside.

Mori looked around the house, finding it much the same as she'd found it before, and the giant PHIL in the corner was just the same. No one seemed to recognize her at all, not since her transformation, and none of these seemed to be an exception. She made her way further inside, pausing and nodding when the woman told her to follow her along and she'd show her all she needed to know about taking care of her precious pet. Mori held back another sigh as she followed along, taking not of anything the women told her since she wanted to do this job to the best of her ability. She noted where all of the food was and head some weird comments about how much food there was to feed, as if the woman wanted to make sure she knew exactly how much food the PHIL should be eating.

And not a drop more. Mori nodded along for all of this, taking it extremely well while, internally, she was wondering what the hell all of this nitpicky stuff was coming from. The lady hadn't been like this when Kadin had taken the job. But it wasn't on her to try and argue with the lady or to get her to stop talking at all so she just kept nodding through it until the woman seemed to finally run out of steam and sort of stood there, looking around, as if confused herself why she had gone on for so long. Mori waited for a bit to see if she would say anything else about it, but after a bit with nothing forthcoming, Mori carefully said, "Is there anything else I need to know? If not, I think that I have everything I need. I can take care of your PHIL just fine."

The lady seemed to definitely pause at that one, looking and staring at Mori as if she was lost or crazy for a moment. Then, all of a sudden, she said, "Yes! Yes of course, I don't have any more instructions for you. It's just.... take care of my darling, won't you? I'm sure you will, I've just had some rather... strange sorts watching her, lately, a woman can't help but be nervous!"
Mori smiled a bit, nodding, trying to be as understanding as possible while hoping that this woman would leave sooner rather than later. "Yes, of course. Everything will be fine. I'll take care of it, I promise." And she quietly, carefully, walked the woman to the door so that she could finally leave and Mori could take care of the PHIL all the easier. Then once that was all over she could get out of here entirely and get paid!

Once the woman left and Mori was stuck alone with the PHIL, she was suddenly so relieved. It was so stressful when there were other humanoids around, she didn't want to be in her presence any longer than she needed to be. Now that she was gone, Mori could get around to taking care of the damn PHIL and her ohou in peace. It didn't hurt that she was doing it here in a nice house with plenty of food and everything she could possibly needed to take care of them all. She almost wished that she had a house like this, really, it would be so nice to have a place like this all her own where she could take care of her creatures at her leisure. Maybe if she got enough of these jobs done she would be able to do just that, taking care of all of her pets in her own house.

She went into the kitchen to prepare food for all of them. She paid especially close attention to the food she gave to the PHIL. After all of the attention that the woman had given to them, she especially didn't want to mess this one up. She measured out everything that they would need very carefully so that she wouldn't mess anything up with feeding the PHIL. She set out the food, allowing the big beast to snuffled at it for a bit before she finally started to dig in with vigor. Then Mori could relax and set out some food for her ohou, too, from what the woman said she was allowed to access. She didn't want to overstep here, either, so she made sure to measure out that food very carefully, too. She really didn't want to get in trouble with any of this, since it was her first job.

Once everything was all squared away with food for the creatures, Mori next made her way to check out the refrigerator. The woman had left food aside that she was allowed to each, too, so she wanted to prepare something for herself from what was available. It was mostly vegetables, it looked like, which was perfectly fine with her, honestly. She rustled through until she found something appetizing and put it all together in a bowl to eat herself. She'd need to clean all of this up afterwards, too, which she was less looking forward to, but no one had died yet so she would consider this whole job thing a success so far. She watched as the pets ate, chewing her own food quietly as they peacefully coexisted. Mori really wouldn't mind if something like this was her life. She'd be more than happy to have it be her's. She just needed to get there.

She watched as they finished up their food. Even as the PHIL had so much more to eat, it was able to finish it all first. Mori watched as it licked out the bowl and then shuffled slowly to her ohou. Mori paused in her own eating, watching carefully. She didn't want to have to intercede, but if the PHIL did anything to try to harm her pet she would take action as she needed to. Luckily, it seemed that she wouldn't have to do anything this time. The PHIL sniffed at the ohou and licked it a bit, but it didn't do anything to hurt the puppy. Instead it flopped down to the ground and seemed perfectly content with just watching the puppy eat. Mori relaxed and could finally focus on her own food again. She was able to relax from there, trusting the PHIL a little bit that it wouldn't harm them.
