Nerius really hoped he wouldn't have to transport any live fish this time. It had been a successful trade, but live, waterbound creatures weren't the easiest to transport. Though he'd left anything live at home this time, he had brought a rather eclectic selection of items this month. Which absolutely wasn't a result of his Mansion item store getting low.
He could feel the thrum of the crystals even before he entered the shop, it was early in the month, and there were, presumably multiple in stock. Though it could have been someone's inbound trade, not everyone horded magic, Nerius supposed. He on the other hand, was in the market for more, and took out a selection of gems. "Would these be an acceptable trade for a tainted crystal?"
Nerius usually had a one track mind when it came to the crystal trades, but this time, as he was setting out his offer, something else also caught his eye. A sharp, curved fossil, clearly some kind of claw. Not his usual fare, but he had brought more than just gems, and he added an assortment of mansion items beside the gems. "And these for the claw?"

The trader glanced over the gems offered for the crystal, then nodded and took them from the counter, smoothly placing a tainted crystal in the vacated space. But quickly after that first question, came a second offer. With a brief nod, the trader performed the same action, turning the mansion items into a single fossilized claw.
