His recent outing with Dawson to meet the catfolk and his own houlou gave Kristofor a post-guilty feeling of not spending enough time with Darwin. Granted, he's kept himself plenty entertained with harassing the tailypo when she felt like ignoring him. With the impending prospect of a new puppy in the aboveground den, he doesn't want to dedicate all the time towards that one and ignore Dawson's firstborn. It sounds SO weird in his head to still try and wrap his mind around male animals still being able to have pups with male animals but... Frogs can do the same thing. Dog-frogs. Yes. He can go with that idea. With a small handful of meat treats, the fox has to wrestle the unruly puppy into a leash so he can take him outside without the impending runaway. Dawson knows better then to run away BUT that doesn't mean he REMEMBERS that. However, there is someone in the city who does short sessions of socialization for any creature you bring. So here he was, with Darwin distractedly trying to chew his leash in half to go cause trouble with the local pigeons. "One outing for my houlou pup please. This is Darwin. He does not like being on a leash, so I don't recommend nylon." He's chewed through two. Putting his card on the counter, because they'll need it. Jolyne couldn't help but lean back at the sight of the houluh in her store. It wasn't that she didn't like animals- it was more that animals didn't like her. She was half expecting it to leap at her, snapping its jaws. She just had that kind of effect on creatures. For now though, it seemed more interested in its leash than her. "Sure, I can pencil you in for it." She said, quickly scanning the card.
