Another month, another visit to the trader's... Although Briar was being sent unusually late in the month this time around, on the last possible day. Something must have been going on behind closed doors in the mansion, but Briar didn't know what it was, and after what had happened last time, he was a lot more wary about eavesdropping or sneaking around the premises. Which was the point of what Noa had done, but it was beyond his means to circumvent it. It was also fish this time. Again. Briar tried to remain impassive as he transported them, but he never did become comfortable with the process when he was trading away things that were so obviously still alive. Best to make it quick. It was at least a familiar process. He entered the establishment, placed his offerings in their little bowls on the counter, and signed, -I'm looking for a Tainted Crystal.- Trading: for Tainted Crystal x1

It was easy to wonder what the Trader saw in all of these fish from the river. Whatever he did with them, it would have to remain a mystery to the citizens of the city. He was not a man of many words.
"Yes," he said with a nod. He plucked a tainted crystal from one of the piles and placed it on the table. He made a hand motion to Indicate that Briar could leave, now.
