Seeing an opportunity, Mango gave the order- "Mango, charge!" She called out, and to his credit, Mango did, bounding forward with horns down. He crashed against the golem with an echoing clang... and pulled back to see the creature was entirely fine. Its diamond hide was entirely untouched, with not even a scratch on it. Both Fiera and Mango stared at it for a moment, puzzled. That was all the time the golem needed to slam another fist into Mango's chest, making him stumble back further. "Right. Well. I won't try that one again." Fiera said to herself, cringing at the sight.

The Repointe came charging in at full force, and Nina was surprised to see him practically bounce off Laputa's crystal hide. It seemed like a shockingly straightforward move from an opponent who had been acting so oddly just a moment ago. Nina concluded that she had no idea what this opponent was up to, and that made them dangerous. There was something going on here, pointless charging aside.
"Laputa, stay close!" Nina called out. If she couldn't figure out her opponent's strategy, then she would just have to keep punching him and hoping for the best. What else could she possibly do?

Man, that poison really wasn't doing much damage. Fiera had given Mango an acid injection which granted him this control over acid. It had its uses, giving him the ability to weaken his opponent, but actually damaging them? It wasn't doing much... but considering that charging at the golem had done nothing at all, Fiera supposed it was better than nothing. Still, drooling over his foe might be more effective. "Mango, poison!" Fiera called, and the repointe dashed in with another swipe of his tines, leaving another hissing scratch on the golem's crystalline hide. A shallow blow, but one that would last.

After a particularly ineffective body slam, the Repointe followed it up with a splash of poison from his horns. Nina was quite worried as Laputa stumbled back and missed her punch. The poison was weakening her at an alarming rate. It was always difficult for Nina to see her take damage since it happened so rarely. This was a fight, of course, but it would always tug on her heart to see one of her beloved creatures harmed.
"Shake it off!" Nina called out. There was no time to dwell on things now. She had to strike back before the poison completely overwhelmed her.
