Things had been quiet for a while, but now that the weather was warming up, apparently whatever schemes Noa was working on had begun turning their gears once more. Whatever he was doing, it always seemed to require more magic crystals, so Briar wasn't at all surprised to find himself being sent to the trader again.
He never liked it when he had to take fish with him. A small mercy that it was only the two, this time. At least the road there was familiar, and he didn't have to speak much. Compared to when he had to go down to the mining supply shop instead, with all the stone evaluation involved and all the back and forth that required, this was vastly preferable.
Once he reached the shop, he approached the counter, and left what he had to offer on it. -This, for a magic crystal,- he signed.

The trader looked over the items offered. Just two, but they were very finely collected. Not a single leaf on the glasspane kelp had been damaged, and the roundnose seemed to be in fine health. He was happy to trade them for one of his wind crystals.
