Jack just wondered what the point of the Mansion really was. Did anyone really mind that people wandered around in the building and on the grounds, taking whatever they found? Jack felt a little bad at some point, but didn't know what else to do at the moment. Whatever happened, she figured she would keep at it until someone told her otherwise. Of course she didn't think that was going to happen, but until then, she would stay the course. Sighing a little, she glanced back at the little pup, the little snow covered pup, both literally and figuratively, and all was fine again. She loved Snow, she knew she did, but it was bothersome that he didn't really like her all that much either for whatever reason. Maybe she should have played with him more as a baby, it was the best part and all that, but she figured she would change that with the others.

All she knew about was that she needed to find a few things at the same time, all she had to do was keep up with Snow and then things would be fine! Jack grinned a little and then wondered what Snow was going to do for a little while, unhooking the leash and watching him as he took off in the maze. Maybe it wasn't the best idea, but he came back pretty quickly with another something, a little die that glowed a bit in the light. It was orange and blue and all that, and she hoped that this would mean something interesting. Whatever happened, at least he was getting better around her and all that, but things weren't going to be bad or anything. Jack pushed her hat back and her hair back a little with her new mittens, hoping that things would be good in all the end of it.

Snow didn't know why he had brought that back to the woman, but things were going to be alright as long as he remembered that he didn't like the woman any and that was fine. He snorted and fell into step beside her, wondering what was going to happen between the two of them at the moment as well. All she was going to do was figure out what was wrong with himself and then he would be fine as well. Jack was just bored with it all and she wasn't sure what was going to happen as well and that. Whatever happened, she wasn't sure what was going to happen between them and all that, and it was going to be fine. She just needed to fall back on Snow's training, it was simple, just the basics for now, but that would change after a little while at the same time.

Snow was with her again this month, and she knew it was going to be interesting to get things done so far. She needed to get him to get a little more experience with things, but she wasn’t sure if this was still the best place to do that or not. Jack shrugged a little and shook her head, unsure of what to do at the moment, but at least she was a little more prepared this month than last month, though last month had been lovely. This month was much more… prim and proper it seemed, though very old at the same time. Maybe it was for the best, but she didn’t know right now, and that was fine. Giving the pup a smile as he sat at her feet, she then pushed open the gate to the yard of the Mansion and wandered in, tugging lightly on the leash behind her. While she wasn’t sure what to expect from the place this month, she knew it had to be something good at least, or so she was sure about at this point.

The Mansion looked large and old, and she wasn’t sure what to do with it. Smiling down at the pup, she patted his head as he walked next to her and she hoped that things would work out between them in the long run. Hopefully she wouldn’t have to worry about it too much, and that was going to be fine, and she just wondered if they would find anything good this time. There were rumors of strange animals wandering the Mansion this time of year, though it was different than last year if the rumors held true. Had things finally gone well with the Mansion now? She wasn’t sure, and that was fine at the same time. As long as she got something good out of it no matter what she was sure, since she was getting Snow used to things right now, right? Whatever happened, as long as that occurred then she would be fine for now.

February was always a strange month, there wasn’t much going on, but it was always the month of love for whatever reason. It had something to do for… well… she wasn’t sure right now. Jack sighed a little bit and that was fine for now, and she shook her head a little as she looked down at Snow who was sniffing around the ground and growling every now and then. He’d calmed down a little even though he was still a little aggressive, but at least he was a little easier to handle for now. Giving a shake of her head, she didn’t know what to do with him, but that was fine at the same time. All she knew was that things were going to work out in the long run, she would get him bred to another Houluh sometime after getting him his title of Patronne when he was shown, but other than that she didn’t know about any plans for him, sadly. It wasn’t like they were Sarane, who could help to protect if they needed to.

Tugging lightly on the leash again, she smiled a little and started toward the Mansion once more. Snow resisted for a moment or two before following her a little, still sniffing at the ground, wondering where things were and what they might find. The time they had spent the month before was interesting, and now he was interested in what the Mansion might hold, there were interesting smells as well, sweet ones and things like that, and he hoped that everything would be fine. Maybe something would happen well whenever things worked out in the long run, and the woman smiled down at him and patted him on the head as they walked up to the front porch of the Mansion. She would be lying if she said or thought she knew what to expect from the building this time, but that was fine at the same time. It added a bit of an air of mystery, and that was the best part.

As long as they found some things and Snow got a little experience, everything would be fine! Jack smiled a little and knocked on the door, hearing it creak open when she touched it. Of course no one was there, was anyone ever there anyway? Still though, she felt it was polite to do so, and so she did. Snow sniffed at the entrance to the building and she chuckled a little bit, wondering what they were going to get to after awhile. Hopefully they would find a few things and not have to venture in too far, but she wasn’t going to hold her breath. Smiling, she strode forward with the leash in her hand and her other hand taking off her stocking cap and sticking it into her bag. Jack mussed up her hair a little and sighed as she glanced around, wondering what all the cobwebs were there for. Surely other people had been here for a bit, right?

Snow just wasn’t sure what to do at the moment, there were some interesting, sweet smells, but he didn’t think he could eat any of what he smelled. He knew better than to eat what he was fed, the woman and the TROD had made sure of that when all the animals were younger. It was part of something at the same time and all that, and the woman smiled down at him a little bit without a doubt no matter what. If they needed to figure out what they needed to do, then she could always just wander with the pup no matter what, and just be careful of what was going to happen at the moment. Jack looked around for a bit, seeing a few candy jars on a nearby entryway table, and took a small handful so she had something to snack on throughout the Mansion. At least they were considerate she guessed.

Whatever the candies were made of, they were pretty good so far! Jack figured they were just sugar and flavoring, but whatever worked, worked, she supposed. Giving a little chuckle as she sucked on the candy, she watched Snow explore around the room for a little bit before starting to go through the area herself as well. There was a hint of something watching her, and while she didn’t know what it was, it bothered her as well. All she could do was wonder what she was going to do at the moment, and that was fine as well. Whatever happened would happen, and she just hoped she would get something good from the Mansion this month, it just made sense didn’t it? Jack smiled a little and glanced under the table, even eyeing the underside of it to see if anything was stuck there. She definitely knew some of the tricks that could be used.

As she looked and felt around on the underside of the table, Snow pulled at the leash a little to go to the opposite side of the room. Jack frowned a bit and then finally unclipped the leash from his collar, attempting to trust him a little rather than keep him locked up all the time. It was the least she could do, she knew he would come when called and all that, and she just hoped that he wasn’t going to forget his training anytime soon. Pushing her hair back, she opened the drawer to the table and looked around in there as well, feeling for hidden switches or panels at the same time. It was what she expected from the Mansion of course, but she didn’t know what else to do right now. Maybe it was best to just sit there and wait for things to come to her, they seemed to gravitate toward people after all, but that just didn’t make sense to her.

All she knew, she figured as she glanced over at Snow who was gnawing on some furniture, was that maybe she should be working with the Houluh some more. She snapped at him a little and he bolted upright and looked at her a little guiltily. He didn’t know what he’d done wrong, well he did, but he wasn’t going to admit that to her anytime soon. Jack gave a sigh and pointed to the leash, signaling he would be leashed again if he kept doing bad things, and he sighed a little and laid down where he was for the moment, just to see if he could stay out of trouble. That was going to be the hardest part he was sure, but that was fine at the same time. All she could do was keep him from going completely crazy and that was the best she could do for now. Nodding, she turned back to the table, feeling like something was kind of off about it but she wasn’t exactly sure what it was.

Snow was bored, which was never a good thing. He was the trouble making Houluh for the woman, and she sighed. Him and Heathen together were just bad news, and she hoped that things would calm down a little once he grew up with his Patronne title and maybe threw a litter of pups. Speaking of, she was surprised no one wanted the pup she and… Morgan… had bred, but that was fine, maybe she would go for it after the waiting period was over, that one looked a lot like Nico after all. She glanced over at Snow for a bit and smiled a little no matter what, but she wasn’t sure what to do with him. What kind of pups would he throw, anyway? She hoped they would turn out well, but it also depended on what the Matronne looked like at the same time. Hopefully she would find something good, but she wasn’t going to trust things too much just yet.
