Daksha sighed deeply as she approached the hot springs. This was tucked away in the mountain and not too many dragons used thus place. She knew she wasn't the only one, of course - if her family knew of it, then surely others did, because it wasn't private. But it wasn't crowded and she normally got hee favored spot. The day had been rougher than usual, spent helping her father get the Imu up and running, and today she spent some time digging and moving rocks and her muscles were sore. She approached her favorite spot, a pool she felt was warmer than the rest. She stuck a front leg in to test it, then slid herself in. Suppressing a groan as the heated water seeped into her muscles, loosening them, feeling almost as good as a massage. She closed her eyes and let herself float there, just eyes, nose, and horns above the surface. She was pretty solid, for a dragon - all Malavos were - so the rest of her sank, her hind legs touching the bottom.

[Breeding 2/25]
Shifts guarding one of the nicer venues in the Canyons came in three flavors: incredibly dull, the rare physical conflict, and completely infuriating. This one had been the latter; one particular patron had repeatedly bothered other guests, resulting in many complaints being directed to him. This draconic had also insisted on attempting to go places very clearly marked staff only, reacting with entitled offense when being told to leave. This nightmare patron had been smaller than he, but lithe enough to be a nuisance to catch. The area had been closed for a reason, that being ongoing excavation, and in the resulting chase had knocked a scaffold down on him.
The hot springs would be a welcome relief, quiet, not too busy, and good for soaking his aching shoulder. Spiel didn't have a specific pool in mind, any pool far enough away from the main paths would do, he didn't want the background noise of every new patron shuffling past. He 'd been distracted as he waded in, not realizing until the water was up to his elbows that he wasn't alone, spotting the top of a snout poking above the water.
"Apologies, I did not realize this pool was taken."

Daksha watched the dragon approaching, feeling a slight sense of dread build the closer he got. A strange Laskak, making a beeline for her pool! She didn't have anything against this stranger at all, just the fact that she had been looking forward to a solo soak and not talking to anyone for a while... And then he was in her pool and she was way too polite to chase him away.
Though it did help that he was handsome. He reminded her of the other Lashak she had met once, and he had been quite handsome too. She must have a thing for those lovely wings, seeing as hers were glorified stumps. But the Lashak had glorious, full wings, and strong shoulders, and -
Yes, the stranger was lucky he was good looking, otherwise Daksha might have cut her soak short just to avoid being impolite by chasing him off. As it was, she rose a little further, so he could better see her.
"That's alright, I don't mind the company," She said to the stranger. "There's room enough for the both of us. My names Daksha."
