Right in the middle of the marketplace is an interesting little shop. The shop itself seems cobbled together out of old parts. From the outside, it looks a bit shabby, certainly out of place with its mismatched pieces. Inside, however, is a totally different story. There are many tables, none of which match, each covered with piles and piles of miscellaneous objects. There are glittering gems, peculiar plants, strange shells, and so much more. Some things have price tags while others do not. There are even a few odd creatures running about. Perhaps they are for sale as well?
The Trader himself is an interesting thing. Nobody has ever seen his face. He hides behind a simple brown cloak which covers all of his features. His voice, which he uses sparingly, is always calm and neutral. Though occasionally quite firm, it never wavers and never shows excitement nor anger. Even his hands stay hidden within his cloak; things just seem to disappear into it.

Information
Welcome to Curious Collections!
What makes this shop special, you might wonder? No credits are spent here. That's right, as the name suggests, The Trader only accepts trades for his wares.
Trading Process
1. First, take a look at the current offers further down in this thread. Trades are replaced around the first of each month.
2. Consult the trade catalog for a list of all the items the trader will accept and their values. The trades will clearly list what value and type of item (gardens, mines, fishing, or mansion) he is looking for.
3. If you find something you want to trade for, get the items you want to trade and make a thread.
You may make as many trades as you like at the same time, but you must wait one week before starting a new thread once you've completed a trade.
4. Roleplay yourself finding the items for trade and making an offer to the trader. You and the trader may each make a few posts as you figure out the offers.
Note that the trade items are placed in plain view, but the "cost" and "trade categories" are there for player knowledge only. Try to make your posts sound organic and appropriately limit the information your character has.
5. As soon as you receive your items from the trader, delete the items you traded in from your registry.

Trade Rules
- Please make a note of what you intend to trade (both what you have and what you want) in your first post so there is no confusion.
- The trader is willing to accept trades within 10% of the asking price. If your item is worth more you will not be getting anything extra, however.
- Some items will have a bonus category. If you have items in the bonus category, they are worth 20% more than their regular value for that trade only. All other items are worth the regular amount.
- Limited stock is first come, first served. The first person to make an acceptable offer gets to make the trade.
- If you are unsure where your items came from or what counts as a pocketpet, please consult the image's code or ask a staff member.
