How exactly did one demonstrate agility? Well, Zenjesi had one idea: the judges could have visited their kennel this morning when they were attempting to leash this Vespa. Thankfully, Zenjesi had a bit of experience with handling these creatures. Although the satyr did not have the strongest bond with this one in particular, they were aware of how best to approach a less socialized Vespa (usually while it was resting), and the most efficient way to collar it. After that, it was usually best to shield oneself from the inevitable frenzy as the Vespa discovered it was leashed and came to some kind of acceptance of that fact.
At present, they merely had to pray that nothing would spook Drakora too severely or Zenjesi may be lifted off into the sky and never seen again. They tried not to dwell on that possibility as they entered the Hall, the massive insect crawling along behind them. "I am entering Drakora."
Drakora: 0.2, 2.2

Silver had an uncertain nostalgia for the agility run. They couldn't really remember it, but it was actually the first contest they had ever won. Sylvie took first place, and even the fragment of memory they had about it was enough to make them smile softly as they approached the contest hall. Sencha was cheerful as well with her long tail waving eagerly behind her. She sat patiently on Silver's shoulder, but it was clear that she was restraining herself from diving off to play with the other creatures in line. As bored as she was by all this waiting stuff, she wasn't about to make a racket... at least not without permission. "H-hey!" Silver said, almost too chipper when they realized it was their turn to register. "This is, ah, my Ler - Sencha, my Lerrel, and we're here for the - the contest. The Agility Run." Sencha flickered her wings, as if waiting for something else to happen. "... Thank you." [154.75, 5.4]

If he had anything 'trained' to do an agility walk, that would've been more fun to bring along. But the dogs are having a lie-in; literally. He's seen this kind of 'event' happen before, in other colony folk; why didn't he see it sooner; But none of the canines are of any mood to be taken on a walk to be shown in front of people today and those big lights would make most of his creature friends screech in anguish over the excessive brightness. No, better to play it "safe". And by "safe", that's taking your binky chewing, sox wearing giant wasp for a damned 'walk' to go enter a competition that he's unsure she'll even pay attention to. Em doesn't like the cold. She likes the socks, cat had put his FEET in the sox, and they smell like him. He can hear her mandibles nibbling at the binky as he signs the paperwork for entering "Em, the vespa, for agility." One of these days he's gonna just take an inkpad, plant his paw in it and use THAT to write his name. Less issue then with holding a pencil.

It didn’t take long for Fiera to get to the contest hall this time- mostly because she didn’t have to bring her pet along for once. Oh sure you didn’t have to bring your creature to sign them up for contests in theory, but it was always nice to give them some time out on the town. That wasn’t an option with Harding, unfortunately. Neptica were a smidge too large to pull around in a handcart. Still, she entered his information down on the entry sheet anyway. He might not be able to move around on land, but in the water he was as fast as anything- and she had a fantastic idea for a set in mind. She slid the paperwork across the desk again within a few minutes, fully filled out. Now all they had to do was show up- and win, of course. Not like that was a problem for her.

Another contest, another chance to earn forgiveness. Mira, much like Mashiik, had been slow to warm back up to her keeper after the 'incident' with the golossle. While Xentus couldn't hear her thoughts like he could with the alurook, the sullen look on the mosca's face spoke loud and clear. She hardly seemed to want to entertain him on an outing, much less be registered for some contest at her expense. The winged feline gave him a constant side-eye as he led her to the registration desk. And once in line, he couldn't help but to notice her flicking tail and pinned ears. If not for her training, she'd be tempted to maul him right there and then. Xentus was tempted to offer her a calming pat on the head and coo her with sweet words, but that would be tempting fate.
He moved up quickly with the line, eager for his turn. The sooner the mosca was in safe space, the better..
“Ah, greetings”, the man chimed once he reached the desk, mosca in tow, “Xentus would like to enter Mira here for the agility run”
