With the Ethereal Golossle finally having settled in her kennel without the need to use a magic rune script to keep this one contained, and interacting pretty well with some of the other creatures she has that have a similar attribute to being able to pass through objects or people that are tangible, she feels that perhaps its time again to adopt a creature or two. Give them a place to stretch themselves even better, and more personal care. She did at some point with the last visit saw two Lotine curled up in the same large cage that has at the back a tub placed into it filled with water. It would be great if they might still be there, and if not, then she hopes they will have a good home. Still, musing about it in the reception room won’t help much, she’ll still need to actually see them again if possible, or give some other creatures a home. ID #0121 Species: Blossom Lotine
ID #0122 Species: Lily Lotine
ID #Limited Edition Species: Core Lamididron
ID #Limited Edition Species: Miasma Balgor

“Here are the forms, just got some new ones printed out.” She hears in a mumbling tone, needing to take a moment to understand what is actually being said as she turns away from a painting about a forest landscape to face the owner of the APAA, Mathew. A man with dark curly hair, and greyish blue eyes that look larger than they actually are with the glasses he wears. Without it, she thinks his face might be a bit plain looking, but still nice nonetheless. Right, she forgot for a moment why she had been for a while in just the reception area. The papers for adoption that are usually stacked on a corner of the reception’s desk where empty, they hadn’t had the time yet to print out any new ones in the morning until now. Something about showing the ropes to a new volunteer? Smiling, she gets handed five papers, the usual amount when making a trip to this place.

“Thank you!” She grins, pleased with getting these forms, the wait hadn’t been all that long either as when Mathew said they still need to print out some new ones, he looked rather nervous about that fact. Almost like it usually takes a long time to get a good stack of them ready. “I’ll be on my way then, I’ve got a pen already from home.” She comments further as she had seen a small stack of them in a box behind the desk. She assumes it is for the visitors to be able to fill in the information quick enough on their own if they haven’t got one on their person. “Right, then have a pleasant visit..” She hears almost too soft and fast, spoken in a tone that it has been said many times before. And while she might not have caught one or two words, she did hear the familiar words she faced last time.

“I’m sure I will, thanks for taking care of them.” She decides to respond, chuckling as she sees him making his way to the desk while ducking down. Its rather obvious who the ‘them’ is that she is implying with. Making her way to the steel door she opens it easily enough, entering the next room and closing it behind her. She does see from just a glance two others are already here and looking at the creatures, but one seems to be concerning themselves more with cleaning if the bucket of soap and mop in her hand is anything to go by. Shaking her head to get rid of the distracting sight, she decides it would be best to look through the cages and find those Lotine again, if they are still there. There is always the chance that she has missed out on them after all. Which would be a shame if that is going to be the case.

‘In what size of a cage was it again that I last saw them? Middle sized or one of the big ones?’ She wasn’t certain of it, but figures it might be best to look at the middle sized ones first. That they happened to not have the other people so close by is just a happy occasion for her, she really didn’t want to seem like she is poaching after a creature when someone else is interested in them, and can give just as good a home as she would offer for hers. “Hmm, I think I saw you last time as well.” She murmurs to a green Gallor with strange markings on its fur and feathers, it looks almost ritualistic. The creature eyes her with disinterest, its gaze half asleep, almost as if she just woke him up or something. But, since they where already awake when she approached this cage, it is completely untrue.

Should she try going for this one as well? She grips the papers in her hand tightly, hearing it wrinkling before she relaxes her hand. No, it might be for the best if she didn’t, someone else would likely be able to give this one a much better home as she didn’t know enough about the Gallor species to be able to do give him the home it might want to have. She might have a modified one, but that guy is more wolf then a bird. Giving a slow nod to the creature inside, she moved on. The next cage didn’t have the creatures she was looking for either, and not wanting to wake this one up, a Chiryma by the looks of it, she moves further. Taking only quick glances in the cages to see which ones are in it. Only stopping for a few seconds longer then most with the creatures she does have more experience with handling.

It felt like it took ages to find the right cage where the Lotine are located, but she felt glad when she finally spotted them, still in the same cage, and relaxing in the water. She looks at the tags plastered on the cage, trying to see if there might be some more information that she hadn’t seen last time. But it still contained just the ID number, what the species is, and surprisingly their gender. She wasn’t certain if she had seen that last time. Folding up the adoption forms, she tucks it into her pocket for later. She still has to get them used to her presence after all, and hope she will be a good match for them. “Hello.” She says softly while crouching down, gaze focused solely on them. The one looking so much like Luna and had been relaxing their head on what she had read from the information is a blossom Lotine lazily lifts their head to look in her direction.

“Its good to see you two again.” She continued when she caught at least one of their attention. The Lotine tilts her head a little to the side, likely in confusion. She knows from experience with Luna that they are extremely smart, so perhaps she did understood somewhat with what she is saying. “I was here last time.” She explains. “And I saw you two back then as well. I have someone who looks just like you in the garden.” She continues with a grin, but gets almost a disinterested stare back with those words, as if one would dismiss her with the words ‘Good for you, now leave me or us alone.’. Which is interesting, having never experienced it with Luna before. “Your right.” She nods, catching the Lily Lotine’s attention slightly. “That was a bad choice in wording things out.” She tilts her head a little to the side as if in curiosity.

“You’r not interested in the lives of other Lotine, not when being here.” She waves her hand to the row of cages with other creatures in it, and sees the Blossom Lotine shifting her head slightly from the edge of the tub eyeing her warily with half lidded eyes, but in such a slow manner that had she not been watching the movement, she would have thought this one was actually asleep and moving unconsciously. She knows with seeing that the cage has a opening at the back, that they can actually go outside, and from what she remembers, the outside parts of the cages tend to be quite comfortable for a lot of creatures with what they have there, more than the inside, so she needs to handle this with care if she doesn’t want them to use that option to ‘get away from the annoying human’ and see if they might be more interested in playing or food perhaps, she did grab some treat packs with her when she left home.

Maybe even hearing something from a children’s story? She does carry one in her backpack, and the story should be short enough as to not bore them with the details in it. “But I am hoping to change that for you two, I have a large garden, that is honestly more a large forest that is kept wild except for the single path leading towards the meadow where I have a small lake with clear water. Its even more a lighter and brighter blue then that tub.” She points at the tub in question, its color, while a bright blue, is so much darker in comparison. “I guess aquamarine comes to mind..” she muses before shaking her head with a sheepish smile. Looking back at the two, she sees that at least she has caught the attention of the Lily Lotine as she sees her staring more firmly at her, and with less disinterest then before.

With her hands she starts gesturing what she is talking about. “It also got a really big waterfall, as somehow I was able to acquire the one garden that has a naturel large hill in almost the middle of it. I remember it took quite some work to make the lake also gain bit of a river that winds back into the.. lets say ‘mountain’ and have the water be transported back into it.” She grins, as she sees even the Blossom Lotine finally opening one eye to look more directly at her. “The meadow itself tends to mostly be a grassy plain, but there are pockets of wild flowers here and there.” She makes a gesture at the word flowers on how big some of them are. “You’d also share it with other type of creatures then though. Each species in my garden seems to have found some kind of territory they like the best, they do sometimes fight with others, but..”

Here she stares at them more imploringly. “Since they are more land based creatures you hardly will even notice them warring with each other,” She pauses for a moment, she didn’t add ‘or with you two’ as they can just duck under water and be done with the attempts. “and the lake is more a gathering of drinking and playing for them, than it is too settle their own disputes.” She’s talking mostly about the Leaf-Scatterers whose territory is directly against the edge of the lake, but it does tend to apply to the others that live close to the lake as well, only the Fungel Beast might still be trying to fight others close to it. That one would be the type to watch out for though.” She tags on absentmindedly. She at least still got both of their attention on what she is saying, the Lily more so then the Blossom.

Still, when she looked more closely at the Blossom, she can tell something at least is bothering her. Now and then while she had been talking, the Blossom lightly scratched near the flower on her head, as if afraid to damage it, but also having an urge to do it that is hard to resist. “You okay?” She questions, looking directly at the Blossom, but since the Lilly is so near the Blossom in the tub of water they share, she can see her tilt her head in confusion. “I could..” She makes a scratching motion with her left on the top of head. “Help relieve that itch of yours perhaps?” She questions, and shows her hands, wiggling them in front of her face, and curling them into a fist at certain moments. “I’ve got very dexterous fingers.” She grins at the Lilly and Blossom Lotine while she watches their reaction to her words.

Tilting her head first in question at her, the Lilly Lotine then slowly looks at the Blossom when she starts to understand it is the Blossom she is asking if they want to be scratched on the head, since the itch looks like a persistent one with the way she keeps twitching and moving her paw towards it. The Blossom ducks her head in the water for a moment at all the attention going towards her, but hesitantly starts to rise again a minute later. Looking shyly towards her and then her companion. Its almost as if asking for permission, or perhaps for reassurance? She doesn’t know for sure which it might be. But after a few seconds the Blossom starts the laborious task of getting out of the tub, water splashing on the ground everywhere, and slowly dragging herself closer to the cage bars, which is for a few moments closer to the tub actually quite a bit easier as she slides more thanks to the water.

Smiling at the Blossom, she finally gets to see from closer up just where exactly the itch is. She’s actually surprised she hasn’t noticed it sooner. “You’re growing a berry on your head?” She says it like a question, but it really isn’t, not when she can clearly see it within the flower. Tiny as it is right now, it still is in the phase it might mature in a berry that eventually becomes a Lola after a short period of time when the berry has fallen off. Or it will rot and drop off her flower at some point. The later being more likely with how much she is carefully scratching that spot. “Here, let me help you.” She slowly brings her hand between the bars and then, inside the cage. “Come here.” She motions with her hand. Smiling softly when the Blossom comes within touching distance, even if she is rather hesitant in her approach when coming closer.
