“First thing I’ve got to do with you is giving you a good brush once you’re with me.” She says while leaving a few more treats on the ground for the Balgor to eat inside their cage. Packing up her stuff and placing her bag back on, she adjusts the straps enough to make it feel comfortable once more. She’s most certainly determined to have this Balgor with her, even if they might not be too interested in playing right now, she’s certain that an Anti-growth could help fix that, and make them a bit more on the smaller side than they are right now. Looking up at the cage she searches for the plate where some of the small details are listed and takes out of her pocket one of the few adoption papers she still has left, scribbling down the information on it. “So you’re a she? That’s great! Most of the other’s are male, so its good to have another female around.” Looking up at the Balgor after saying that, she sees the head tilt, a twitch of one ear, and the Balgor’s eyes stare into hers. She’s certain the Miasma doesn’t know what she is talking about, but feels that they will rather like the place, certainly less boring then being here. No matter how well taken cared for as she looks, pieces of straw sticking out of her fur notwithstanding.

Scribbling the last parts down on her reasons for wanting the Miasma, she flashes a small smile to her as she steps away from the cage, heading to the right one that is next to it, she peers inside to see the Core Lamadidron is awake, shaking its head a little before doing a full body shiver. “Just woke up?” She wonders, as she looks at the Core performing a stretch that is quite similar to a Vulticus after a long nap. Smiling she taps the glass behind the bars lightly, just to see what they would do. At first, there isn’t much of a response, too busy still trying to feel more awake. But when she taps the glass again, she sees them looking in her direction as they start tracking where the noise comes from. Stopping with tapping on the glass, she waves to the Lamadidron. “Hey.” She calls out, a little louder then she did with chatting to the Balgor.

She wasn’t certain if they could hear her as well as they did with the tapping, but the Core at least seems curious enough about her to move a bit closer on it own. “Its good to meet you.” She says while tilting her head a bit more up than she had to do with the cage next to her. Tilting its head to the side it watches her with curious eyes, following the movement of her hands as she presses it close to the warm glass. “I wonder just how hot your room actually is.” She muses out loud as she eyes the inside of the cage, seeing that while it might look a little sparse, there is still plenty of things inside that could amuse the Core and occupy its attention. There is certainly enough lava stones and ashes from wood logs probably. As that seems to be the most common type of ash to get.

Looking further at the outside of the cage to see where the plate of information is located, she is a little quicker to find it compared to the Miasma, how she missed it at the time in the first place she can only say if anyone ever asks is that she was more preoccupied with looking what is inside the cage, before passing when seeing the occupant was asleep. Reading through the information at least gives her some idea on just how hot the room is, as there is a warning about it, and the gender of this one. “So a boy, and the room is at least thirty degrees inside the room.” She muses as she looks at the Lamadidron while saying so. Grinning as she sees the Core still looking at her curiously. Taking of her backpack, she unzips one of the compartments to take out another ball, and while she didn’t see a small opening that she could toss the ball in the cage, she does see a door that is very likely locked up tight with a keypad.

Considering how the Core Lamadidron always needs to be at a certain temperature to live, and the room here is certainly a few degrees lower compared to that room. It’s definitely a good thing that no one can just head inside the room, or leave it open, as there might always be someone careless enough to do so. With a slightly better looking tennis ball in hand compared to the one she gave the Miasma, she shows it to the Core. Watching with a smile as the Lamadidron looks at it, and follows her movements with his eyes as she lowers it to the ground and rolls it on the ground. Letting the ball first go left, before batting it to the right and letting it hit the glass lightly. The Lamadidron looks interested as they come closer, lowering their head to watch the movements of the ball as she does it again.

At some point when the Core is following the movements of the ball, she sees him try to bat at the glass as well to try and redirect the ball when it came close to the glass again. Chuckling lightly, she moves her hand to bat at the ball in the exact moment when the Lamadidron tries it again, getting to hear a surprised honking sound from the Core as they see the ball move in the other direction when she did it. “You’ve certainly been here long enough if you’re not paying much attention to the movements of my hands.” She murmurs thoughtfully as she sees the Lamadidron is definitely more preoccupied with watching the movements of the ball, than at what she is doing. Almost like a cat watching the movement of a feather really. It feels almost exactly like that when looking at the reactions of him as she is moving the ball around.

After about fifteen minutes, maybe even more as she hasn’t paid much attention to the time and is just guessing the time they spend playing with each other. He is starting to flag in concentration, loosing interest in the ball as they had been repeating the same thing over and over. She can’t blame the Core for it, it is a rather simple game after all, but she’s glad that he at least wanted to play for a little while. Smiling up at the Core as he looks only once in her direction as she packs up the ball back in her bag, she sees him turn around to the heating pad, walking lazily to it before just flopping in the bed and see the movement of his middle just sink in what is likely a big sigh. Hopefully one of contentment, as that would certainly be a nice thing to have accomplished here.

Dragging the bag on her back and pulling her arms through the straps, she lifts her backpack up, adjusting the straps just enough to feel comfortable and not like its digging into her skin. She takes out of her pocket the paperwork and a pen, shuffling the pages till she finds a empty one and filling the description in on who else she wants to adopt. She’s quite happy in having found a few new critters that would be interested in joining her, or in the case of the Miasma and Core, two new companions that she’ll grow into a younger stage. Have them enjoy their youth more then what they are like right now. She’s certain they’ll enjoy it later on, maybe even sooner than that once they figure out getting old isn’t that cracked up to be. Grinning she waves at the Core, doing the same to the Miasma as she looks into her cage.

“See you soon, you two!” She says in a cheerful tone, dragging the Miasma’s attention away from the old and beaten ball she is chewing on to see her watch in puzzlement at the movement of her hand before turning away from her again. Shrugging, she walks away from the cages heading to the steel door while waving at who is likely a volunteer as they are cleaning one of the empty cages right now, smiling when she gets a wave in return as she opens the steel door. It is nice to see the people here are so friendly, and while she’d likely not be volunteering here anytime soon, she’d bet that the experience would still be an interesting one to try. Just not today or any time soon really. She has enough work with her own companions, and while she has a Trod that can do most of the work too.

Doing it yourself gives it more meaning and bonding time with your companions. It’s something she would rather not miss out on. Closing the door behind her, she can just hear the noise dampening a bit of the animals behind her. It wasn’t something she has been paying much attention to before, but now out of that room? She certainly notices it. Taking a moment to look around, she doesn’t see Mathew currently, but there is a nice fresh stack of new adoption papers on the desk he usually occupies. Heading to it she takes out her own paperwork, placing it on an empty part of the desk. And as she can’t see him anywhere currently, she heads to one of the stools to sit on. Taking off her backpack and placing it below the stool. She stretches her arms to get rid of some of the tension as she relaxes in her seat. Musing at the thought she’d probably be hiring someone to bring them to her kennel, as she knows the Lotine’s have a rather difficult time moving around on land after all.
Though for now, she’d wait. She is certain it won’t take long to have everything processed and be able to take four new companions with her, no matter what or how the transportation of them will be like.
