It took her ages to settle on a design for the layout of the hara house but eventually Sevyrn was happy with what she had - just in time for her to realize that she desperately needed to stop and get something to eat. She imagined that the little ones were hungry, too, and after raising Elisa she knew what kind of diet to expect the young one to be able to thrive on. Instead of having to wonder (and then do some research), she'd be able to give Chester what he needed right off of the bat.
"Alright guys, let's get us a snack," she said. Her voice cause Elisa's attention and she hopped over towards Sev, climbing up the sleeve of her shirt to scramble on to her shoulder. "Yeah - a snack does sound like a good idea, doesn't it Ellie?" She asked as she scooped up the basket to head inside.

A quick snack break seemed to be exactly what everyone needed - luckily Chester did seem to appreciate the same diet that Elisa had when she was so small, and then they were able to get back to work. There was something comfortable and enjoyable about hanging out on the porch in the soft early autumn breeze working on a project to create a nice home for those who she cared for.
It was a very nice way to spend a day, that much was true. It didn't take long and Sev had the outer walls of the little house set up and ready to create the doors and windows before starting to piece together the inner walls to create proper rooms inside. Creating little harachiu sized furniture was going to be interesting to try to create, though... Looks weren't the only thing that mattered, after all - she wanted Elisa and Chester to find their home comfortable.

She drew in spots for doors and windows along the outer walls of the house before bringing her tools to the thin plywood to carve out the spaces - she was going to try to make a mini curtain rod so that the residents of the house would be able to open and close a tiny set of curtains for each of the windows, but she wasn't sure how she was going to manage a door yet - perhaps everyone was going to have to be happy with an open entry way to and from any room (though she could use the curtain rod idea for the bedrooms - allow the little things a chance of privacy in their personal space).
Sevyrn was really, really hoping that the harachiu would end up liking the place that they got to call their own, and she was dedicated to making the space as good for them as possible.

"What do you think?" Sev asked Elisa after the little one had fluttered back over to the commotion to check it out, climbing up on to Sevyrn's lap to see everything that was going home. "Hey, little one," Sevyrn said to her. "I'm making you and Chester here a little home, sweetie. I'm hoping that you guys end up really liking it!"
The pixie let out a little squeal in return, leaning precariously forward to look inside what was currently, essentially, just a wooden box. She cocked her head and then looked back at Sevyrn. "Empy," she remarked.
"You're right- right now it is empty. But that's gonna change, and you're gonna have your own little room in there. I know you like your hammock - do you want one in here?" She asked, and the harachiu nodded. It seemed that Sevyrn was going to have to find a way to procure a second hammock.

Even when all of this was done, Sevyrn figured that she would happily pull out the dollhouse from her childhood - allow the little spritelings that were living in the new house a choice of toys and decorations for their place. Everything would be around the right size, she figured - dollhouse toys were full-sized toys for harachiu, right?
After a brief little chat with Elisa before the curious little creature flew off to explore the porch once again and a pause to see how Chester was doing in the basket - just fine, he seemed to be - it was time to get back to work. Sev was committed to getting as much of this project done as possible before the afternoon came, when she would have to turn her attention to other obligations like running in to town, checking on those at the kennel, and tending to the plants and animals down in the garden.

Time passed and, like everyone, Chester grew older too. Sevyrn had watched how quickly Elisa had grown from a baby in to a being of her own, walking and flying and making those first stumbling words. It wasn't long before the makeshift harachiu home was done, and it wasn't long after that before Chester was starting to grow in to that juvenile phase - Sevyrn hated to see him grow and yet at the same time loved it. Elisa was becoming a bad influence on him, though - encouraging him to snoop his nose in to as much as she was. They were becoming the terrible twosome - and boy did it keep Sevyrn busy. Elisa was growing talkative, quite chatty now that she was getting familiar with the common tongue, and Chester seemed ever so close to speaking with his babbles and attempts to mimic both the older harachiu and Sevyrn any time that they spoke. ... With two talkers in the making, Sev really needed to be careful about cursing these days. It was not her forte, and one of these times she was going to end up saying the wrong thing and having an inquisitive little mouth repeating it for days on end. 241 [tbb 21]

"Play wiff me," Elisa insisted to the younger harachiu, grabbing him by his hands and pulling him to his feet - Chester was still figuring out the whole walking thing and as much as he could stumble around on his feet he was due to fall as soon as Elisa let go of him. At the very least, she was a good play mate and sister. However, as much as she always seemed to mean well that didn't mean everything always went as well as she planned. Like expected, Chester tumbled back down to the ground beside her.
Today they weren't up on the porch, or stuck inside - as fun as both the dollhouse and their home had become. No, not today - today was one of the rare days where Sevyrn brought Elisa down to the ground, and Chester's first time away from his entire world (the house, the porch and Sev's travel basket) since he'd first been found among the flowers buds. He seemed to be loving it, too - unsurprising. These were creatures of nature, after all, and they were bound to be happy among it.
Everyone else seemed to be curious about the tiny pair, as well. Al and the others didn't seem to know what to think of them.

"Just remember to play nice with everyone," Sevyrn had said to the pair when she'd first settled on to a blanket near the flower beds. She should have known better than to expect the young pair to be on their best behavior - it was an exciting day, after all! What Sevyrn had not expected was for Elisa to run off and try to climb on top of Al like she was an animal to be mounted - she had to laugh as she insisted that the pixie get off of the nyssafaux, but she couldn't pretend that she didnt think the sight was truly hilarious. Who knew - maybe one day Elisa truly would be able to ride a Nyssafaux! Dear fuck, as hilarious as the idea was Sevyrn couldn't imagine ever convincing Al to be down for that. It would be quite the sight, though.
Chester was a bit better behaved, though - that probably had a lot to do with the fact that he couldn't really get up and go anywhere on his own yet. He was damn well trying, though - it wouldn't be long before he was running off alongside Elisa instead of hanging out with her and then there would be trouble.

Struggling on his feet didn't stop Chester from trying to amble after Elisa when he was committed, though - he'd truck through the dips and falls like the best of them. Elisa was a sweetheart, too - if she noticed him trailing after her she would stop and hold his hand, help him up if he stumbled to his knees. Sevyrn really appreciated the relationship that they were forming while growing along side each other - hopefully even as they grew older they would remain friends at each other's side like they were now.
"Chesser, come see!" Elisa called from over by a bleeding heart plant, clearly enamored by the strings of pink and white flowers that it bore. She pointed up to the plant in an exaggerated gesture, essentially demanding the young boy's attention. She got it, of course - Chester would follow the only friend he had any day.
Sevyrn kept a watchful eye on the two as they dawdled about and played in the near vicinity, she debated the logistics of finding some kind of harachiu play group. The most difficult part of that would be how she didn't really have many friends, let alone any who she knew cared for harachiu of their own.

Of course, Sevyrn always had something around to occupy her own attention- and watching Elisa point up at those bleeding hearts so excitedly while Chester looked in awe seemed like the perfect little scene to doodle in to her sketchbook - so, of course, with the idea in her mind she settled on doing just that. Her latest sketchbook was laying on the blanket beside her with a pencil tucked in to the spiral binding, so she pulled the pencil out and flipped to the nearest empty page. As easy at that, she started to sketch out the basic forms of the scene. Luckily, harachiu were rather easy to draw - they had very human-like little forms, miniature versions of anatomy that she was familiar with, except with some cute little cat-like ears and those insect-like wings. Even the flowers were pretty simple, especially if she decided to keep the drawing more loose and sketchy.
The pair of harachiu themselves did not wander far - they seemed to love those flowers. Elisa pulled Chester up over the wooden edge of the planter, and together the pair played around in the flowers. Eventually they settled on a game of hide and go seek - Elisa loved it and was teaching Chester.

A smatter of sparks, a brush of fire; the bright colour's of the illusion were stark against the shrubbery, the Estharne trekking across leaves and brambles, roots and low branches. Like most creatures, it had a plan in mind- a lucid concept of locating food, and a warm den to lay down for a nap. It was on a trajectory that just so happened to interject with the space that was already occupied! It paused its trek, eyes ahead on a patch of flowers and the being that was not too far-off. Un-expected! It waited a tic, ear catching a breeze and flicking, glancing too and fro from the being to where it had planned to go- perhaps it would just keep going, or stay close to the underbrush..?

For a moment, Sevyrn swore she saw fire in the corner of her yard and scrambled to find a hose in order to quell the flames - and then, as she had a moment to process what was going on, she noticed that this was no fire. No - there was a creature slowly lurking towards her, it's ghostly smoke the deep-red hue that had reminded Sevyrn of fire. The beast stuck towards the edge of the garden as it locked eyes with the woman, and only seconds later Sevyrn glanced away to look towards two similar beasts that were still living here. It was... another of those strange, ghastly estharne - this one surrounded in wisps of red rather than the soft blue or white glow of the other two. She had to wonder what was bringing these animals to the area, but she knew she would be content to allow this one a safe den and meal, as well. 246 [tbb 1]

The little ones would have to go back inside, for safety sake - as much as Sevyrn had come to trust that these beasts were more than their spooky demeanor, the lives of little ones were not something ever worth the risk. They wouldn't mind too much, at least - Sevyrn had put their little house in the spare room where they had all sorts of trouble that they could get in to, and they were safe from a curious kitten in there too. Besides, Sevyrn would undoubtedly be inside to check on them before too long.
"Come on," Sevyrn said, trying to coax the pair back towards the porch. They were lost in the moment, however, and she ended up needing to head over to the flower bed to scoop them up. The pair of harachiu had not even noticed noticed strange guest that they had by the edge of the property until they were lifted from the ground.

"Kitty!" Elisa vocalize, pointing at the big firey feline that skulked around - there was a hint of fear in her tone, perhaps from the fact that she'd never seen a cat so big or perhaps because cats in general weren't her thing... Ramses was, well, something, after all. There was a reason that Sevyrn had wanted to keep a closed door (or at least a door way too small for a malii paw to get through) between him and the spritelings.
"Yeah, that's definitely a kitty. It's a really big one, too, isn't it?" Sevyrn asked to the harachiu as she made her way up the stairs and brought them inside. Once they were settled down she made her way back outside, stopping to grab a snack for the visitor that would hopefully still be out there when she returned. Maybe seeing some creatures like it would convince it that sticking around was safe?

When she got back outside with a slab of raw meat in her hand (she'd had to bring a bunch home from the kennel supplier after starting to house the first two estharne temporarily in the yard, the kennel expansion was supposed to be done soon however!) the firey feline had went and made peace with the other two estharne, who had noticed the stranger on what was now "their" land and moved to check her out. That... could have gone so badly - Sevyrn was lucky that there was no big cat fight going on in her back yard right about now.
"Well I see that you're fitting in," she said to the ghostly creature as she leaned against the railing of her porch. The meal in her hand hung loosely over the edge, and once she had the beasts attention she tossed the slab towards it. The feline was hesitant.
