The beast eyed Sevyrn up, glowing red eyes boring in to hers with a fierce intensity before it moved - casual, despite the vibe that it was giving off. Once it reached the meat it batted it twice with its paws before lowering its head to smell the offering. A meal and a place to sleep... that was what it had been looking for, right? The other two felines seemed acceptable (or willing to accept it, at least) and the woman offered her an easy meal. The estharne figured it kind of liked this place, and might want to stick around. It would, for now - whether that was permanent or not was another question. This beast was a wanderer, not aiming to be tamed or kept in one place.
After it mowed down on the meal - easy pickings for its large fangs - it looked towards Sevyrn and in a very feline manner, meowed at her.

It seemed that they were friends now. Or casual acquaintances, at the very least.
Seeing that the beast seemed well with her presence, Sevyrn considered it safe to venture off of the porch and down in to the yard where her small pack of ghostly bare-skulled estharne all stood within a small space. Everyone seemed content and she was pleased with that, though she hoped the other two wouldn't grow jealous when Sev focused her attention on the newcomer. She had a friend to make, after all.
"This place has been busy the last few days, with you all," she said to the estharne as she slowly walked towards it. She stayed focused on the task at hand, knowing that she needed to remain alert for any signs that this interaction was about to go downhill. Getting close to a new creature, especially one used to the wilds, could be dangerous.

"Any chance you guys know each other?" She asked in that soft tone of hers she saved for when she needed to be gentle with an animal, smiling as the firey beasts floppy ears perked towards her - body language that indicated curiosity rather than aggression. "You all kinda came around during the same little span of time, and you get along well. Were you friends out there? Or at least amicable?" Clearly the estharne was not going to be able to respond to her, but it was a decent point to make - at the very least, they all seemed to trust each other enough to not be aggressive with each other. Perhaps at one point in time or another, they all had come across each other or been part of a feral group. There really was no way for her to be able to tell, but she liked to think that might be the case.

For the next little while, Sevyrn spent time bonding with her newest addition - the estharne was a curious thing to encounter just like the others had been, but she also became the first that Sevyrn had decided on a name for - Elara. She didn't know what was drawing her towards that name choice but it just seemed right to her, so that was what they were going to go with. She was fitting in with the others quite well which Sevyrn considered affirmation that the trio were at least vaguely familiar with each other from the past. She could appreciate that - it was hard to be the newcomer around a bunch of strangers, and these guys wouldn't have to worry about that when it came time to move in to the kennel. They would have each other until they got used to everyone else - and Sevyrn really hoped that they would be able to get along with the others.

This was going to make for a nice afternoon - hanging out making friends with a new estharne wasn't how Sevyrn had planned to spend the day but she wasn't arguing with it. She imagined that the trio came from the forest that her property backed on to - the fence was almost flush with the tree line. Once in a while she liked to head out and walk through the woods, maybe come across a trail or a point of interest along the way. It had been a long time since the last time she had, and just thinking about how these guys probably came from there, she found herself itching to go for a walk.
"Hey Elara - how do you feel about going on an adventure?" She asked the estharne. Hey - it could be a really good way to bond with her newest friend... or a really easy way for her to run off and be free.

Elara was not understanding what Sevyrn said but that didn't matter - when Sevyrn walked towards the gate the firey creature's head turned so that her eyes could follow the girl. When Sev stopped at the gate, the estharne's ears perked. "Come on," Sev tried to goad the estharne over. Elara had... well, no training at all - it wouldn't be easy to get her to listen or anything. But as much as it would suck if the estharne saw this as an opportunity, it was a wild animal and Sevyrn respected that. If she wished to call this place home, she would stick around while out and about- or at least return of her own accord down the line. Sev was not about to trap a wild animal and force it in to captivity - animals needed to choose her as much as she needed to choose them.
After opening the gate, Sev gestured for the estharne to follow her once again.

Elara didn't understand what the girl was saying, but she did understand that an open gate meant that she would be able to head out of the confines of the fence and in to the wild - she hadn't been here long, but she was itching to get out and moving. The beast moved quickly, running out of the gate. Her pace slowed once she was outside, but she immediately moved in the direction of the woods. After closing the gate behind her to keep everyone else inside, Sevyrn followed after the estharne.
Perhaps Elara would have somewhere to show her along the way - where she had come from, maybe. The feline knew these woods better than she did that was for sure, and she trusted the estharne's judgement on where they should head. Sev just really hoped that Elara would choose to stay close rather than leaving her and her home behind.

It wasn't long after they broke through the tree line thar Sevyrn realized how ill prepared she was for such an adventure - she didn't even have proper shoes on let alone a long-sleeved shirt or anything to protect her from the scratches from pushing through branches and bushes. She was going to regret it later but, hey- what was an adventure without a little risk anyways?
It wasn't long before following Elara in to the forest lead to a little clearing through, and Sev found herself free from the risk of more very minor wounds. The feline crouched down towards the ground on a grassy spot in the clearing, and she rolled over to wind up on her back under a spot of unhindered sunlight.
Sevyrn had to laugh as she followed the estharne in to the clearing, and she quickly sat cross legged beside the cozy feline, patting the grass.

It only took a moment before she figured that she should lay down, too, and without even a second thought Sevyrn found herself on her back along with Elara. Perhaps she showed the unfamiliar estharne a little bit too much trust right now but it felt right - Sev tended to have a gut feeling about things when something was about to go wrong, and she had no such feeling around this beast. She was just a kitty- a big one, sure, but a kitty nonetheless. If something bad were to happen, she would be more surprised than otherwise.
"This is a nice spot," she said to the estharbe, tilting her head to look at Elara. It was a touch unsettling still, the flesh-eating face and firey smoke that emanated from it, but Sevyrn was growing more familiar with that. "You can really pick a good spot to stop and rest."

Yeah - this was pretty pleasant. The sun high in the sky was warm despite the crisp early autumn breeze, long untamed grass swaying around her in a way that gently tickled tickled skin of her arms.... Sevyrn closed her her eyes and took a deep breath, basking in the bliss of the simple moment that she was a part of it. It was a good thing she'd met Elara here, if only because it meant she could be having this little rest right now.
What else would Elara know of, besides good basking spots? Sev had to wonder - she planned on staying out here with the estharne for a while. It only made sense that at some point the estharne would be done getting its little break in and want to move around some more... or maybe she really was like a large house cat and would just want to snooze all day.

As much as the idea seemed nice, Sevyrn knew that she could not spend all day laying around in a clearing. For a little while it was peaceful but inevitably she grew restless, and it seemed that Elara could sense that because the feline let out a loud, deep meow before rolling back on to all fours. Sevyrn wasn't paying attention and it showed - she spooked when a large skull pressed against her abdomen, which left Elara seeming slightly perturbed.
"I'm sorry about that, girl," Sevyrn said, and she reached out to weave her fingers in to the estharne's red-tinted fur. After a couple good pats she pulled away so that she could sit herself up. She was itching to get moving, and as she pulled one knee towards her chest ler leg started to bounce. "What do you think, Elara? Should we go see what else nature has to offer us?"

Another visitor makes its way through the underbrush! Rubbing against the lower branches and a rumble of soft purrs, another feline leans into the warm patches of available sunlight, it's fine-fur a fantastic coat against any sudden autumn briskness. Tail swishing and nosing about, perhaps its the other placid cat that brings this Mosca over, its movements languid within the bushes without getting too close!

There wasn’t even time for the pair to get moving before something caught Elara’s attention, perking up those fiery furred ears that swivelled in the direction of Sevyrn - the estharne’s attention was beyond her, however, and Elara got to her feet with more grace than Sev could ever hope to muster. The sudden change in demeanour caught the woman’s attention and her own head turned to see what was going on. For a moment she remained unaware and mildly confused, but then she swore she saw a flash of white dip between two bushes before disappearing out of sight.
She would soon realize what it was - the bushy, long-furred tail of a rather pretty white mosca, but for now she was left curious. Sevyrn clambered to her feet and started to walk in the direction of the strange occurrence as Elara followed behind her. The estharne seemed curious rather than alarmed.

As she broke through the bush branches and twigs scraped at the bare skin of her arms, another reminder that she really should have thought at least a touch farther ahead before she’d decided to venture out in to the woods on a whim. Bare arms had been nice when she’d been laying in the grass, but they weren’t so nice when she was pushing through trees and plant life to find the source of a random flash of white. Elara seemed to care little for such things, likely more than used to traversing through the woods - these ones especially. Elara seemed to remain calm and Sevyrn took that to mean that all was well.
After breaking through the thick layer of underbrush that lined the clearing, Sevyrn once again caught sight of the wisp of white - again it was in the distance, though the ambling pace at which it moved seemed ever so casual.

It was only now that Sevyrn was able to make out what the wisp of white truly was - and she loved it. It was the wisps of long fur at the end of a white tail, attached to a rather gorgeous long-furred mosca with tufted ears, a fluffy face and a strange golden crescent moon symbol positioned between its uncanny white eyes. The being seemed to become aware that it had been noticed and its paws stilled where it stood. Casually, the creature looked over towards Sevyrn and the estharne that it had been watching moments before.
The mosca let out a meow before it turned towards the pair and started to walk over, rather calm about the situation as a whole. It meowed again as it got closer, and Sevyrn took that as an invitation to go meet the sweet little thing. Clearly it was not the least bit bothered by the company.
