Sevyrn would agree, as much as she found herself having big dreams. Perhaps the next thing to get done was to work on the barriers for the new vegetable gardens, something that she would never have needed if Al wasn't such a shit disturber. She wouldn't be planting anything in them this year but she would be able to ready the soil and leave it to sit until the next planting season came along. It would be more ready then anyways - having just came to own that land, it was not ready for growth just yet.
She had the planks that she would need to set up the barriers, and a roll of chicken wire tucked away in her shed - it was a doable task. Setting her mind to it, Sevyrn left the mussimander in the safe paws of his favourite pachee buddy, and made her way back to the shed to pull out what she would need.

Hmm.. maybe she could do one part vegetable garden, with a greenhouse on the other side? If she could manage that she might be able to grow year-round, especially if she were able to get a hydroponic set-up going on inside of it. That was a really good idea! It was going to take a bit of research, though, and a lot of money to be able to afford the materials that she would need. It could also potentially serve as a shelter for her various garden residents if she wasn't able to get one going quick enough to beat winter. All around it seemed like it would be a very good idea worth looking in to.
For now? It was time to get the new veggie garden in place to get its first use when spring returned. Sevyrn hauled her roll of chicken wire out of the shed and dragged it on down - the wood was already down there.

Mussimander still safe? Sevyrn had to check before she got to work, not wanting find wind up finding him under her feet like she had earlier - she still felt incredibly bad about that little incident. He had wandered away from his pachee buddy right around when Sevyrn went to look for him, but Button quickly trailed after him; it seemed that the pair truly were friends, huh? It wasn't the most expected pair, but whatever kept both of them feeling happy and safe.
With them off in the distance, Sevyrn was able to start setting the posts that would mark the corners of the vegetable garden, as well as a spot where a little gate was going to go. She moved things around a few times before she was finally happy with the placement - mainly of the gate - and then... well, it seemed that it would be time to put up the horizontal slats between the posts and then attach some chicken wire. It was a good, albeit very basic, enclosure.

By the time that Sevyrn had finished putting up the horizontal boards around the perimiter, she found herself almost out of nails - it was a good thing that she didn't have any more work to do right now so she would be able to stop by the store at some point to get more. The girl was utterly exhausted, however, and wanted to take a break - on her way back towards the picnic table she scooped her mussimander up and held him close, tickling his nose with just one finger.
"You liking the new place, little guy?" Sevyrn asked him as she caught a glimpse of bright colors to her side - Button was following along behind them like a good big brother or best friend. Yeah - the mussimander was definitely going to fit in amongst the garden critters, especially considering that he had already made a very good friend on his first day.

It felt so damn good to finally plop her ass down on the picnic table - Sevyrn let out a sigh of relief as she gently placed her little buddy down on top of it and leaned forwards. Her arms hit the table first, crossing at the wrists, and Sevyrn let her head lay against her hands.
"We got a lot done today, though! All that's left is to put up the chicken wire to keep a certain someone-" Sevyrn peered towards her myssafaux, who was currently curled up peacefully atop a flower pot that held nothing else but dirt "- out of the garden once we start planting. We got the compost bin done, too. So many projects to get done, and we've almost finished two of them in just a day. We should be proud of ourselves, little guy."
At this rate, the mussimander was going to end up thinking that his name was 'little guy'... Sevyrn really needed to figure out something to call him.

She would think about it tonight, and hopefully come back out in the morning with a name decided. For now she just needed a rest and a drink, and then to finish up the job that she had started before she gave up on it for the night and then, typical behavior of hers, forgot about it for a week, then a month... Sevyrn let out another heavy sigh as she lifted her head and swiped her water bottle off of the table. After getting a few gulps down she put it back and stood up, resting both hands on the table with flat hands.
"Let's get this finished up, little guy," Sevyrn said to the mussimander and then cradled him in her hand to put him down on the ground. After she got the roll of chicken wire set up, she was going inside to take a well deserved break... and probably take a nap.

September faded in to October and Sevyrn had used that time to start her greenhouse plan. She was not set on building it in the other side of the expansion, and had been putting rigorous work in to getting everything prepared. She had been working on drawings - measurements, materials, the insude layout... she had gone through page after page of potential designs and never been happy with any of them....
But with winter coming soon, she needed to start now - and with her last crops of the year dying off, there was no better time than now to get the building in the works while the ground wasn't yet frozen and snow was not yet falling.
The mussimander and her bonded day after day - though on his first trip inside Ramses had been way too interested in the little lizard that Sevyrn had decided that inside would not be the place for him.

The little thing was going nuts with all the mushrooms sprouting in damp corners of the gardens, unsurprising given that fungi were part of his species name. Sevyrn had relented and not picked some of them from the ground and instead left them for the little guy, who seemed to be at home in a fall garden.
She still needed a damn name for him... Maybe one would come some day.
Today she had finally decided that she liked one of her plans, and as such she had gone out back to check out what supplies were left. After the first two of her recent projects she had very little in terms of building supplies... she was going to have to head down to the store and bring home more lumber and nails. That could be an adventure for later on, it was still early in the day and she was not ready for any kind of trip.

"What do you think, little guy?" Sevyrn asked the mussimander as she looked at the plans laid out in front of her on the picnic table. He was skittering around the table beside her, and upon hearing her voice leaned in close to see what was going on. Quite truthfully he had no idea what she was talking about at all! He could see the plans but not make sense of them, nor the words that were coming out of her mouth.
He did, however, nose at her arm and then give her a tiny, playful nibble - barely anything given how tiny he was. Did the mussimander want to play around with her? Sevyrn had naught a clue how to even play with him given his lack of size, and she didn't think that she had any toys that would suit him... The safest bet was probably to put him down on the ground so that he could go find Button.

The mussimander and the pachee who both became residents of her garden on the same day were still the best of buddies, always playing about with each other and even curling up for naps together. It was a great thing in Sevyrn's mind - she knew that the lotine wouldn't be as fond of rambunctious company. They weren't the newest resisdent, though - a four member troupe of dragonoaks had become residents of her garden as well now. Luckily they had buddies of their own species, and tended to keep to themselves - they liked to hide behind the shed, and Sevyrn saw no problem with that.
To think that this place had simply started with her and Al, and now it was growing in to something magnificent - plant life and creature life all around, working in harmony with their surroundings. Sevyrn was quite proud of what she had been able to make out of this place.

She really wanted to stop by the Herbologist's Delight at some point - she hadn't broke herself nearly as much as she had thought she had and still had a decent amount of money to her name. She'd seen some of the creatures that the shop offered and she wanted to bring some of them back to the garden - she had heard that many of them were 'harvestable', as in they could produce special items at certain times of the year. She heard that mussimander could be like that which made her little guy the first 'harvestable' creature that she had ever owned, but it was in her nature to want to build her collection... especially when that collection revolved around nature.
Perhaps she should do that at some point... but for now she simply really needed to build up the energy to head down to the shops and gather the supplies that she needed for the greenhouse.

She went and did it anyways, unsurprisingly.
It wasn't even a couple hours after she'd sat at her table with the mussimander that she had made her way out of the house to go pick up the lumber supplies for her garden... and instead came back come with a cart full of creatures that had been available for sale down at the Herbologist's Delight. From what she understood most of them were meant to be the 'harvestable' type, and one of her books inside told her that during the fall season her best bet in terms of coming to own creature produce would be either a trick serpent, succulent worm or skutirut... as it turned out, she had brought two of those three creatures back from the shops with her. She didn't know anything about what kind of things these creatures would produce, but she saw it as a learning experience.

There were six new residents to the garden, all learning to adjust to their new environment and new friends - it was a little bit chaotic after Sevyrn first returned. At least they all knew each other from back at the shop? Out of everything the skutirut and the succulent worm seemed to be the least interesting of the new creatures, but they seemed to be moving about with each other. How could the skutirut even see? It had no face of any kind... it had to have some kind of senses that guided it around?
Sevyrn would learn with time the unique intricacies of all of her new garden residents - for now she watched from her picnic table as the spriteling sapling and leaf scatter played around with each other in fallen leaves, though she was trying to focus on the plans in front of her... now she was going to need to go on a second trip today.
