Lethalia's first pet, traveling with her on the caravan for some time before bringing them both to settle in the city Estelle came from. The faeron is quite sweet, if not one of the biggest brats you'll find.

Though she's one of those high strung spooky equids, being Lethalia's primary mount has brought about a slight bit more confidence to the mare. Given guidance to keep her working past all of the spooks she thinks she sees, Mavelle will easily settle down into her playful, goofy nature. Her odd qualities make her quite the sensitive mount, requiring nothing less than the softest hands from an emotionally quiet rider. Needless to say, it's an experience in mediating one's own nerves in order to not pass it onto this touchy mount.
|| NOLAN || grey vulticus male level|15 loyalty|37 tricks|Name, No, Come, Stay, Follow, Sit, Lay Down, Fetch, Speak Up stats
Despite his hellhound-like vestige, Nolan is easily the softest hearted of the creatures Lethalia possesses. It's unclear why his personality doesn't align with his horned, blue-fire breathing self, but he doesn't appear to be aware of just how disquieting his appearance is to others.

A huge creature that can be arsed to deal with very few things that are smaller than himself. It's hard to tell if it's a gentle nature that leads him to being a faeron and sarane-hatchling jungle gym, or if the tiny pests are just not worth the effort.

vy·da·rr ; forest warrior
Cranky, sparsely-worded and a simple drake to the core. Giant from a potion and even larger from dominance and adulthood, fit from his training and the pit. A recipe for a suitably terrifying mature drake. A lumbering, lazy nature belies how fast the drake can be on his feet, and especially in the air. His ego is unmatched within in the kennel. Vidarr concerns himself most with the simple instincts one would expect a dominant drake to pursue; fighting, hens, territory, food. Not that any could pose a threat to his possessions, but they're to be defended all the same. It must be a testament of his loyalty that Lethalia is one of the only things able to take priority over his drakely duties. Most of the time. Dubiously honored with causing Lethalia's largest scars during a breaking; also known as her favorite companion in spite of it.

|| STARK || the pale brown sarane drake level|52 loyalty|42 abilities| Danger Sense, Intimidation, Hardy moves| Rend, Breath of Winter, Roar stats
Stark has a calmness about him that one might find acceptable in another species - but in an adult drake it's a rather unnerving trait. It matches his complexion, paler than normal for a brown, and washed-out amber eyes. His stint as a dominant drake left him a little larger, along with maturity granted him the heavy-lithe build reminiscent of an aged buck. Stark's bizarre pallor seems to be the consequence of his cold injection. It worked as it should to create a beast with winter's breath, but came along with blood that runs cold as ice, a reptile frigid to the touch and yet still somehow alive. His chilled blood causes him to frost over when stationary, giving him a ghost-like appearance at times. If sighted with his rimed coating shaken off, one could see that Stark is also beginning to grey, just like any other aging animal - aside from the fact that he's quite young. Nonetheless, his face has lost almost all of it's pigment to the point of grey spotting appearing on his horns, and the white of his underbelly and wingtips slowly encroaching on more space.

|| RIMEFANG || only the strong survive white sarane drake level|10 loyalty|0 stats
A literal wolverine. All wild animal, smaller and even more easily provoked than most drakes. As far as Rimefang is concerned, there's not much to life. Teeth and claws and being smart enough to survive out there - and there's Stark.Maybe his mate proves things out there aren't all horrible. If his mate can be born into a life of blood and pain all the same as Rime was, and yet able to come out of it on top - it gives the drake hope that he himself could manage the same.

|| ESTI || smoldering broodmother brown sarane hen level|34 loyalty|34 abilities|Danger Sense, Intimidation moves|Breathe Fire, Gash stats
es·ti ; honey, sweet
Esti may be sweet but she's opinionated and even without a ribbon, expresses what she likes quite easily. Even as a hatchling, she had a strong brooding instinct, constantly making small nests out of whatever material she could find. She grew up and the behavior persisted, and Lethalia ended up having to give up a nests' worth of galabex hides; it's not a terrible trade if it means everything else remains intact. She loves babies, to a very strongly maternal degree that seems to be mostly unusual among Sarane. Esti's quite doting with them, and certainly seems like the type who would readily steal a nestling from another hen. At least it means she's a great caretaker of the hatchlings. Undeniably the dominant matriarch over the lesser hens.

“In the true nature of things, if we rightly consider, every green tree is far more glorious than if it were made of gold and silver.”
Keen enough to pick up on things quite quickly, Gold has shown herself too short-attentioned and lacking focus to be interested in her humans' bullshit for very long. By no means does it appear a lack of intelligence, but the moment something becomes too repetitive or confusing, her willingness to work dissolves in an instant.

Somewhat timid; slow to try out new things or explore something scary unless she's gotten a chance to really think about it.

Fiera Ferella: I picked mine because ive always wanted to write an amphadron tbh. :0 I'm eager to see how it'll turn out!
Jul 11, 2020 22:00:43 GMT -6
Riku: Oh, I see what you mean now, Nerius. Dang...that’s a good point. How do we get around it? Naturally we will look at the opponent’s stats - which can’t be done IC. Hm.
Jul 11, 2020 14:30:04 GMT -6
Èdan: Not necessarily, there's stuff that can affect a foe's aim in the same turn
Jul 11, 2020 8:51:23 GMT -6
Nerius: The lack of suspense. I slogged through them all for the points, but it got super tedious to write. (This isn't specific to mosca, just a general 'why I'm eh on this tourny'.)
Jul 11, 2020 6:40:13 GMT -6
Nerius: And it's not about "winning", rather I was referring to the disaster that was my attempt at the petite tournament. And how one glance at the stats made me go 'yep, gonna loose this one', and be proven right in every single round. It's not the loss, but..
Jul 11, 2020 6:39:31 GMT -6
Nerius: Yes, the dreaded auto-hit or auto-miss can strike at any time, but what I mean is the only way a mosca is loosing is if there's a un/lucky dice roll.
Jul 11, 2020 6:36:02 GMT -6
Èdan: Don't forget there's moves and abilities that halve dex or affect the opponent's aim. Not to mention, never underestimate the cruelty of a natural 1
Jul 11, 2020 6:16:47 GMT -6
Riku: High dex can miss. I had an unbroken brown who won like three fights by sheer luck of the enemy missing over and over. Lol Besides, not to be cliche, but...it’s not all about winning. You can come in second place and still get 23 pit points.
Jul 11, 2020 0:48:50 GMT -6
Jack: Don't forget to PM me your intent if you're entering! I need to know before training!
Jul 10, 2020 17:29:29 GMT -6
Fanged: I'll be going with a huntress mosca build I have in mind.
Jul 10, 2020 17:12:28 GMT -6
Xentus: I'm the one who's entering fully intending to utilize the 9 dex flighty mosca. Curious to find what might beat it
Jul 10, 2020 17:07:55 GMT -6
Flare: In opinion, I have a kakum baakir set aside for Flare's usage, but I've never worked with it. It'll be a new species to work with. Just because soemone enters a 9 dex creature doesn't 100% mean they'll win.
Jul 10, 2020 17:04:42 GMT -6
Nerius: Would use one myself, but I don't want to waste a re-growth on something I'll never do anything with outside this tournament, especially since there's no guarantee there will be enough people for it to run.
Jul 10, 2020 15:53:52 GMT -6
Nerius: I was looking at the stats of the creatures that could be entered, when it was first announced. Someone enters a flighty mosca? They're going to win. There's nothing that can move faster, and nothing that can survive a hit from wing buff while in flight
Jul 10, 2020 15:52:37 GMT -6
Nerius: I've considered it, as I do want the pit points, but I dunno. My last attempt at tournament rush training uh, did not go well *coughwhiptailcough*. Plus I suspect someone's going to enter a mosca and basically auto-win.
Jul 10, 2020 15:49:29 GMT -6
Riku: Hopefully more people do. Counting myself, I think there’s only 4 right now. 🤔
Jul 9, 2020 17:21:27 GMT -6
Flare: I'm gonna enter
