Half-breed: Sirens Cunning: 5 Sentient Average Top Speed: 15 mph (swimming) Power Levels: 2 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 1 Strength: 1 Resistance: 1 Dexterity: 4 Mentality: 3 Special Abilities: Aquatic Moves: Dodge, Constrict Size Chart Reference: 1 Beautiful... graceful... and rare. With the crossing of a Haraichu and a Seryn, a literal mermaid was created. Though remarkably tiny, what these creatures- if they can be called such- lack in size, they make up for in intelligence. They are as sentient as any humanoid, perfectly aware and understanding- though they lack the ability to speak as Haras do. In fact, they don't make much noise at all. Over all, these beauties are pretty diverse, being omnivores (with a marked preference for water-related food such as fish and kelp), able to live in both fresh and salt water (fresh preference), and, though they must breathe are, they can hold their breath for two hours at a time. They're very social, adoring the company of other creatures and their masters. And be assured, once you have their loyalty, it sticks for life.

Half-breed: Oylempus Cunning: 4 Beast Average Top Speed: 25 mph swimming Power Levels: 3 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 4 Strength: 3 Resistance: 3 Dexterity: 3 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Stone Skin, Aquatic Moves: Dodge, Bite, Hydro Sphere, Hydro Jet Size Chart Reference: 4 What sort of insanity was this?... While certainly not the prettiest or most graceful of creatures, these... erm... things... certainly do have an affinity for water. Besides being fully aquatic, they are elementally aligned with it, able to manipulate it to assist in attacks. They swim using their finned tail as a rudder and using their "wings" to assist in gliding and turning. Their little hoof-like appendages are fairly useless besides striking out at foes- though, they do have a thick, hard skin that is difficult to penetrate, which assists in their battles. Despite the slight awkwardness associated with these creatures, they are quite intelligent, and are capable of all kinds of problem solving. They eat anything from sea weed to algae and small fish, and make odd, wavering calls and something like the parody of a neigh... All that asides, they are quite loyal creatures.

Half-breed: Faelaves Cunning: 4 Beast Average Top Speed: 30 mph Power Levels: 2 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 2 Strength: 1 Resistance: 0 Dexterity: 5 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Physical Immunity, Lone Wolf (Salaves, Faeron) Moves: Climb, Frost Bite, Illusion Size Chart Reference: 2 Small and serpentine, these little guys are quite agile. They have tiny little legs on which they can walk, albeit somewhat awkwardly- though these legs are mostly used for grip while climbing. Their bellies are capable of pulling them along, and when they do use this method of locomotion, their tiny little limbs fold flat against their sides. They are not social, and in fact seem a bit conceited, despite their miniscule stature... Though surprisingly, despite how small they are, they are immune to any sort of physical damage; it seems to just bounce right off them. You'll never find one with a cut of scratch. Perhaps this contributes to their bullet proof attitude... They're prone to nipping, which can be unfortunate, as they have a slight affinity with the cold element. Beware of frost "bite"! -pun- Another unique ability is the fact that they can create illusions through some sort of bending of the air around.

Half-breed: Salanelt Cunning: 4 Beast Average Top Speed: 40 mph Power Levels: 3 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 4 Strength: 4 Resistance: 2 Dexterity: 4 Mentality: 1 Special Abilities: Shadow Resistance Moves: Scamper, Bite Size Chart Reference: 3 Hee... hehehe... No, I'm sorry, seriously: these creatures are pretty dang intelligent. But many (myself included) can't help but find amusement in how they carry their very long bodies on three pairs of tiny, short legs. Despite their small size and somewhat awkward movemens, Salanelts still find it within themselves to be very territorial. Once they stake a claim on an area or object, it is theirs, and ye shall not pass without approval. They will not hesitate to nip and hustle intruders away to the best of their abilities, and even when incapable of driving off strangers, Salanelts will follow relentlessly after them to harass. Salanelts are also very stand-offish and independent, which may make it difficult for owners to bond with them- careful, bond before you bring them home! Otherwise they may well mark your home as "theirs" and try to drive you away. As far as care goes, Salanelts are low maitenance. They can even feed themselves, being fairly sufficient hunters of anything the size of a large rabbit or smaller. They scent out their prey by flicking their tongues out and drawing in scent, and after finding a target, will both attempt to wrap around them and bite at their neck. While, like snakes, Salanelts can swallow things bigger than their heads, they are still limited and must tear of chunks of meat before swallowing.

Half-breed: Clawion Cunning: 4 Beast Average Top Speed: 55 mph Power Levels: 4 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 6 Strength: 5 Resistance: 3 Dexterity: 4 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Speak, Run, Shadow Resistance Moves: Flame Bite, Hot Breath Size Chart Reference: 4 The Nightmare Factor hatched up THE beast of beasts on this one. Behold, carnivorous, short fur-covered pack hunters with mean aggression levels and smarts to boot. Though not quite sentient, these monsters can, at least, talk (with the proper training of course). They're very hot blooded, both in temper and in earnest- they can even 'bite' fire! They detest cold climates as a result, and also enclosed spaces. Most curious about their anatomy are their eyes... They have no eyes on their heads, but rather one on each shoulder and hindquarter, totaling to four. This gives them a blind spot directly in front and behind them, and as a result, they tend to turn their bodies / swing their torsos around frequently to get a full view of their surroundings, giving them a nervy appearance. Their tiny wings are useless, vestigial remnants of one of their parents. And that extra pair of legs... Well, Spirit only knows where they came from, but they use them quite well, and have an excellent sense of balance. Can you ride them? Sure... just good luck convincing them.

Half-breed: Ceberus Cunning: 3 Animal Average Top Speed: 30 mph, 40 mph (flying) Power Levels: 6 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 8 Strength: 9 Resistance: 7 Dexterity: 4 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Double-Headed, Fly Moves: Wing Buff, Howl Size Chart Reference: 4 These fellows are just a hodgepodge of spare parts; two fully developed, separate heads, a third, middle 'nub'; feathery wings used to support an upper body with no front legs; a line of spines that only goes down the canine... Hm. However, they are not without their uses; fairly strong and of average intelligence, these creatures can be very loyal companions or battle monsters. Both heads actively consume meat, and seem to have means of communicating with each other. While one rests, the other remains alert; they typically will share their food, although only one swallows at a time. Both heads may make the full range of sounds of their respective species. While over all smaller than one might have expected, these critters are strong and sturdy, and yes, they can carry riders.

Half-breed: Ouroboros Cunning: 3 Animal Average Top Speed: 30 mph swimming Power Levels: 8 Special Requirements: None Notes: Exotic (swimming) Riding to ride Stamina: 10 Strength: 11 Resistance: 8 Dexterity: 8 Mentality: 3 Special Abilities: Aquatic, Double-Headed Moves: Frost Bite, Constrict, Whirlpool Size Chart Reference: 8 These things are... interesting, now aren't they?... Both heads have fully functioning brains capable of thoughts, wants, needs, emotional attachments, personalities- the works. Whether or not the heads get along... well, results may vary; though typically we would expect that they don't fight too much; after all, they share pain and need to share a body. The larger head, having control of the bigger muscle groups, controls most of their movement, though the smaller one can war for control with enough effort. They are carnivorous, hunting with deception and stalking techniques, and while they share a stomach, both heads seem to war over the pleasures of being the one to swallow food. They excrete waste using a cloaca in the center of ther belly, and swim using an "S" swim pattern.

Half-breed: Naakshig Cunning: 4 Beast Average Top Speed: 35 mph Power Levels: 4 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 3 Strength: 4 Resistance: 2 Dexterity: 6 Mentality: 5 Special Abilities: Natural Antivenom, Shadow Immunity, Light Weakness Moves: Bound, Wither, Screech Size Chart Reference: 3 These are simply odd little creatures- well, dog-sized creatures. They have compact, furry bodies with distinct skeletal marks, and whispy, almost ethreal manes. They are creatures of shadow, despising light, with the ability to screech like banshees and with a natural immunity to all venoms. They are omnivores, preferring nuts, seeds, and grasses with the occasional bit of meat. They're oddly sensitive little creatures, being aware of everything going on around them and gazing on with their large, baleful eyes. These crosses are of average temperament, neither particularly aggressive nor passive. They are, though, quiet and observant, making few noises save for the occasional snort or soft chitter of curiosity.

Half-breed: Galion Cunning: 3 Animal Average Top Speed: 45 mph Power Levels: 4 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 7 Strength: 4 Resistance: 2 Dexterity: 5 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Forest Dweller, Danger Sense Moves: Horn Strike, Charge, Kick Size Chart Reference: 4 By combining a Wild Equillion and Regal Galabex, a creature of speed, dexterity, and grace has been created. Their bodies are made for running- a roomy rib cage allows for large lungs and a huge heart. Paired with their long, albeit somewhat delicate legs, you'll be lucky to catch this animal when it sprints. The antlers of a Galabex and the horn of an Equllion seemed to have merged into one massive bony protrusion that starts at the muzzle and ends at the back of the head. Though the antlers are massive, these are hardly aggressive creatures; in fact, they're somewhat timid and very cautious. They also seemed to have taken after the more solitary nature of the Galabex, rather than the herding instincts of the Equillion. However, they are very sure-footed mounts, and while the Wild Equillion is petite, the Regal Galabex is the larger of its species, and a balance has been created. Thus, these creatures can carry one person and some supplies comfortably; however, two people would be trying, and it's certainly not recommended for use of a pack animal.

Half-breed: Galius Cunning: 3 Animal Average Top Speed: 40 mph Power Levels: 4 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 6 Strength: 5 Resistance: 3 Dexterity: 4 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Forest Dweller Moves: Horn Strike, Bite, Bound, Roar Size Chart Reference: 5 Galius, while a bit odd looking to some, are efficient predators. They seem to have the swiftness of Galabex and bound easily through the forests, lighter than most canines could ever accomplish. However, because of their very narrow and deer-like muzzle, their bite range is very narrow as their jaws cannot open quite as wide. Because of this, and their (mostly) flat teeth, Galius are largely herbivorous. If looking at the skull of these creatures, one would notice that they have the up-and-down side-to-side motion of a grazing animal. Why do they have fangs? Well, they're somewhat "leftover" parts, but they also provide the option of "disciplining" those who step out of the social hierarchy. Galius seem to have the social structure of Vultici, though they lack a pack, and will fill the empty roles with whatever creatures are around them most- other pets, even their owners. Galius have thin antlers in comparison to Galabex, ones prone to easy breakage. As a result, they are not used terribly much, though they can be- instead they are frequently employed as intimidation methods. Galius will shake their antlers are threats and flare out their small, useless wings in hopes to scare off threats.

Half-breed: Poko Cunning: 4 Beast Average Top Speed: 20 mph Power Levels: 1 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 2 Strength: 1 Resistance: 0 Dexterity: 2 Mentality: 0 Special Abilities: Chlorophyll, Fire Weakness, Cold Weakness, Earth Resistance, Acid Resistance Moves: Tail Slap, Scratch, Scamper, Climb Size Chart Reference: 1 Aw... Lookit the fuzzy... The partially plant and fungus fuzzy... Yes, that's right: these little guys seemed to have inherited the mushroom appendages of hte kinoko and the leafy "wings" of the pachee- which, I might add, can absorb sunlight as a nutritional substance, though it is not quite enough to live off of. They're quite placid and sweet tempered, almost timid- after all, they are highly vulnerable to fire, cold, violence, scary things... No, just kidding, they actually have a bit of a resistance to earth and acidic attacks- but you wouldn't really want to battle them, would you? They're so sweet. They simply love their human companions, and are happy to play in gardens of just sit in sunlight. They enjoy fruit, berries, rotting leaves... If threatened, they tend to swing their tail around as means of defense and scamper away. Also, they are mostly silent creatures.

Half-breed: Nyssabu Cunning: 2 Critter Average Top Speed: 15 mph Power Levels: 2 Special Requirements: None Notes: None Stamina: 2 Strength: 2 Resistance: 2 Dexterity: 2 Mentality: 2 Special Abilities: Forest Dweller Moves: Scratch, Kick, Verdant Growth Size Chart Reference: 2 About the size of large dogs and possessing a barrel-like shape, this cross is a sight to behold when it ambles down the street. It has a rolling gait to accompany its girth, rather like a beaver. Unlike most Nyssa crosses, it has an extensive ability to suck nutrients from the soil, although giving them bits of fruit for a treat is not unheard of. These creatures, while very social and friendly, are also fairly silent, with the exception of the occasional "boop" and the rustle of fuzzy vegetation on their tails. These creatures will never, ever fight, not even in self defense. If attacked, they will probably be dumbly bewildered- they are not the smartest creatures, you see- and try to scamper away. Thankfully, they're also fairly easy to train (simply concepts), so if you're just looking for a (rather odd) companion, these are the critters for you. You can even pick sweet fruit off their tails!
