An illusion show, eh? Wind and psychic powers... Fiera admittedly didn't have many pets that fit that particular bill. That didn't matter though, because she had one old reliable that she knew could carry out those orders perfectly. Victor sat perfectly still by her side as she filled out the paperwork for him to enter the contest. Contests weren't normally his thing- she had primarily trained him for combat- but he still followed orders to a T, regardless of how many stupid outfits she dressed him up in. Perhaps earlier in their history he wouldn't put up with it, but by now he knew her well enough that there was a point to it, even if he didn't personally understand it. Besides, it was an excuse to get him out of the house- something he always appreciated. She slipped the registration paperwork back over the counter. They were ready to go.

Silver was quite curious about the Contest Hall's newest announcement - an Illusion Show. That was not one they had ever seen before, so they were quite interested in learning more about it. It favored illusions and creatures with psychic powers. Silver could think of a few creatures which fit that description, though not all of them were very good performers. In the end, they chose to work out a routine with Thoth, who had done very well at his last showing where he took first prize. His unusual look and powerful magic did well to wow the judges. He was a shy creature, however, and hovered extremely close to Silver as they made their way to the registry office. "Shh, it'll be alright," Silver said softly, taking the time to touch their forehead to his. Thoth trusted Silver, and though he hated swarms of people, he knew that Silver would not lead him astray. "Ah, hello," Silver said, as if surprised when they reached the front of the registration line. "This is my Amphadron, Thoth, and we, we want to enter the, ah.. Illusion Show. Thank you." Illusions, huh. Xentus had very few creatures of his in mind when he thought of the word. The ethereal golossle would likely make for an interesting showing, though it wasn't quite tame.. Astraea was slightly aligned with the idea of 'smoke and mirrors', though it was a stretch. In the end, he decided on the halfbreed bird of (relatively) recent acquisition. The aetherix was a being between worlds, threading the line between material and ethereal. Illusory? Somewhat, and somewhat was enough for him to decide on entering the bird. Elysian loomed close to the man as they made their way to register for the contest, seeming to skulk in his shadow. This would be the bird's first experience out in a public setting... And it wasn't too keen on this whole ordeal. "You are ok, Ely", the man muttered quietly, realizing its discomfort among the small group of people and pets entering as well. A clawed hand reached to rub the creature's glassy feathers, to which it seemed to relax. "Xentus is entering his halfbreed, Elysian for the upcoming show", the man informed the reception desk once his turn came around.
