These contests never became easier, did they? However, Zenjesi was keenly aware that this Gilded Mocker Gallor was able to magically access powers that their other Gallor could not. It still struck them as curious that such an unusual beast had been found in the APAA; how someone could be overwhelmed or off-put by these hidden abilities was unfathomable to Zenjesi. Now, the question was simply if they know how to communicate to the Gallor that she ought to demonstrate her tricks to the judges. The answer was that they did not. These tricks had, for the most part, only occurred at the Gallor's discretion. But she did know one thing, and perhaps the mere sight of the unusual Gilded Mocker variety would prove enough to impress the judges. They entered the hall on this particular day with the Gallor at their side. Her head was turning on a swivel, curious and eager as ever. "I am entering Vivial."

Well... That last contest went rather poorly, and he wasn't setting himself up for success this time either. The magic show was hoping to host bouts of magical feats, elemental displays, and bouts of mental prowess. And he had... What was presumably the latter of the bunch. The potential for the latter of the bunch, at that. His companion for this was a giant bug. A giant ghost bug. Who didn't have much in the way of training or affinity for himself or anything really. The incorporeal were a fascinating subject all the same, and the golossle could offer that much reliably. If he had spent more time with the creature, he could show off its full potential. Alas, a bit of show and tell would need to suffice. The man came up to register, offering his name along side the golossle's to secure their spot in the contest. It was better than nothing!

Magic shows were one of Silver's favorite contests, since it allowed them to get extremely creative with their act. The amount of things they could do seemed infinite, so they had a hard time narrowing it down. Last time they entered a magic show, they took third place, and this time they thought they could do better. They put together a brand new routine for the same creature and headed down to the hall to register. Lumie followed Silver closely, for she was quite shy around people. She weaved in and out of their legs as they moved, sometimes jumping straight through their tail as it swayed behind them. Silver acted like they didn't notice it at all, but they were secretly keeping a close eye on her to ensure that she was comfortable and felt safe. That was more important than any potential ribbon they could win. When it was their turn to register, they sped through the information they needed to give. They had been practicing it in their head all the way there to make sure they got it right. The person taking down the information looked a bit confused for a moment, but otherwise seemed to get all the right things written down. [157.25, 12.8]

Ingway was a beautiful creature with a sparkling mane made of stardust and magic. I knew that he was an excellent fit for the upcoming magic show. I brought him to another magic show a while back, but he failed to place. Perhaps the judges were just having an off day. It was worth trying again, I thought. At the very least, entering the show would always reflect well on my points ledger, even if Ingway was not skilled enough to win. I carefully surveyed the competition as I entered the hall. The handful of creatures I could see all exuded magical energy, just like Ingway did. That was not the best sign, but I believed in his ability to woo a crowd. "My name is Star," I said politely when I came to the front of the line. "I am here to enter the magic show with my Nebuli, Ingway." I gestured to Ingway who was busy staring at one of his fellow competitors. [28.55, 5]

Another day, another contest. Her last one had gone well- how couldn't it, with Victor by her side? Savitri though... he was a bit of a tougher sell. He was mischievous and not very prone to actually listening to her. She hoped the formality of the contest hall would induce some sensibility in him. If not... well, it was going to be a very interesting show either way, and hopefully not in an embarrassing way. "Yes hello, I'd like to enter the Magic contest." Fiera said, reaching for a form to fill out. It was easy enough to fill in the details with her own memorized information. Savitri's was a little harder, being a non-standard breed, but soon she had the form all filled out and ready to go. "You'd better behave." She said, glancing back at the travel tank. He merely blew a stream of bubbles at her in response. They would have to see.
