Remember those pesky "Limited Customs" or "Custom Specials" or whatever else we've called them, the critters that Fleashops can give out kind of like VSC?
Those are now called FVSC because they were confusing. That's 'Fleashop VSC' and should be much easier to remember.
Remember to use the Custom Pet Stat Updates to get these registered, since the stats are registered in the customs area. |

After a large amount of consideration, there has been a change made to the Hunter's Lodge! - The Hunter's Lodge has now clarified that they will find you a harachiu, but ONLY one of the VSC ones (Pixie, Brownie) and not the regular ones. In fact; for a DOUBLED fee, they are now willing to look for Silver, Gold, and Crystal tat-lungs... Mature Crystal tat-lungs will have randomized gem colors, and will be unique. They still refuse to look for the Jade Tat-lung, which is not technically a tat-lung at all.There you go, folks! Those Daring Hunter's Lodge folks are at it again! |

There is now a new type of permit available! Estates!Estates are a type of property that combines all of the kinds of private permits together for space saving purposes! You cannot buy an estate. But you can always combine any number of private permits together into an estate. I suggest maxing out your other permits before combining them into an estate, because you cannot buy more spaces specifically for your estate. But you always can buy another permit and then request to have that property put into the estate. As you can imagine, if you don't max out the property permit before adding it to your estate, it will always cost you in the long run, since you have to buy a whole new permit, but it's worth it if you have lots of maxed-out permits! |

The ability Hardy has been reworded to clarify what it actually does. Hardy Creature is strong in both body, mind and spirit. Intimidation and Commanding Presence do not affect this creature at all. Damage over time effects are halved (rounded up). In addition, anything affecting the creature's stats over time only work up to three turns. (If they go beyond that normally, it will be only three turns. If they would normally be less than that, then they remained unchanged.) Passive - 5 We haven't run into any trouble that I know of with it yet, and the slight reworded 'changes' that were made don't really effect anything going on currently. So it is fine. - Remember those pesky 'Sound Moves' that disable Danger Sense? There is now a new 'term' called SnD. This new term is actually just there to show you the moves that are considered 'sound moves' that both bypass danger sense, and are not affected by the broad secondary-effect removal of stuff like Iron Will. The SnD label does not change anything that was going on already in the pit of course, it just lets you know easily which moves are in fact considered Sound based for the uses already ruled in the pit. It's to make it easier for you to find and for clarifcation's sake. Nothing has really been changed here! |

A continuance of yesterday:
Diurnal Spirit and Night-Vision will ONLY protect against 'additional' effects.
So, if the move says:
MOVE
I do [Damage] and then [blaghblaghblaghnondamage].
Then they would negate the and then [blaghblaghblaghnondamage], but not the damage.
but if the move says:
Move
I do [blaghblaghblaghnondamage].
Then the ability doesn't work at all against the move, and the move will work.
This is apparently how it has always worked as well, so not a change.
Sorry for the previously wrong information I accidentally gave out yesterday, sometimes we get new information found after the fact. |

Training has been updated! You can now train in the Mines, Gardens, and Mansion! However, you need to have permission to do so. Please post in the linked thread with the appropriate information and we will post approval or denial based on a few factors. Not everything can be taught everywhere, keep that in mind! Mods have the final say in the matter, if there is arguing, this permission will be taken away from the entire site and it will be purely in the Public Park once more. RA EDIT: We no longer have the ability to rotate the images of Seasonal Pet Changes via the code; so please use the pet rotation requests for all of your rotation needs. Don't rotate your seasonal pets without posting there though! |

Backstory: I donated all of the items I bought for an old project of mine to the site. ;3
- Some new items have hit the shops!-    The Contest Hall has received a shipment of really nice matching gear for your mounts and other precious show pets!    The Supply and Demand has stocked lots of new items, including some matching luxury item sets and the New 'Travel!' lineup!   The Moonlit Loom now has a couple of new options for critter fashion, with fanciful patterns!   And lastly, the Playful Pup is now stocking some more basic toys that one might see in 'normal' pet shops, with a nice colorful twist! |

As I am Sure most of you have seen already; there is a new sort of Alteration for pets! Though heavily restricted, this option is certainly nice to have to give your special pet a little statistical difference if you'd like.  What a frightening looking thing, so many pointy bits! - In addition, there is a bit of an uproar going on in the town square; someone is calling out excitedly! Upon getting closer, you can hear a miner whooping, holding a pickaxe above her head. At her waist, a slender houluh pup stands, his ears perked. "HEY I found something super neat in the mines! I couldn't quite get it out without breaking it, but look at this!" She rushes up to you, holding a strange broken rock of some kind in her hand atop a handkerchief. It doesn't look like much... "I swear, it's like nothing I've seen before-" She started, but before she could get it out, someone holds up a wallet. "I'll buy it off of you, ma'am!" The exchange was done before you could get a good look at it. What was all of that about? The houluh just looks at you and wags its tail in a good natured fashion as the woman counts the credits she has been given. Maybe you should go mining and see what you can dig up? Might be nothing... |

Good news: The Draconic Files were found!That's right, Draconic Breeding is a thing again! Remember the following-The pair must be able to produce eggs, and fertilize them. The draconic pair must come from two different lairs. The pair must have a roleplay in The Clutch Temple with 25 posts over the course of a month for the breeding to work. You will need to apply HERE to get a 'breeding room' thread for the month for the pair! :DHave fun folks; and please consider giving some babies to the Rookery, even though the draconic number restriction was lifted. <3 EDIT: Devaros are currently unable to breed! This is because we do not yet have a Devaros baby file, and the adult file is...
Uh, ugly. I'd like to get them redone at some point but no promises. |

Darky has made a lovely growth for the Hainu Rakai, since there was not one available!  There is now an official VSC Growth Request thread for those pesky VSCs that never grew up for whatever reasons. :3 - EDIT: Since there has been confusion, this is only for creatures that we HAVE images for. (IE: Dynasty tat lung has no mature image, so it wouldn't count.) This is not a request something to be drawn thread at this time. |

The other day, we made some fixes to the Draconics Tutorial to hopefully alleviate some of the confusions about Draconics; and all of the info is in one spot. It is currently the only thread in the Canyon of Eterra Tutorials area, since that part of the site is separated geographically by the labs. It's a lengthy read, but everything was added that I could find about draconics that was canon under the rules required to even allow folks to breed draconics. Please give it a read if you think you may want to get into draconics!-       As you can see above, the Rookery has plenty of baby draconics looking for a clan or humanoid partner if you want to get started. As promised, ALL 'basic' draconics are now only adopted straight from the Rookery; think adopting a child.    There are also some really neat adults that may want a second chance at an adventure! - Note: Draconic Breeding was also opened up a few announcements above this one. c: |
