Well, Kadin was here. Again. It was honestly getting to be a little embarrassing how often he ended up here? But he'd made a promise. Even if he hadn't made said promise to the puppies themselves, he'd made it to himself, too. Cookie was trained and grown. She was thriving in his care. But there were still those two other puppies, left here, that seemed to have been here for... a while.
Someone had to do something about it, right? He couldn't just stand by and watch them not get adopted. Right? If it had been this long... if he'd already adopted and trained two other houluh and those two puppies were still here... who else was going to do it? So, with a sigh, he walked into the agency and filled out one of the forms.
"I'm back." He said with a tight smile as he handed them over to the person in charge. "Both the pups I got from here are doing great, by the way. They're very easy to train."

Murr knew this voice. Two successful adoptions under their belt - that was worthy of the uthax's respect. "Of course. Follow me." She led them through to the back room and stood by for them to make a choice. "Please take your time."

Kadin might have even admitted that he was relieved when the uthax didn't bat an eye when he presented his form. He really had been here... a lot. But as long as that was fine with the person who runs the place, it was probably fine with literally everyone else out there. So he followed her back into the kennels, eyes already roaming to see if the puppies were still there.
Yup. There they were.
"Thank you." He said, walking over to the kennels with the two puppies that had been there the longest. "But I already know which one I want to get." He crouched down, sticking his fingers through the bars to Puppy K's kennel, grinning when the pup cautiously sniffed at his fingers. "I couldn't come here without going home with your again, now could I?" He tease the pup, looking up at uthax to see what she thought about his decision. "I'll take home Puppy K."

Murr nodded. She was careful when she scooped up the pup, and let Cocoa guide her back to the front desk, where it was transferred into a basket. "Here we go. Pup K will go with Kadin of Flamestone Kennels. As always, let us know if you cannot fulfil the puppy's obligations."

She had told herself a long time ago she wouldn't come here, but it had been so long and she knew the pup was still there, unfortunately. What was she supposed to do? She couldn't leave it there forever, that was just wrong. Sighing, she pushed open the door to the Houluh Adoption Agency and stepped inside, smiling and waving to the Uthax behind the counter. Of course she had heard she was blind, but it was force of habit at this point, and she gave a low chuckle before introducing herself as she stepped up to the counter. "Hello, I'm Jack, and I was hoping to adopt a puppy," the woman said, pulling a sheet and a pen to herself so she could fill out the paperwork, "I hear one of my donations hasn't gone home yet, and it's been at least half of a year, I was hoping to try for that one, I suppose."

Murr listened in as the potential adopter spoke, and nodded, accepting the paperwork from her. “Of course. Come with me, please,” She stood, allowing Cocoa to lead her back to where the puppies were kept. “Do you see the puppy here?”

Jack listened to the Uthax speak with a smile on her face, the voice seemed to be a little low and rumbly, but she was sure it was different for everyone who came here, some people did that sort of thing on purpose, and some didn't do it on purpose at all, that was just how they sounded sometimes. The woman followed obediently and looked around at the little ones she saw. Three of them were ones she had donated from breedings she had done, and one was.... oh that one was adorable. Jack found herself stepping toward Puppy V before shaking her head, no, she was on a mission and she wouldn't be deterred. "I'll take puppy F," she said with a smile, kneeling down at the little kennel it was in and sticking a finger in. The puppy looked sad and slowly licked at her finger, and she rubbed it's jowls a little in return.

Ah, Pup F. Murr was relieved as Cocoa led her over to the correct pen - that pup had been waiting for a home for a long time, and she was happy they would finally get one. “Alright. Pup F will go to Jack of Natural’s Preserve. Please let us know if you cannot fulfil your obligations to this puppy.” Once the pup had been placed in a basket, they were ready to go!

Back she was, again. Nadia hadn't felt comfortable with showing her face in front of Murr since her failure to adopt a puppy, and was still dreadfully nervous as she rocked up outside the building, but she forced herself to hold her nerve. It would be okay. It wasn't like she was abusive, unkind, or otherwise unsuitable to raise houluh - she had many that thrived in her care, and all she wanted to do was supply more with a loving home. It was no crime. She was awfully sheepish when she walked up to take the paperwork and begin filling it in. In fact, she hadn't the nerve to speak to Murr at first. It wasn't until she was halfway down the page that she thought she was being terribly rude, and found her voice again. "Hello, Murr," She offered. Her uncertainty was clear in her voice; she pushed the form across the desk with trembling fingers. It was all such an embarrassment to her, even if no one else remembered or cared. "I would like to be considered to adopt a puppy."

Murr heard the door open and the person scratching the pen across the paper before they spoke. Ah, she believed it was the one who had failed to meet the requirements, but she had heard the man who had adopted that pup had given it to her after it was all trained up. Still, she smiled as she put a hand on Cacao's head, "Yes of course. Once you've finished filling out the paperwork, come with me." Cacao led her to the area with the puppies as she motioned for the woman to follow.

Nadia hung her head as she followed. Murr didn't sound disappointed, but she was still embarrassed by the whole situation - if she could've avoided it, she would have, but things happened and unfortunate circumstances fell upon her. The best thing to do moving forward was to see this as a chance for redemption.
She looked at the pups available and felt her heart leap. There was one from her latest breeding, looking terribly young in their little pen. They'd get a good home, she was sure, but it was difficult knowing she couldn't take them herself. Nevermind. The other two on offer were both striking in different ways, but one caught her attention for their interesting facial markings.
"Hello, darling," The pup came to her as she cooed, and offered a hesitant tail wag. In an instant, it was settled in her mind. "Murr, may I please take Pup T with me today?"

Smiling, Murr nodded as her fingers felt the tag that labeled Pup T, "Pup T will be going with Nadia of Bloomwood House, please let us know if you can't meet the requirements with this pup." She put the pup into a basket and handed it over with another smile.

It had been awhile since she had been to the HAA, the last time had been to adopt Chunk, her cute little liver Houluh pup from Cocoa. He looked pretty much just like his dad, which wasn't a bad thing, but that had meant no one had wanted to adopt him, so she had come along after awhile and gotten it done. All he needed now was his show and they would be good to breed if someone wanted to! Strolling into the HAA, hands in her pockets, she picked up a form and started to fill it out, "Hello there, I'm hoping to adopt, I've heard of a pup here who peaked my interest at least!" Jack smiled and pushed the form across the counter toward Murr and her Houluh. It was a cold day outside, so she had brought a blanket to put over the basket if she indeed brought a new puppy home today.

It had been a little while since Kadin had been here. The puppy he'd adopted previously was doing well, working with one of his other houluh in order to eventually make his debut in the contest hall. Kadin was pleased with his progress so far, but there'd been a certain puppy he'd had his eye on for a while now, and it was finally time for him to go pick it up. So today he headed to the adoption agency and filled out the form. It took him a minute to remember how long ago he'd adopted the last puppy, but eventually he had the whole form filled out and handed it over. Now all he had to do was wait and go back to see the puppies. He hoped he didn't look too impatient about it, either, after all. The pup he wanted was one that was a bit special to him, personally.

Jack;
The Uthax smiled as she heard the voice. This person had adopted a puppy who had been overlooked for quite some time, and Murr was sure she would be able to handle another one. "Of course, please come with me," she said happily, hand on Cacao as she led her to the back, "Let me know which one you're thinking of."
Kadin;
Ah, a frequent adopter! All of his Houluh had done rather well she knew, which was good, so she had no qualms about adopting out another to him. Smiling, she nodded, "Once you're done with your paperwork, please follow me!" Heading toward the back where the kennels were, she waited.
