The wild Koguma picked a few pieces of fruit and ate them. Gideon wasn’t much interested in eating fruit. Her diet tended to lean towards one that was quite strictly carnivore. Fanged didn’t quite know of that was a species wide preference or a Gideon specific one. She grabbed the grapes that Gideon handed her and took a bite out of curiosity. She then spat it out. An acrid, sour taste immediately met her tongue and she rubbed her sleeve against her mouth to help rid it of the taste. The Koguma watched the scene with amusement and quickly accepted the rest of the grapes that Fanged handed to it. Why had the human eaten them if it didn’t like them? Either way it had been funny to watch!
“Well if you’ve had your fill from here, we could try searching other areas for some more palatable fruit,” Fanged suggested.

The Koguma nodded eagerly. It had never seen so much food in one place and it was curious to see what other things they could find as well. Gideon was eager to leave as well. If they went far enough, maybe she would get to eat something she liked as well. They moved back into the cherry blossom trees, this time opting to take a different path. The Koguma was quick to show them which way to go. As they made their way deeper into the garden, the sound of birdsong reached them. Birds tended to gather where there was food to be found, at least Fanged had found this to be anecdotally true. They found themselves in another field, though this was had a variety of berry bushes to pick from. The Koguma made an exclamation of happiness. These two strangers had brought it so much good luck in finding food!
