Maybe once one of the other eggs hatched she would come and socialize with the baby Tat-lung at the river, but at the same time it was getting a little old. It didn't really matter, she figured, but that was fine for her. She smiled a little as she thought of what the hatchlings might look like, at least when they were grown. Sometimes the eggs really let her know what was going on, but there wasn't much she could do until they were grown. She just wished the dreamer would come to her finally. Right now she needed to look at Shine though, she figured as she tossed the line into the water again, giving the Tat-lung baby a smile. It didn't matter much what she did as long as she got some fish and the like after awhile, and she hoped that everything would go well in the future and everything with the Tat-lung.

Jack just hoped she was going to do Shine something good in the future, she figured with a little smile. All she knew was that things needed to happen if she was going to get anything well. The eggs would probably hatch soon and she didn't know if she would be there in time for her to get any loyalty to them. Shrugging, she wasn't sure what to do about things at the moment, except for fish a little bit and all that, but she didn't really care all that much either. At least she had a little bit to do with Shine, and then they could go home. All she knew was that things were going to be fine in the long run, but she really hoped Shine would actually like her a bit when she was grown again. It was all alright, she knew as she tugged on her fishing line.

What was she going to do when she thought of Shine all grown? It didn't make much sense to her, and she wondered what was going to happen in the future. Jack sighed a little and wondered what she wanted to do with her, what was she going to train her for? All she knew was that things would be alright in the end, and the Tat-lung might actually like her now. Whatever happened, at least she had that thought to comfort her. It was going to go well after a moment or two, and she pulled the line in to check and see if anything had caught. No, it didn't appear to be, might as well get around and all that to go home and see about the eggs. She didn't know what to do about them though, and that might be a good thing! At least she wondered what she was going to do with them.

Jack gathered her items and put a few late found shells into her bucket, wondering if they would be worth anything in the long run. It was going to be fine all around things, she knew, and the woman smiled a little as she gathered up Shine into the bucket as well and then put the bucket on the little cart she had with her. All she knew was that things would go well whenever she was going to get her grown again, and Shine might actually listen to her at this point. Hopefully she knew that things would work out between them, and the woman was pleased with everything that was going to happen in the long run. All she knew was that her life was going to be interesting with Shine grown, and she smiled, patted her Tat-lung on the head, and then set off to head home after a little while.

It looks like your adventure with your Tat-lung went quite well- you managed to find some interesting critters before you left!

Well this was different. She figured most of her inner dialogue started that way, but... what was she supposed to do about it? Jack sighed a little and watched as Terrence swam around in the river, fighting the swift current for awhile before he just let himself go after a little while, being rather lazy as he figured it was easier this way. He beamed at the woman for a moment and wondered what to do about it at this point. Jack smiled a little and reached a hand out to him, wondering what she should do. Nothing was going to go on at the moment if she didn't try out her fishing gear again. Fishing with the Tat-lung before now had drained her a little, but she wanted a Seryn to grow again, and she hoped that everything would be well after awhile. Maybe she would get things going no matter what.

Maybe nothing would come of this trip, she didn't really know, but she had to try as much, she figured. Jack smiled a little as she tried to figure out what to do with all that was happening, but it wasn't like she had a lot to do. Shouldering her net and pole, she smiled a little and gestured at Terrence, this way. All would be well, she figured as they headed upstream. She wondered what was going to happen at the same time, nothing was going to go wrong with this, and she was sure that things would go alright in the long run. Jack smiled a little as Terrence wondered what was going to happen this time. He'd never been fishing before! It seemed rather barbaric to him, but whatever, he liked her and that was all that mattered. All she had left to wonder was what was going to happen right now.

Whatever was going on, she hoped that everything would wind up fine. Jack sighed a little and she shook her head, glancing over at Terrence, hoping that things would be alright in the end of it all. Pushing on, she reached her favorite spot on the river, and she wished that things would be alright. Hopefully fish would fly at her after awhile, but she wasn't going to hope too much for it, she doubted that things were going to be alright. Shaking her head, she glanced over at the fish again and smiled a little, the Seryn was getting a little bigger, but that wasn't much to do with things at the moment. Jack reached down and rubbed his head before she set down her bucket of water and then cast her line into the water, hoping to find at least something eventually. Maybe having her net out as well would work out.

Well then, it was time to fish. Terrence bobbed along in the water next to the bobber for a little while before getting bored and coming over to the edge of the river. He was bored with how things were going and wish he knew how to fly, and that was part of what he really wanted to do. Other fish got to fly, so why didn't he at this point? Jack smiled at him, "Don't worry, you'll learn to fly soon enough, man. Just be patient with me, okay?" He nodded a little and swam off again, a little sad about things, but there wasn't much else he could do about it at the moment. Whatever, it didn't really matter in the long run, it was just something he hoped for in the future, maybe after he grew like his father and sister had already, then maybe things would be different.

She wasn't sure what to expect from this fishing trip and all that, but she didn't really care at the same time. Pushing her hair back, she hoped she could find something good at the end of it all, but maybe that wouldn't happen. Nothing too big for the moment, she figured, but the little things were good too at this point, and she didn't want to fight something big right now. As she settled back against a big rock, she watched as Terrence swam around, hoping that he wouldn't get snagged on the line or anything at this point. He was pretty smart though, she had to give him that much, so he wouldn't get caught up in the line or anything she thought. Hopefully things would get better as time went on, she just had no idea what she wanted from things right now. She was just waiting on a few things, and it was starting to get frustrating.

The first indication of the wet season, was the first few plops of rain landing in front of her. Sighing, she looked up at the sky and noticed the dark clouds hovering overhead at this point. Whatever, it would bring out the fish a little bit better, she figured with a smile. Shrugging a little, she hoped that things would work out for her at the moment, and she didn't care what to do other than fishing at the moment, and at least the Seryn with her was doing well as well. He rolled onto his back in the water and then beamed as the rain tickled his tummy. It was great no matter what, and that was all the same to her. Wondering what to do at the moment, she hoped that things would work out for her. Everything was fine for her at the moment, and the rain would pull the fish up a little better.

As long as it just sprinkled a little, she could handle that. Jack took out a plastic poncho and covered herself with it after reeling in her line for a moment with a little smile on her face. At least this was interesting enough, she figured with a little sigh, happy though it was. After this fishing session, she was sure Terrence would grow again and be the same as his father and sister, but that was still a ways to go, and she knew it would be only a matter of time before she knew that rains would come down much heavier. Casting her line again, she smiled over at the fish and rubbed his belly when he got close to the shore. He was a silly little fish, but pretty eager to please, which was a good thing when it came to training. She just had issues realizing Seryn were sentient, however, so it took her a little time to try and get ready for it.

If nothing else, she should be able to get some good fish from this trip. She smiled at the Seryn and waved at him as he waved at her and then splashed about in the rain. Her poncho and hat kept her relatively dry in the rain, but knew it was only a matter of time before she would have to go under the overhang in order to stay dry, and from there she wouldn’t be able to fish. Terrence could just curl up under the overhang with her if he wanted to stay relatively dry, but he could also stay in the water, provided he swim well and all that. That was the issue with Seryn, he didn’t need to stay in the water anymore, but at the same time, he liked it, but he wasn’t the strongest swimmer, instead staring at the sky to see if he could manage to fly. Jack wished she would train him, but for now she was content on leaving things the way they were.

Whatever, it didn’t matter much at the moment did it? He was happy in the water and that was all that mattered right now. Jack sighed a little and recast her line into the water after reeling it back in. Not much was biting on her bait or anything, but that might change later on, she supposed. Hopefully she could catch a few things and not just plants and find shells, but at the same time, it all didn’t matter in the long run. Hopefully Curious Collections would take some of this stuff sometime, but there was no way to be certain. Maybe things would work out in the long run for her, but that was hard for her to understand at the same time. Scratching her head, she hoped that nothing would get in the way of her goals, but it didn’t matter much if she didn’t get into the mines. It was just harder to take a fish into the mines than it was to the river.
