Just Around...

With a basic hook on the end of her line and a bobber hanging out as well a little further up, Jack speared a couple of pieces of fish onto the hook and then cast her line into the water. The water was slightly calmer in this spot, but there was still a decent current all things considered, so she wasn't sure what all she would be able to catch, but that didn't really matter. Just the act of fishing was calming sometimes, and she managed to force a small smile at the pup for a moment before letting her face fall again. It was too hard right now, she didn't know what to do. Things had been going okay for a little while, but something was wrong and she really couldn't put a finger on it, which really bothered her. Usually she could figure something out, but it just wasn't happening today.
