Jack let the pup out of the kennel and Ladybird happily leapt out and stretched herself out a little, happy to be free of the kennel. At least for now. The woman chuckled and rubbed the pup's back before sighing a little and then picking up her bucket again. She didn't know what else was out there for now, and she figured it was a good time as any to look around for a little while, see what else had washed up. The first thing she found was a green sponge like plant, and she happily tossed it into her bucket, wondering what was going to happen for now when everything was going on. Frowning a little, she shook her head, she needed to find something at the moment, there had to be some fish out there right? Though when she looked at the line, nothing was hooked, not yet at least.

Whatever happened, she was going to get to find a few things, and she was going to find at least one fish if it killed her. It wouldn't, of course, she was just being dramatic, but hey, it worked she supposed. Giving a little laugh, she then glanced over at the Houluh who was lounging on a small boulder for a moment, and she hoped that everything was going to go well with her. It seemed like her wish was going to come true, she didn't know if this was going to be the best or anything. At least Ladybird was going to grow up tonight, or so she hoped, and the woman smiled a little as she thought of what she was going to look like all grown up. Honestly she couldn't wait to get her genetics test back and see who she might be good to breed with, though Luna's line was quite extensive at this point.

It was alright, she would get her grown and then it would all be alright in the end. She couldn't wait to breed her and see if her beautiful markings would pass down as well. The woman smiled a little and then looked at the stuff that had washed up again, seeing a bit of red in all of it. Picking it up, she chuckled a little, it looked a lot like the green plant she had plucked, just... well... red. Laughing, she shook her head and wondered what was going to happen for the moment, it would be alright in the end of it all, she was getting what she could for now and that would change eventually she knew. Whatever, Jack sighed as she looked at Ladybird. She just hoped that everything would turn out well and the Houluh would give her some calm pups who would work hard no matter what.

All she had to do was get her trained, she knew with a little smile. At least she was doing that much, though she still had to do a little more, she knew. Jack ran a hand through her curly hair and then rubbed her face, she didn't know what to do in the meantime though, she hadn't found much during this trip, which was a shame, but there wasn't much to do about that. Oh well, it was going to be fine. Ladybird was having fun at least, though she was just hanging out on the boulder as of right now. The woman chuckled a little and couldn't wait to see her grown. All of Luna's line seemed to be pretty well obedient and hard working, she was grateful for that to be passed down as often as it could. There wasn't much slacking, at least from her Houluh she had from Luna's line.

Jack had a little to do at the moment which was fine by her. She looked down and thought she saw a weird little green wriggly thing in the sand underneath the water. It was a good thing the bucket had some water in it, she figured with a little smile, she didn't want anything to die because of what she had at the moment. Pushing her hair back, she then dug it out of the water under Ladybird's watchful eye, and then stuck the worm looking thing into the bucket. It was going to be fine in teh end, she figured with a little chuckle, nothing else was going to come around and all this, it would be the best of it all. She couldn't wait to see her grown... It wasn't like that was going to change at the moment either, she was excited for all of her Houluh right now, she knew.

[Ladybird: Accept Sudden Movements - 1]
Jack looked at the piles of rocks near where she was and put the bucket down. She picked one up and threw it past the Houluh. Ladybird quickly stood up and shook a little, what had that been? It was insane! She barked angrily and then settled down after a few moments, keeping on eye on the woman for now. She didn't know what was going on, but it bothered her a bit. Jack tossed her a treat, this was a little like teaching an animal to sense danger, but not quite the same it would seem. Jack pushed her hair back and sighed a little bit, unsure of what to do at the moment. Maybe this wasn't the best way to do this, but it had worked before, so... why not? She picked up another rock and threw it past the little pup, and Ladybird shot to her paws again to see what that had been.

[Ladybird: Accept Sudden Movements - 2]
If this was all it was, then it made sense, she supposed. Jack threw another rock past the Houluh again before she had a chance to calm down and the pup jumped and barked at her. She wasn't sure what was going to happen to her, but this was going to work. This was going to be the best no matter what, she knew, and the woman was going to hope that all of this training paid off in the end. She threw another rock past her and Ladybird shot off for a moment before trotting back and laying down again. Jack sighed, unsure of what was going to happen right now, and that was perfectly fine. She just hoped that nothing else was going to happen in order to get this training done. Ladybird was going to make a lovely Matronne, that much was certain, and she hoped it would be alright in the end.

[Ladybird: Accept Sudden Movements - 3]
At least she had experience training this sort of thing. Jack threw another rock past the Houluh pup and watched as she jumped a little and gave a small growl, but that was about it. Pushing her hair back, the woman kept an eye on the pup as she wondered if she was already getting used to this. It made sense for her to, she got used to things like this pretty quickly it would seem, at least for now. As she wondered what to do at the moment, she smiled a little and then threw another rock. Ladybird barked and jumped a bit, but that was all she did. Jack was thrilled, this training was going well and she couldn't have figured it would go better herself. This was the only hope she had for all of her Houluh, that they would be trained quite easily, but that was hard to imagine as well.

[Ladybird: Accept Sudden Movements - 4]
As long as she kept this up, then Ladybird would be used to things after a little while and then all would be well. Jack threw another rock past the Houluh and she knew from her reaction of stiffening and not much else that she was getting used to this. Now she just needed to make sure she wouldn't spook at something living moving at her quite quickly. The woman smirked and ran at the pup, though all Ladybird did was stiffen a bit and stand in place, eyes wide, but she didn't bolt. She did, however, growl, as though challenging her somewhat. She wasn't sure how this would work out, but she was doing pretty well so far, that was all she really asked for at this point she knew. Jack chuckled a little, wondering what she needed to do for now no matter what. As long as she learned, this would be fine.

[Ladybird: Accept Sudden Movements - 5]
Ladybird seemed really disinterested as she ran up to her again and threw a handful of rocks past her in all directions. This was the best, she knew, and she just wandered off to see what she could find after the woman was finished doing... whatever it was she was doing right now. Jack pushed her hair back and then patted Ladybird on the back before she smiled and started to pack all of her stuff away, including any items she may have passed over before all of this training was over. There were a few shells and several more plants, and there was at least one fish on her line, it was fine at the same time. She reeled it in and stuck it in the bucket, she already had one of them, but that was fine, she would save it for, well, something, though she didn't know what for yet.

Why had she named him Chunk? She really didn’t know, but whatever, it worked out in the long run and she already knew what his show name was going to be. As she slowly walked to the river, the little puppy at her side on a leash, she wondered what was going to happen when people heard his name. It wasn’t all that flattering, but it wasn’t like he was fat or anything. In fact, he was quite lean, and she wondered if it was partly because he was sad. He had been in the HAA for a long time, quite a long time, about seven months, and she hoped he would overcome some of that sadness and open up to her. It wasn’t her fault she couldn’t take him as well as his sister, though if she had taken him instead of his sister, perhaps a pup from that breeding wouldn’t still be in the HAA.

The problem was, he looked almost identical to his father, Cocoa. Maybe that was why she hadn’t taken him to begin with, but they were together now and there wasn’t much she could do about the past, but she could make it a better future, she knew with a little smile on her face. Jack pushed her hair back as they walked toward the river and she hoped he would be alright. Chunk was pretty cute, reminding her a lot of his father at this point, though Cocoa was a little more aggressive and less depressed. Life would be better if he cheered up a bit, but she wasn’t going to force it on him. Already she knew something she wanted to train him, how to sense danger, but other than that she really didn’t know. Did he have the same markless coat his father had as well? Only time would tell.

Still, she was pretty excited to work with a Houluh again, especially now that she was finished up with Bigfoot. The Longneck was at the museum being inspected right now and hopefully evolved soon, but she knew it might take a little while for him to get back to her, so Houluh it was! They were pretty cute, after all, and she loved to breed them to see what she got from a pair. There were some pretty cute pups in the Kennel at the moment, and she wondered what they would grow into, marking wise. She had several who needed to grow, but she needed to work with Chunk first because of the time limit on HAA pups. Honestly she only needed to train him how to sense danger and then they would be set for life and he would have his forever home, but until then, there was that ounce of panic.
